Maf-Hubam

The only technologically advanced outpost-turned-city for hundreds of miles, Maf-Hubam is home to the pendragons that have journeyed to the far north to study both the polar ice cap and the seemingly under-developed culture of the Yki tribes. Located far enough inland to be safe from the shifting sea ice and glacial break-ups, Maf-Hubam is a wonder to both pendragons from the mainland(s) and the Yki. A large dome covers the small city, held up by an ingenious array of machina designed by some of the most prominent minds in the field. The result is a small tropical paradise growing out of the middle of the snowfields, an oasis for any weary traveller or scientist who has braved the chilling cold and dangerous predators that roam the north.

Ageste

Located in the centre of a ring of small mountains and natural stone pillars, Ageste is a religious area for many Yki tribes. A series of hot springs has somehow formed here, possibly a result of some ancient volcanic action far below. The bubbling waters are said to have incredible healing powers, attracting entrepreneurs and Yki medicine ‘dragons from across the continent. Tales tell of a secret cave located near the largest spring, and inside on a large pedestal carved from volcanic rock sits an onyx bowl filled with cloudy water. It is said that if the blood of a 'pure hearted dragon is dropped into the water it will become clear, and the enchanted waters within will answer a single question.

Shimakin Harbour

The only stable dock for miles of coast, Shimakin Harbour is located on the southern most tip of Dhruv. The weather is less than pleasant, with biting winds and constant storms, the harbour -and the small fishing village relying on it- are often at the mercy of the weather. Proper navigation is crucial, for even in the summer months the open seas are filled with floes of ice. Collisions with such icebergs has caused many fatalities amongst the populace at Shimakin Harbour, but the high prices those in warmer climates will pay for the bounty the fishermen (and women) reap from the sea attracts many a hopeful sailor.

Ajita

The gravity defying wonder of Ramath. How this giant island really floats is not mystery at all. It's held up by an advanced Fronima run machina. The technology was once operated and maintained by the Adamaint Empire, but the Grader line have long since taken over the machina used. The Adamaints didn't seem to be trustworthy of such a large responsibility. Ajita used to be home of the ruling pendragon family. Special ceremonies are often held here.

Fronima

It is the preternatural spirit that binds us. Fronima is where life begins and where all life eventually returns to. To some, Fronima is a mystery that is best left alone. To meddle with it could disrupt balance. To others, it is a power source, able to run machina and give birth to magic. The seers see it as a gateway. A gateway to lost relatives and past events. A gateway that is best left shut, even though it can be ever-so tempting. To the rest, Fronima is where vivid dreams and nightmares occur and are lived out in false-reality.
