The Juxyj-Rejep strongly resembles the Earths extinct raptor, although it has some distinctive qualities. It is about 4 feet long, stands on its hind legs, has razor sharp claws, and is covered in feathers. The most unique feature of this pseudo-bird is its large fan like tail, it resembles that of a peacocks, but it has a strange property. When it loses feathers from its fan-tail it will not re-grow the same feathers, it will re-grow them in different colors and different sizes, and the more times it sheds these feathers the more random and colorful they become. By the age of 60 it will resemble a veritable rainbow. Their main body is comprised of mainly red and green feathers. It has claws that extend 5 inches, which excrete highly corrosive poison. It can reach ridiculous land speeds, sometimes moving as fast as 30 MPH. The Juxyj-Rejep has a large bony growth in the middle of its head, which it uses in mating displays. When it is flushed with blood it turns a pinkish red. It has a snout much like that of a regular raptors, although they have hooked teeth, and their canines can grow to 5 inches long. Juxyj-Rejep mate for life, move in small hunting packs, and unlike most reptiles they have permanent nests. Once they reach the grand age of 70 they die, although their feathers begin rapidly shifting colors. The feathers persist like this for the next 100 years, which is why they are so highly valued in coats. There has been studies showing that the average intelligence of an adult Juxyj-Rejep is only slightly lower than a pendragons, and they even have their own language. The language mainly involves tail-swishes, hisses, clicks, and various other aspects of body language. They have been shown to be able to at least slightly communicate with Takula. The reason for this language resemblance is as of yet unknown.
