The Uhai Desert is plagued by hot winds and dry stinging sands. It is fairly unpopulated and barren save for a few anhydrous plants, sparse grasses, and the odd animal burrow. At sunset the sky turns a pale yellow colour. This effect was called the Maddening Sky by the ancients that called the desert their home. The ancient inhabitants believed that if you saw the yellow sky you would soon after be swallowed up by the sand and forgotten forever. The only remains of this ancient Pendragon race are in a large, and rumoured cursed temple that even the historians know little about.
