Eirik couldn't help but chuckle nervously. Hell, he thought the same thing when the guy came in with his bodyguards and shit. Who wouldn't? But most people would keep thinking that about him even after meeting him and seeing that he wasn't like the rest of the rich folk. "Well, I'm glad you're not arrogant. Everyone else is missing out," he said with a small smile.

He stopped dancing when Garret patted him on the back, tilting one ear towards him and keeping the other pressed back. "Oh, sure..." he said hesitantly. He had a place to live, but it was all the way over in the Black Market and he wasn't going to spend the night driving back.

    You won't be coming back,

  2. "Well it just kinda made sense. It's about the only thing I forgot to plan, hahaha." Garret pondered where in the house to well house him, that and to make sure the guards don't bother them.

"Well we'll pick up your stuff tomorrow evening, I do mean we as I wouldn't trust my um..."people" when it comes to carrying important things." He smiled as the last tune they wanted stopped. "To be honest I only need them for guarding the house and to keep an eye on me when I work. But they insist on watching me when I want some fun.

The purple arden guided them both out of the dance floor for one last drink. "Well my hovercar is out the back ready for us, and when we get home I'll sort some new rules concerning them and you. On another note you can pick any room...even mine if you want it." He grinned as he picked up his last drink. It was a good thing he never drank much, he used it more as a preparation than just out of boredom.

Eirik smiled sheepishly at all the talk. Garret was going to spoil the hell out of him. He wasn't sure how things usually worked anyways, but he kinda figured that workers didn't live where they worked. So many questions he had to ask at this point. "If you don't mind, can I take my own car?" He didn't think Garret would make him leave it here or something.

"Eh... you can't blame me for being a little confused... can you explain what all will happen?" Instead of asking ten million questions, the arden just condensed his curiosity into one simple question that should cover all the bases. He figured they'd just move his instruments into the studio and he'd have to come in just like everyone else with a job. But damn it was gonna be empty back at his own studio without the big drumset and guitars there... maybe he'd get enough money to actually buy some furniture.

The arden picked up his own drink and sipped it contemplatively, kind of losing himself in his thoughts. He'd be happy enough if those big guys just left him alone period. Yea, he was totally intimidated by them and didn't want anything to do with Tiny Tim and ... the other big guy.

    You won't be coming back,

  4. It seemed his talking had more than confused poor Eir, though it took a while for him to notice.

"Erm, what I was trying to say was that you could if you wanted to..." He hesitated for a few seconds. "Move in with me." It seemed like the best solution to Garret and Eir's travelling problems.

"As I said if you wish to we could move all your stuff to my mansion." He smiled at Eirik coyly.

  5.

... Okay, so Garret did mean for Eirik to move in with him. The arden couldn't help but give the other a baffled look. He hadn't even played for the man, but apparently he had a job and a new place to live after spending money buying that studio in the Black Market. Did he miss something?

".... R-really? Why would I need to... move in with you?" Man, he was confused. Garret seemed like the flirty type, but he was moving way too damn fast. If he was uncomfortable before, god knows what he was now.

    You won't be coming back,

  6. Garret sighed, which was a first for the whole night. He looked at Eir directly in the eyes. "Well that is later in the week. Tomorrow we can see how good you are. If you are good or easy to improve then I'll hire you and give you a place to stay."

He drank his drink in one before carrying on talking. "And no you don't need to drive, you can stay with me for the night." He tried to calm the mildly puzzled arden down.

  7.

With the sigh, Eirik felt like he'd done something wrong, but he didn't say anything, ears flipping back as Garret spoke again. He wasn't a poor guy, he had a place to stay already... but a job sounded really nice. Though he wasn't sure if he was ready to play for anyone else yet.

"Thanks, but I don't... wanna leave my car here," he said after a moment. He wasn't sure if Garret meant he'd get somebody to get his car for him or something, but he'd feel better in his own car instead of someone else's with people he didn't know. "I mean, I'll follow you to your place, or whatever..."

    You won't be coming back,

  8. He left his empty glass on the side and walked slowly out, chuckling as he went.

"Well....if it's going to belike this then....We both could drive it to my place. The guys will drive behind us, as I said I wouldn't trust them with your things." His resulting smile was filled with glee.

During his bout of laughter Garret alotted some thoughts to where to place the car. And of course which of the 27 guards to take care of it.

  9.

Eirik followed, leaving half his drink behind at the bar. Did Garret suggest that they both take the car to his place? ... Well, at least the guy was a problem solver... even though he could drive by himself. "I guess that'll work..." he said a little unsure, but not against the idea.

Since Eirik was driving, he went off in the direction of his car, "You gonna go let your guys know what your doing?" He figured he could wait in his car or something, but he didn't want to go with him to meet the guard guys.

    You won't be coming back,

  10. His chuckle was cut short as the mini plan was punctured. The guys? Oh yes them. He pulled out a satalite phone from his trouser pocket.

"Good point, I have such fun that I sometimes forget about them. Last week I left to get some curry and they ended up sitting there for three hours." He pressed five on the speed dial. "T! G! I'm driving a new friends car okay you are gunna keep an eye on use. Got it!" A small silence crawled over the cells' speaker. "Yes boss, we'll follow the phone back home." Garret laughed, he hated acting the "boss" but it did hold some comedy qualities. "Good." He closed the small gadget with one hand.

Back in the hovercar the guards looked at eachother. "Does this mean......" said whispered a stunned T. ".....Yes he may have found someone." Whispered the equally stunned G. They started the car and cleared the cards from the back seat.

Eirik just stood there and watched, not saying anything really. Garret spoke pretty fast, but whatever. At least that was settled. He pulled the keys from his back pocket and went around to the driver's side before sitting himself down and unlocking the passenger side door. He leaned over and opened the door, "So where do you live?" he asked curiously, feeling a little more at ease since he was in his own car.

On the dash was a nice GPS that he used to get to new places and shit like that. It was obvious he put more money into his car and instruments than himself and his home.

    You won't be coming back,

  12. Garret looked around the well furnished car and at the little SATNAV. He smiled sweetly prodding the touch-screen on the NAV with the end of his pen.

"Right there." He registered a slight shock on the dear Eir's face. "Though it may say "Gyakusatsu" it isn't, the island is a few miles south of here but the waters around it border with that land. It's a kind of blip, in the system."

His hovercar crept around the corner to park up behind them. "Well we're all here, shall we?" Garret kipped up his jacket taking care no to catch the fluffy fur in the teeth.

  13.

Eirik looked at where he was pointing with his pen, and the GPS registered with the directions to get there with the touch of the pen. Hell if he had known any of that before, but he guessed it was good to know. He was a little quieter now that he had to drive; he wasn't really used to talking to someone while driving since he'd always done that alone.

With a nod, he started his car up, taking a moment to pull off his shades with one hand and stick them on the collar of his shirt so he could see since, well, it wasn't really that wise to drive at night with sunglasses on. And then they were off, and Eirik hadn't thought to keep the conversation going. It was so obvious he wasn't used to company.

    You won't be coming back,

  14. Now the he was able to see Eir in better light the more he liked him. The street lights glowing through the highlights added to his outfit. Though his breath was nearly stolen as he stared at the eyes. Blue his second favorite colour and his favored eye colour.

"So erm...when did you start playing?" It was the best conversation starter he could think of at the time.

As they drove Garret's phone bleeped a merry little jingle, his guards sending him oddly personal text messages. He momentarily flushed red as he hurridly squashed them. He removed his own shades, revealing his strange eyes placing them in his case with the others.

"Well I have everything sorted out." Smiling at Eir.

  15.

Well, thankfully Garret started a conversation for the concentrating arden, who glanced over momentarily before answering, his tone showing that he was much calmer and less nervous than earlier. "Years ago, maybe when I was 10 or so." Simple answer, but it worked for the moment.

A large ear tilted toward the sound of Garret's phone, but Eirik kept his eyes on the road. He flicked his head to help get his bangs from his face, and when they passed under the streetlight, his all ready bright and beautiful blue eyes turned a lighter shade of blue and then back to the darker color as they got out from under the light. "Was that one of your guard guys?" he asked curiously; those guys seemed really clingy.

    You won't be coming back,

  16. A rather loud gasp broke through his lips as he continued staring at Eir's eyes. His mind screamed at him to get a grip.

"I...um yes. Just checking a few things. Making sure we are alright." His tone wasn't quite in touch with what he was saying. Nor was the pinkish tinge gone from his cheeks.

The one thing I can't control, the stupid body. He silently concluded to have some lessons in body language.

  17.

Luckily for poor Garret, Eirik was so painfully oblivious to the every blush of his cheeks, but he still heard the gasp and thought he almost hit an animal or something. But he didn't ask and kept his eyes on the road, very vigilant. He felt a little agitated that his guards were being paranoid though, did he really look like the kind of guy to go and attack someone? But you never know...

"I hope they don't keep that up..." They'd end up making Eirik more nervous, and he felt pathetic enough standing next to a guy twice his own size, but he wasn't at the proper weight he should be anyways. So he was even more pathetic. "They won't like... hound me or anything, right? They act like I'm gonna punch you in the face or something."

  18. He understood the sentiment even if it was in reply to a lie. Garret only just managed to tear his gaze away from Eir.

"Just why are his eyes so damn beautiful?"Muttering to himself. He half hoped it wasn't heard and half hoped it was.

He looked down at his phone, another message waiting but from the manors' server. The automated proximity message, very useful.

Distance to perimeter...10 minutes It scrolled across the screen four times before vanishing. Garret grinned once again. "Nearly there ten more minutes I think."

"No, no, no. They'll leave us alone. And you especially."

  19.

Yea, Eirik heard him, and it made him a little uncomfortable. Normally people only got to see flashes of his eyes through his bangs, so they never really noticed how pretty they really were. It was a little odd to hear someone compliment them after everyone else just ignoring them. But he didn't make a comment back, nor did he look too uncomfortable about the compliment; he just played it off like he didn't hear, but you'd normally think big ears equaled exceptional hearing.

Through his vigilant watch of the road, the arden let a yawn slip out, and he ducked his head and covered his mouth with a hand before quickly returning to the wheel and his eyes to the road. Ten minutes was good. "All right," he replied back, just for the sake of answering to both things.

    You won't be coming back,

  20. Garret smiled as the bridge came into view. A sweeping curving bridge designed to resemble vines overhead. The lights were build into the tips of the leaves, light blue bathed the cars as they entered the silver tunnel of metal leaves.

"Some local architect designed it we wanted to keep in with the natural landscape. Though to be honest I hate such huge show of wealth." He sighed when the light entered the car, he enjoyed the colour.
