  1. Anakariea stared at him a moment, listening to him, though half of her wasn't.
"To keep sane, your personality changed towards more primitive standards?" the concept confused her; yet it made some sense. The basics of being tribal were simpler than confusing politics they had now, a reason she perfered the wilder reions of contenants. But, being tribal all the same... a much tougher lifestyle.
"Is that another reason you left? Your personality?" she gave him a curious, puzzeling look.

  2. Drsuj let out a hearty laugh, one of his first since then. He looked at the girl "Back then, when I was released, I was nothing more than a viscious, wild animal and my brain thought nothing more. But, since I've been around civilization for quite a while, I have begun to become civilized again too. But I'm still having troubles." Here he raised his front paws from the ground and stood on his back legs, looking for all the world like a normal 'dragon, only he was wobbly, like a toddler learning to walk.

  3. Anakairea listened to his laugh, it souned genuine, if a bit off. At least his explanatoins of his life and attitude were interesting.
"Realised?" she inquired. "Didn't you say you escaped? Or was this another misfortunate event?"
His story was quite captivating. Maybe she could make a street performance using it? She would have to change quite a bit, drama wasn't her biggest talent.

  4. Drsuj looked at her "I did escape, but I only managed to escape because someone broke Revol out and they pulled me out as well. So it was more like a released escape." he said. He hung his head with the memory of the fate of his long dead commander and of someone he personally considered a friens, even if Revol had not.

  5. His words made her come back.
"So the forced realease of someone else allowed your escape?" Something else seemde to be bothreing him, but she kept with asking on how he got away. Could drama bring a good audience? She had mostly done comedy, but she could try something new. Or, maybe a book this time? Becoming an author could help her get enough money to travel and get good places to sleep. Or maybe it could pay for other classes..? She shook her head, and tried to pay attention to any reply he could give.

  6. "Basically yes." he said and shifted his gaze up to look at her. She seemed to be zoning out while thinking. He made a low growl deep in his throat as though warning her that if she was thinking of involving any law enforcers, she would be in for it, but in the same growl, he questioned what she was thinking about.

  7. His growl made her laugh; it was light and airy.
"Still a little primative are you?" the general meaning of why he growled was lost to her, her mind was already constructing a silly version of his story. It was rather difficult, but his lacking detail made it easier to manipulate the concept of the story.

  8. He widened his eyes slightly at her comment and made another, lower growl. "Why are you doing that?" he asked, still retaining the threat ito his growl, but unsure how he worded the question.

  9. "Doing what?" Anakariea became uneasy, her tail lay motionless. Drsuj might attack her, and she didn't have anyting to help her if that strugle occured. He oculd probably overpower her easily. What was bothering him so much? She scooted away very slightly, so it just looked like she was rocking herself. The person being insane and hallucinating would be a good end to the story...a nice twist. If she got out of this situatoin.

  10. He looked at her closley "Why do you look like your considering something" and now he brought the growls he had been using into words "If you even consider bringing any law into this, I'll kill you!" he said and growled slightly.
    ((ARGH!! THE WRITER'S BLOCK!!))

  11. Well, at least it's an interesting situatoin x.x)

Anakariea was about to answer his first question, but the second caught her off guard. She stood rigid with anger.
"Do you think I would do something so idiotic? Do you really think I actually believe your stroy? And where do you suppose I am going to find these authorities?!" She didn't quite know why, but his questoin had really angered her to the limit. Did he think she was so untrustworthy, just after he finished saying his terrible story to her? Men were dumber than she thought! Why would he tell her of this terrible crime then not trust her? And then threatening her! Who did he think he was? Not even knowing who he had killed, and thinking about doing murder again!

    (..I suppose I don't I have writers block..)

  12. He harumphed at her questioning him. He looked away, slightly ashamed and slightly annoyed. "I've just been running for long enough and have been betrayed so many times that sometimes it's hard to get over those times." he admitted, and strangely enough, it was the closest he had ever gotten to an apology since he had escaped. He walked a few paces away from her and began sniffing at the ground. He stopped and smirked at one spot in particular. Putting a paw there he began to dig rougly and soon he had hollowed out a hole from the sand. He looked back up at her amd smirked "One trick I learned from living in the dessert for sop long." here he continued to dig and after a while, he practically forced his entire weight into the hole and water began to bubble up around his paws. He smirked at her again before lowering his maw to drink.

  13. Anakariea stared at him while he spoke. But, he seemed to calm down. She near laughed at his snffing, but knew it had a purpose. He was a definate odd character, maybe she would write about his funny side...
She alughed when the water came up. At least he could be a little silly, even when he wasn't trying. She walked over and stared at the hole.
"How do you tell the differenace by smell?"

  14. He smiled at her slightly "It's easy! Everything has a different smell." he looked at her closely. "Why? You mean you can't smell the difference?" he sat back on his haunches and looked at her quizzically. He closed his eyes and threw his head back and laughed from his belly this time "Well, I guess that makes a little sense considering I had to adapt to life out here for at least a year, so I had to find water somewhere." he opened one eye and looked at her closely, studying her.

  15. "I can smell some differances. But I'm normally not out in a place like this." she stuck a hand in the water and swirled it around, she wasn't thirsty. "You've been living in the desert for a year? What do you eat?" She wondered if he would sniff out some food too...

  16. He smirked at her. "There's plenty of little rodents out here that make use of the same water that I did, and if you're lucky, I've found a few edible plants out here, mostly tiny shrubs and such." he glanced around, taking in the entire scenery. He looked back towards her. "But there dosen't seem to be either here." with a sigh he went back to drinking from the sandy, cloudy water he had unearthed. Really, it was some of the best for him, considering the conditions he lived in.

  17. She watched him for a moment.
"If you've lived out here for so long; how do you know they're still coming for you? Or whatever. How do you know they're not dead?" Anakariea didn't want to anger him, but she was curious. Would he spend his entire life out here, never knowing if he could return to the cities or not?

  18. He chuckled, "I lived out here for a year after I escaped, since then, I've been living all over the world, mostly in Bhim, but I sometimes come back here, to remember." he sat down on the sand and looked at his reflection in the water. He noted the old scars on his face where he had been degraded. To him, they still seemed as fresh as when he first got them. He sighed and looked up at her. "But I know they're still after me, I was chased out of the desert, out of the Machina Ruins, out of most of the places I used to live, but never out of Bhim. People look after one another there, or at least, the ones I've met do." He chuckled slightly again "But what would you know about life like this." he joked.

  19. She quited while she was listening. Anakariea shook her head.
"I never quite lived like you. I've always traveled, ever since I left my parents. I travel around and perform in cities. I'm normally on my own, but I like my privacy." She played with a bit of her hair and sighed. "Oddly enough I hatched out here, never learned that much about it though. Never really had to survive out here..." Even young, she had been to many places. Small towns, and cities. But she always relied on the money she earned by performing. Having to survive out here and being able to count on other people for help was a new aspect for her. She near always rented a room at an inn or hostile. She rarely camped. Rarley stayed with friends, or made friends.

  20. He humphed slightly and under his breath he muttered something that sounded oddly like "parents." they were a tough subject for him. He had forgotten his parents, even how they looked, he had forgotten everything about them and about himself until one day when he was battling a gunslinger, they accidentally stepped into his home, and he found a picture of them and him. It had, unfortunaltely gotten disintegrated in a fire soon after.
