Sarah continued to hear him practice while saying, "I play modern day pop, metal, and rock." She looked at the guitar. She then said, "The sponsers of the concert wanted me to be part of the concert, but I said no, then they started begging for me to participate. They followed me everywhere, now I've lost them." She then to the counter and saw two of the sponsers. She pointed to them. "That's them. Recognize them?"
Veti looked back and saw them then he set his gaze on Sarah. “Oh, them. Yeah, I know them, and I can make them leave you be, that’s if you still don’t want to participate?" Veti smiled awaiting an answer.
Sarah thought on the subject a minute the answered, "Well, I was just going to say no, but I gave thought and my answer is this...... I'll give it a shot." Seeing the sponsers appoach her, she just blurted out, "Look, I'll participate. Now leave me alone."
Veti raised his eyebrow and was amazed. “Now, this is going to be fun. I’ll wish you good of luck." Veti practice once again then one of the sponsors recognized him. “Veti! You’re playing in the concert, right?" Veti looked at him and nodded.
Sarah nodded in agreement, then one of the two sponsers started talking to Veti while the other was looking at her. "Take a picture, it lasts longer." The the sponser turned around and walked off. Sarah looked at Veti. "So, what are going to do after the concert?"
Veti looked at her. “Um… I don’t know, probably go home." Veti sat back in his chair. Hmm. I wonder why she asked?
Sarah looked down. "Oh..... because I thought you and I could get a couple drinks at a pub or bar or someting." She then looked back Veti. "But if you're just gonna go home...."
Veti looked at her. “Hmm. I guess I could drink a couple." Veti smiled. Veti grabbed his pendant and kissed it for good luck.
Sarah then got an idea. "How about, if you win, I pay and if I win, you pay. Sound fair?" She then smiled, seeing him kissing his pendant for luck.
Sarah saw Veti hold out his hand, so she held out hers and shook his. Withdrawing her hand, she thought, This will be good. She looked straight into Veti's eyes. She then noticed a piece of paper that was on the table. "What's this?" She picked it up and it stated, 'List of participants'. "Mabye the sponser left it here." She read the list, then gave it to Veti.
Veti gazed at the paper and set it down. “Must have. An hour till." Veti said while he was looking at his watch.
Seeing Veti look at his watch, Sarah folded the magazine in half and stuffed it in her bag. She then looked at Veti. "I think the entertainment center is just around the corner."
Veti grabbed his guitar and stood up. “You’re correct, it is over there. You feel ready?" Veti started walking towards the concert.
Sarah stood up after Vet, then cracked her knuckles. Feeling a slight, yet ignoring pain, Sarah replied confidently, "Yep, I was born ready." She caught to Veti, walking beside him.
Veti just walked around the corner and saw the concert with a giant crowd chanting loudly. Veti laughed then said. “No pressure, huh?" He smiled and continued towards the stage.
Sarah was full of confidence as she saw the crowd chanting loudly. "Yep, no pressure." As the crowd saw Sarah and Veti, they started to cheer even louder. Sarah started climbing the stairs with Veti behind.
Veti was on the stage next to Sarah then one of the sponsors came over. “Sarah Gojgla, You’re up next then it’s you Veti, ok?" Veti nodded and went in the back, but he told Sarah. “Good luck, Sarah." Smiled Veti as he continued towards the backstage.
Sarah took a deep breath, then walk to the front of the stage. Hearing the sound of the cheering crowd, Sarah waved to them. "Hey, y'all. How are you?" the crowd cheered even louder. "Ok, this song is about a relationship that eventually ended by me kicking him out." The crowd cheered again. Sarah then spun herself, then the lights dimmened. She started to sing, "Don't cry to me. If you loved me, you would be here with me. You want me, come find me. Make up your mind." She took a deep breath as the drums and the guitar started. "Should I let you fall? Lose it all? So maybe you can remember yourself. Can't keep believing, we're only deceiving ourselves. And I'm sick of the lie, and you're too late. Don't cry to me. If you loved me, you would be here with me. You want me, come find me. Make up your mind." The crowd started to cheer even louder as Sarah sang. "Couldn't take the blame. Sick with shame. Must be exhausting to lose your own game. Selfishly hated, no wonder you're jaded. You can't play the victim this time, and you're too late. Don't cry to me. If you loved me, you would be here with me. You want me, come find me. Make up your mind." She started to slow down then lightened her voice as she sang the next lines. "You never call me when you're sober. You only want it cause it's over, it's over. How could I have burned paradise? How could I - you were never mine. So don't cry to me. If you loved me, you would be here with me. Don't lie to me, just get your things. I've made up your mind." She finished sing and the crowd cheer their lungs out. The lights still shined bright and Sarah waved again, then said, "Thank you, thank you." She head for back stage and saw Veti waiting for her. "Well, how was it?"
“Hmmm. Not bad. Well, see you after this." Said Veti as he walked onto the stage hearing the crowd cheer. He went and grabbed the microphone. “How you doing yall. Hope you have enjoyed this concert so far. Before I bore you to death, I better start the song, it’s called ‘It’s Not Over!’…" he put the microphone back and started the tune of his guitar. “I was blown away. What could I say, it all seem to make sense, and take it away… everything… and I can deal without. I tried to see the good in life, but good things in life are hard to find…" Veti took a small tune pause then went back to the song as the crowd cheered. “Blown away… blown away… can we make this something good… Mmmmo… When I’m tired doing the right in this time around… and lets start it over---. Time to do it right this time around… because it’s not over---. Because a part of me still standing in the ground. Its love is ---calling--- to the only one… It’s not over---." He stopped singing and played the tune for about ten seconds. “Taking not I take, and I cannot wait… wasting too much time, being strong, putting on--. Can’t let it break us down… My life with you means everything, so I won’t give up that easily… blown away… blown away… Can make this something good----. Because it’s all misunderstood----. Well, time to do it right this time around… and lets start over---. Time to do it right this time around… It’s not over… Because part of me still standing in the ground… Its love is ---calling--- me to only one… It’s not over--." Veti stopped singing again and played the tune once more about ten seconds as the crowd still cheered him on. “You can let this get away… Let it out… let it out… Don’t get caught up in yourself. Let it out---. It’s not over---. Because it’s time to do it right this time around. It’s not over---. Because a part of me still standing in the ground--. Its love is ---calling--- me to only one… It’s not over--. Lets start over--……" Veti played the tune while his song was coming near to its end. “It’s not over--. yeah… Yeah---! Its love is ---calling------ me to the only one… It’s not over." Veti sang as he set a ringer tune to finish his song. He went up to the microphone and said. “I hope you all enjoyed the concert and thank you." The crowd were cheering loudly as Veti walked backstage.
