<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Short posts are no fun! Come on get creative! Anything could happen! :D </td></tr></table> The beast was almost at the centre of the temple. If he succeeded, the world would be his, and the stupid mind that ruled this body would be no more... He stomped through the last doorway into a large room, with a high domed ceiling, and a mosiac depicting a snow covered plain. He then went to the stone console in the center of the room, and deftly, even though his fingers were huge, and Xaviers titanium replacement claws didn't help either, started to type on the odd shaped keys with strange symbols. There was a crack, and the floor in front of the console opened up slowly, exposing a glowing crystal that resembled an icicle. The beast slammed his fist down onto the final key, and the icicle started shaking and glowing a brighter blue. Something stirred inside the crystal and the beast grinned, soon his plan would be acomplished...
Drsuj saw what was happening. Though he had once, maybe, been something like it, he still had to stop it. Though Thi tried to hold him back, he ran foreward, knocking both Thi and Talon over in the process. He aimed straight for the crystal as it became a bright blue. He crashed into it and it shattered as he fell to the ground, his scorched fur smouldered. Thi, who had finnaly gotten up, saw what happened and cried <span style='color:blue'>DRSUJ! </span>
<span style='color:orange'>Dammit Man!, Wrong thing to do!</span> Talon screamed at him, and ran towards him and dragged him away from the shards of the crystal. The Beast had started stomping towards the broken crystal, an evil grin spreading on his face. Talon looked over to the remaining parts of the crystal and saw a creature stand up. It was Almost exactly like a dragon, only it's scales were light blue, and when it opened it's mouth, a stream of frost and pieces of ice issued forth. <span style='color:orange'>A Frost Drake...</span> Talon muttered and left Drsuj with Thi, then turned to face the beast, who had now straightened up, the Frost Drake perched on his massive forearm. The Drake let out another stream of ice and snow. It was primal in it's looks, far less evolved than any pendragon alive. The Beast leaned close to it and whispered a few quick words in some unknown language and the Drake spread it's wings and took flight, flying directly towards Talon. Talon responded by holding out his partisan, and the blade again caught flame. <span style='color:orange'>Thi, there is only one solution. I need you to attack me with light energy, any kind. Although the soul inside of me is evil as well, it is selfish and will not want my brothers evil soul to control this world alone. When I start to transform, get out of sight untill the combat begins, then destroy the Drake, use fire attacks...</span> Talon let out a stream of fire just as the Drake spewed another stream of ice in his direction, and the two forces met in the middle. The Drake started circling Talon, and the two began to spin in a circle, the Drake changing height and position to try and get it's attack through Talons fire attack. But Talon matched him with his fire, every motion, and the Drake backed off, and began to gain height for a diving attack with it's razor sharp claws. <span style='color:orange'>NOW!!!</span> Talon shouted to Thi...
<span style='color:blue'>But, I can't....</span> Thi began to protest. She didn't know elemental magic. But, she tried anyway by focusing on all the light inside of her and she imagined herself throwing it at Talon. She also looked inside to see if there was anyway for her to attack the frozen drake with fire.
Talon purposely let his guard down, and felt the small amount of light energy hit him. <span style='color:purple'>Freedom....</span> His eyes had started seeping dark energy and he soon created a thick cloud of purple haze. The beast turned to him, and let out a low growl. <span style='color:yellow'>This world is mine!, get away from this place!</span> The soul inside of Talon only grinned. <span style='color:purple'>Planning to take over the world without me?, I'm insulted...</span> He conjured up a ball of tightly packed dark energy and hurled it at the beast, which only made him yelp and grow in size a little bit. The two totally ignored Thi and Drsuj, and continued to exchange insults and attack each other, to no effect. The Drake hovered nearby the two, not knowing what to make of it all, the two sometimes turned to him, yelling commands in an ancient language, the Drake would go to follow the command, and the other would yell something opposite, soon it got so confused it just flew down and perched on the edge of the stone console in the room and began preening itself...
Thi saw what was happening. She saw the little Drake perch upon the stone console. She nudged Drsuj and pointed at it. drsuj nodded and they crept up behind it. Drsuj's maw shot out faster thn the Drake could react and he soon had it in his mouth, running in the opposite direction of the two beasts.
The Drake screeched, and thrashed around, scoring a deep cut near Druj's eye and letting a stream of ice out right into his face. Not soon after. It wriggled free, and flew high above, screeching and flapping around. It let started shooting streams of ice at Drsuj, and slamming the roof and walls, knocking deadly sharp icicles from the ceiling. It flapped onto a high ledge, and started scraping ice from the walls around it and coating it's wounds with it. The wounds almost instantly healed. It then started firing beams of ice and frost at Drsuj again, and knocking icicles from the ceiling...
Drsuj growled. He fell on the floor because of the injury he had received when the pillar had collapsed on him. Thi was standing at the entrance to the huge cavern. Drsuj roared at the Drake, his seemed louder than the two, Xavier and Talon. His breath crystallized in the freezing air. It came out looking like frost. A slight shard of the crystal he broke was stuck into his side.
The Two brothers stopped fighting and turned at the roar. <span style='color:purple'>I call truce for a second to destroy these two...</span> Talon said, still seeping dark energy. <span style='color:yellow'>Agreed.</span> grunted The beastal Xavier, and started stomping towards Drsuj, who was closer. Talon conjured up a ball of fire and raised his arm to throw, unfortunately for him, the Drake swooped down to rest on his arm as he threw it. The Drake screeched again, and twisted in it's death throes, a rainbow of the reds and oranges of fire and the blues and white of ice. It crashed to the ground by Thi, dripping a mix of water and blood. <span style='color:yellow'>NOOOO!</span> The beastal Xavier cried. <span style='color:yellow'>You Idiot!, you've ruined my plan!</span> He roared and swung a fist at Talon, smashing him into the remains of the crystal egg. Then turned to Drsuj to finish him off in his rage. He had barely turned around however, when a solid beam of purplish dark energy slammed into his back between his shoulder blades. The beam continued and the Beast screamed and roared as it grew in size, flesh tearing to make room for the muscles that expanded, then healed over, then ripped again. The beast Fell forwards not soon after, and started to shrink untill Xavier was back to normal, the only clothing not ripped was his pants. His combat mask and shirt had fallen off during his sprint through the caves. He got up, and rubbed his head. <span style='color:red'>Where am I?</span> He asked to Drsuj, who was nearby, and turned around to watch Talon, still possessed, grab onto the sides of the shattered egg and hoist himself out, his partisan in his hand. <span style='color:purple'>What a foolish soul your body contains boy... Did he really think he could best me?</span> Talon raised his partisan and sent a ball of energy soaring from it's blade to slam into Xavier, making him fly back and slam into the wall beside Thi. <span style='color:red'>Damn...</span> He said, and slumped against the wall, still conscious but badly bleeding and sore. Xavier got up and faced Talon, his titanium replacement claws sliding out to their full length, making his hands seem petite. <span style='color:red'>I'm sorry Talon...</span> he whispered, and charged...
Thi stood between Xavier and Talon. <span style='color:blue'>Xavier, no</span> she whispered softly. <span style='color:blue'>Talon saved your life</span> Drsuj came over and slumped against Thi's strong body. <span style='color:red'>Yeah, Xav</span>
Xavier stared at them. <span style='color:red'>Do you thi...</span> he never got to finish the sentence as a huge ball of dark energy nailed him square in the chest and shot him out through the doorway. <span style='color:purple'>Heh Heh, you two just asked me to kill you...</span> Talon said, still holding his partisan down, ready to fire, purple steam rising from the tip of the blade. He started charging energy for another shot to attack the remaining two...
Thi turned and glared at Talon <span style='color:blue'>Talon!!</span> She called <span style='color:blue'>STOP DOING THIS!! Its wrong!</span> Drsuj hobbled over to Xavier to check if he was ok.
Talon just grinned and launched another energy ball her way... <span style='color:purple'>I'm not Talon you stupid girl... He's currently locked away in my mind, seeing everything I see, but can do nothing about it!</span> He took a step back, and began hammering the keys on the stone console. There was a flash of light, and the ceiling slowly started to open in a circular fashion. Snow and ice started to fall through, because the ceiling had collapsed not long after they had entered the temple. Talon, or the tainted soul inside of him, sprinted out the door, leaving the three still in the strike zone of the tons of ice and snow that would cascade down upon them when the ceiling opened up enough. Xavier snored on in the doorway, oblivious to everything going on...
Thi was knocked back by the energy ball. She flew back and crashed into the wall. She looked up in pain. <span style='color:blue'>Talon,</span> she whispered <span style='color:blue'>Help.</span> The second energy ball struck her and her body had a spasm as the dark energy tried to immerse itself into her blood. Drsuj dragged Xavier by his scruff out of the doorway. <span style='color:red'>Xavier. You gotta get up</span> he said. He was still injured from the crashing of the statue onto his body and the shard of the icecle that the drake was kept in still stuck into his side.
<span style='color:purple'>I'M NOT TALON!</span> came a voice down the hallway, acompanied by a rumble, and ice and snow started pouring into the room. from the hole above... It was only a trickle, but it soon widened to a torrent of frozen debris, whatever the three were gonna do, they had to do it fast...
Thi stood. She tried to walk over to the morphed Talon. Tears ran down her face. <span style='color:blue'>I know you're in there</span> she said as she crashed to the feet of the morph monster. Drops on blood oozed from her joints as she lay at the feet, one paw draped over the foot itself.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Talon's gone... the soul took him out the door already...</td></tr></table> Xavier snapped to as a clump of snow hit him in the face. He wiped snow from his eyes and stood up and looked around. <span style='color:red'>Damn him...</span> he said and somehow started dragging Thi and Drsuj towards the door, hopefully saving them before the tons of ice and snow finished filling the other half of the room and moved towards their side, where the door was...
Drsuj was still strong enough to walk and to help Xavier support Thi's now limp body. The dark energy coursed through her body, but her entire brain fought to keep it out of her bloodstream. She hjad passed out because her entire brain needed to work to keep the darkness out of her and therefore could not maintain normal functions. Drsuj called to the decapitated voice <span style='color:red'>Now look! Thi's about to die! Talon, fight it!</span>
<span style='color:purple'>He can't hear you mortal! Don't even try to reach him!</span> The voice called back down the hallway, as if the soul was close by... Xavier grunted, and shifted Thi's weight onto his shoulders, so he could jog. <span style='color:red'>We gotta get outta here, the soul won't kill Talon, he's the only thing stopping him from being purified and sent to fromina.. He'll take care of Talon, come on, lets go!</span> he explained to Drsuj, and started jogging off down the hallway, trying to keep Thi's head from flopping around...
Drsuj's headed towards the exit. Thi came to momentarily, she moaned <span style='color:blue'>Talon.</span> before she passed out again. Drsuj stopped short and turned to Xavier <span style='color:red'>Put Thi down, I'll carry her on my back.</span> he said and kelt down to Xavier could place her on his back.
