<span style='color:purple'>Shall we go?</span> He asked, standing up and pulling her close. He did want to get a rise out of her, and if this didn't work, he quit and would stop playing for a while.
Chz looked over at Sejv with a look of confusion on her face. She thought for a few minutes and smiled. <span style='color:purple'>Sejv, I was supposed to practice that for one of my classes. This particular book, is one of my textbooks. Look, see how some of the pages have turned blue? Like the page I just was on, that means I have completed it the correct way.</span> She couldn't help but, giggle. It didn't suprise her that, he had assumed it was just a random book, she was reading from this time. She had done it more than once lately. <span style='color:purple'>Ofcourse, the next time I go to Bhim you can go with me! I love going book hunting, they always look at me so odd over there.</span> -- Nyx looked into Raizan's eyes, and felt her heart start to pound. She allowed him to pull her close. At this moment, she didn't care if anyone did walk into the room. She leaned in closer and kissed him.
Sejv frowned at this, he didnÂ’t care if it was some teachers thing, all that meant was that he couldnÂ’t be angry at her. It didnÂ’t mean that he couldnÂ’t get that teacher sacked, that spell was not only dangerous but it provided no real use. Teaching someone how to take a hit wasnÂ’t part of their normal school teaching and it was just plain crazy. The whole thing was crazy. "WhatÂ’s that teachers name, I need to have some words with them about their methods." He said with an angry tone of voice, putting students in danger was an unnecessary risk. His mood calmed at the thought of going to Bhim thought, bring him down from rage to mildly irritated. "And Bhim sounds good, give me a shout when your next going." A smile returning to his face now. "And what else did this nut teacher set for you too." he asked inquisitively, peering at the book in front of her. Maybe she had picked up the wrong text book or something. Maybe it was one fro aspiring crash test dummies, he didnÂ’t know.
Raizan kissed her back, happy that he had gotten the reaction he was seeking. He didn't care if anyone walked in either, he just wanted to kiss her and enjoy the moment.
Chz looked at Sejv and looked unhappy. She reached over to her backpack and pulled her other text book out. She handed it over to Sejv. She said in a quiet voice, <span style='color:purple'>I don't know the teachers full name. His first name is Netlaupemd'khuyt. He keeps odd hours. As for what else did he have planned, I am not sure. I will not be finding out for the next couple of days. Then he usually tells us what page he wants us to study next.</span> She felt her mood change for the better, when he mentioned Bhim. <span style='color:purple'>That would be fun, ofcourse you might not approve on the method I use to get the books.</span> She said, in a partially serious but, partially playing tone of voice. -- Nyx pulled back and smiled, as she looked into his eyes.
Sejv frowned, he hadnÂ’t really heard of this teacher much but he had seen him around, he would certainly have to inquire about him and maybe have a little chat. He didnÂ’t like bad teachers one bit, in fact he despised them. Now however he forced his mind onwards to the new topic of book hinting. He looked at her quizzically, trying to hazard a guess as to how she did it. It sounded a little strange to him indeed. "Well what is it, as long as its not to bad IÂ’m sure its ok." If it was anything like stealing, well the guild had and did turn a blind eye to that. As long as they didnÂ’t get caught that it. Anything got knowledge was how they put it, and its like the old saying. Knowledge really is power, and obviously all major organisations such as the guild wanted more power. But also it increased their reputation as a school if they had the best materials. For magic that is. Then that led to more students and more Mages, it was their goal to bring back magic to its full force. Maybe even replace the military with mage soldiers instead of the normal gun hoe ones. They had already proved that one mage was more than a match for them.
<span style='color:purple'>Thats more like it, shall we check up on them?</span> He asked, smiling back at her and reluctantly breaking the embrace. If he was sure about no one walking in, he would have continued with her, but she had a reputation to maintain here.
Chz grinned. She said, <span style='color:purple'>Well, there is usually one or to shop owners who are typically very bored. At the same time, they usually have some errand they need ran, or something moved and can't find anyone to move it for them. So, I do the errand or move whatever it is. They are never quite sure of how to pay me, so they let me decide. I ask for books, that they can't seem to sell or they just don't want to put out for sale. I usually end up with anywhere from 1 - 10 because they give them to be by the boxful. I have only kept a couple the rest I have given to the guild.</span> She paused and looked around the arena. She quickly moved and pulled down the sheet, and folded it up, then returned it to her backpack. She thought for a minute, and said, <span style='color:purple'>I guess it isn't that bad, how I get the books. I guess it was more that, I was afraid you would tell me not to keep going.</span> -- Nyx smiled and nodded. "<span style='color:red'>Yes, even though at times Sejv, is the only one who appears to have the capability to protect Chz from herself.</span> She said with a laugh. She took Raizan by the hand, and walked in the direction of the arena. After a couple of minutes they were at the door, she stepped inside, just to hear Chz saying, I was afraid you would tell me not to keep going. She raised an eyebrow, glanced at Raizan then turned and gave Chz and Sejv a curious look. <span style='color:red'>I only caught the end of the comment but, now I am curious, to hear the rest of it.</span> She leaned against the wall, and continued to watch the both of them.
Sejv sighed with a little laugh afterwards, he was expecting a little worse to be honest but running errands for Bhim traders wasnÂ’t the worse thing in the world, but by no means the best. Still it would be a good excuse for him to run along with her, just like the old days. Getting books with her was something he hadnÂ’t done in a very long time, he could even remember the first time they met. "Ah that fine, as long as these errands arenÂ’t too dangerous. I think ill come with you anyway though, even if its just to keep an eye on you ms trouble. Bhim is a shady place and it never hurts to have a little back up." He said with a wink and grin, it would be good to hang around more often. He kinda missed the old times, he wasnÂ’t to lucky in friends these days. Work kept him far to busy.
<span style='color:purple'>Well, I think we have a duel to keep</span> He said, smiling and walking into the arena, looking around it and feeling the energy flowing through it.
Chz looked up slightly suprised as Nyx and Raizan walked into the arena. She hadn't expected them, to come along also but, oh well. She turned back to Sejv and laughed. <span style='color:purple'>Who me, trouble? Never!</span> She said, in a playful voice. <span style='color:purple'>Yes, it would be fun. We haven't hung out in quite a while.</span> At that point she realized that she hadn't answered Nyx yet. She turned and looked at Nyx. <span style='color:purple'>Oh, we were just talking about book hunting that was all.</span> She looked at her in curiosity. <span style='color:purple'>Duel? Oohh, I wanna watch!</span> She grabbed Sejv by the hand and stepped back into the chairs that were right behind them. Nyx looked between Chz and Sejv, and just shook her head. She turned and looked at Raizan. <span style='color:red'>We most certainly do.</span> She flew quickly across the arena, and playfully zapped the spot he was standing, with electricity.
Sejv sat and crossed his legs as he watched the two start up some fight, he sorta did a mini male cheer thing but soon let it die from embarrassment. More content to watch the fight, or whatever it was going to be. He had been curious about that new guy who had been following Nyx around for ages, he had assumed they were dating and that was fine. But he was going to have to get him some kind of more permeate visitors pass or something. It was a little odd to have people wandering into a school on and off, you had to be extra careful when it came to children. They couldnÂ’t afford to be sued by angry parents, well they could they just didnÂ’t want to.
<span style='color:purple'>No fair</span> He said, flying up and hovering, smirking at her. <span style='color:purple'>But if that's the way you want to play, I will happily oblige you</span> He said, smiling and placing his hands together, then pulling them apart and moving them to the sides of his body. It was almost ivisible, but a blade of air was formed, the way you could tell was beacuse his fur went towards it, as if a vaccum was behind it. <span style='color:purple'>Let's go</span> He said, launching the blade at her.
Chz sat in the chair watching with huge eyes. She had never seen anything quite like this before. She watched carefully and realized, that for once she was glad to have no understanding of the trades they were using. It looked scarier than anything else she had tried on her own and read about. She whispered, Sejv, they won't hurt each other right?[color] in a slightly worried tone. Nyx laughed and carefully avoided the blade or so she thought. She flew up to the top of the arena and immediately zapped his air blade, and it started to radiate in color.
Sejv watched mildly impressed as the two mages fought, he was a little more experienced then them both but it was always good to see people duel. They could use magic in ways you hadnÂ’t quite thought of and it made great practise for thinking out side the box. And Air blade was something that mildly appealed to him. When he heard Chz's little nervous tone he remembered her age and smiled, she had probably forgotten that time they practiced together in the arena. "DonÂ’t worry, this whole room is enchanted with healing and preservation spells. You feel pain a bit, but to kill them would take something pretty damm massive." He said with a smile, that was of course for real matches why they had judges and a time limit. Or until the first person either couldnÂ’t draw any more power to them and couldnÂ’t defend themselves, their for lost. Or they just collapsed from taking a big hit. Quite simple.
Raizan smirked, he knew that she wouldn't be caught by that technique, it was just to distract her. While she zapped the blade, he had been charging air around his fist. <span style='color:purple'>You should remember this one Nyx...REISA KAN</span> He yelled, a blast of wind knicking her out of the air as he flew at her, conjuring a small ball of wind in his hand.
Chz watched the two. She stood up, and continued to watch. She heard Sejv's words and nodded. Right at this moment she decided that, if the chance to ever watch a big duel. She would do so from a distance, in her opinion this way far to close for her comfort. She inched closer to Sejv, never taking her eyes off of them. Nyx let out a curse. It took her a moment to steady herself. She looked over at Raizan and said, <span style='color:red'>Yeah, I remember that one.</span> She suddenly flew behind the statue, closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment. She made the ground rumble and shake, and start cracking. The crack heading towards him. She opened her eyes and listened, continueing to stay behind the statue.
Sejv smiled and put his arm around the scared Chz, gently rubbed her arm in a comforting way. He couldnÂ’t help but laugh a bit although it was understandable, she was very young after all. He grinned as the fight ensued, air stuff was all very interesting. "Ah they will be fine, seriously the worst that will happen is like a few bruised." Still laughing as they carried on shooting each other.
<span style='color:purple'>You forgot I'm flying nyx, opening the ground won't do anything</span> He whispered to himself, moving out of the way of the crack just in case. The little ball he had conjued was starting to spin faster, almost as if it was gathering strength to grow.
Chz leaned against Sejv, and gave him a greatful smile. She turned and watched, wondering what the dragon named Raizan, was going to do next. Nyx opened her eyes, she knew the last trick wouldn't do any good, since he was flying. She just had taken a minute to regen slightly. She grinned and the arena was full of electricity, outlining her and Raizan. She let out a laugh, that sounded more like a cackle, as the electricity grew a little stronger.
