<table class=ooc><tr><td>All birds in that half of the aviary are plain solids. And thier's no Gene for black yet. *wink* I'm saving that one to get written in as a Mutation later on. The birds in Turrush's Feeder Flock (They're kept to feed to his Trisks) are going to be Non-Pastel Strait or True colors off of the http://genetics.shadowlack.com/Flitter2.phphttp://genetics.shadowlack.com/Flitter2.php</a> page. The Pattern gene would be a Plain old AA.

I probobly should have specified that earlier.</td></tr></table>

  2. [OOC]<span style='color:gray'>ok, yeah. Would have been helpful.</span>[OOC]

Tsuj shook his head. -No, never mind, not that one.- Then His eyes widened. He saw one that was beautiful. His hand slowly rose as his finger pointed out a true color red flitter sitting on a branch grooming itself. -That one!-

<table class=ooc><tr><td>*sheepish* Sorry about that. I have this bad habit of forgetting that people can't read my mind.</td></tr></table>

"Allright." With sure movments, Turrush slid through the two doors and into the cage while keeping his eyes on the little flitter he was to catch. His movments were confident as we approched the bird, muttering soft reasurances under his breath. These were not the tames of his stock, and it showed in the hesetant way the tiny bird let him slip his little finder under it's breast and then alsmot refused to step up onto his finger. Slowly, carefully, he placed his hand gently over the back of the bird, preventing it from taking wing. After the bird was in his hand, it was an easy matter to step out into the escape-prevention alcove and take a little cardboard box from the pile on a shelf and put the bird inside. It was only a few more moments befor he was out and offering the box to the little one. "There you are, little one. Now, do you know how to take care of a Flitter?"

  4. Tsuj quickly grabbed the box. -Umm.- He said. -You need a cage, an you gotta feed it and clean its cage?- He asked and smiled up at Turrush

  5. [ooc]When you register it, Red Solid for Desc, and the Genotype is AA-AA[/occ]

"That's right. They drink nectar from flowers. So he'll need fresh flowers every day. In winter He'll need Sugar-water, and he already knows how to drink from a bowl, I make sure mine learn young. You take good care of him. Who knows, maybe someday You'll grow up to be an animal Breeder and Trainer like me." Turrush grinned. "If you need any help, you can come and ask me about it. Especialy if he gets sick."

  6. Tsuj nodded happily. -Okee dokee!-

  7. "Take care, little one!" Turrush waves as the little one left, and settled himself on the grass befor his aviary, watching his flock of little birds fly around. He'd need to visit his Trisk flights, soon. They still needed to be fed and he should work with a few of the younger ones on thier manners.

  8. Mavlin was out away from him farm land and home and also not on business for the council. Many would find it strange to see him out here but he was here with a goal. He traveled with a small bag of coins and also a few items that might be worth something in trade.

The new craze that seemed to be fairly nation wide was about Flitters. They seemed to be getting more popular as pets. They were also small and seemed fairly easy to raise. His own children had asked that he purchase some. So thatÂ’s what he was here for, he had heard there was a breeder in the area so he decided to check things out.

As he walked his eyes spotted a male sitting out in on the grass. He could hear the sounds of birds close by and could see a building he guessed where they were being kept. He walked up to the stranger.
<span style='color:brown'>“Excuse me sir, but are you the owner of that building there?"</span>

He spoke to the other male in a clear strong voice. Eyes scanning the building and then falling on the small box that was near the male. He took a guess that it also held some time of avian.

  9. "Yes I am. Name's Turrush, what Can I do for you?" He rose to his feet gracfully and extended his paw to the newcomer.

  10. Mavlin reached out and shook the paw of the breeder. <span style='color:brown'>“Malvin Jethro. I’m in the search of Flitters. I was hoping to could help me out."</span> He released the others male paw and let his own drop to his side.

His eyes stopped inspecting the building and surroundings and rested on Turrush. He seemed like a good fellow. It shouldnÂ’t be too hard to find a little bird here.

  11. "let me show you my Aviary. I just had a hen hatch a Clutch. I've still got two females avalible, one Mottled Red and White, the other Mottled Red on White Pieball." Turrush waved for the other to follow him as he headed towards the large outdoor cage. His hand pointed at one small section that was fenced sepratly. "All of my Pet Quality animals are in this section. The rest are feeders for my Trisk, which are kept in flights up by my cave. The little Albino is the father, and the red is in the nesting box back there."

  12. Mavlin nodded and followed Turrush towards the cage that held all the little flitters and listen to what he had to say. Being a farmer he new the terms he was using. When he heard that the albino was the father, that caught his attention. Albinos in any species were usually rare.
<span style='color:brown'>“I see. How long is it good to wait to remove the chicks from the hen? The pieball sounds interesting."</span>

He knew that with most creatures it could take time before you can separate and mother and there children. But if he couldnÂ’t get one of the chicks this soon he might ask about a breeding pair or just an older one.

  13. "the Pieball is yours, then, though she's worth a fair bit with the albino blood and all.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>They'll be ready to leave momma on the 12th. I'll throw up a 'Pick up your chick' thread then ;)</td></tr></table>

  14. Mavlin nodded, he was happy to here that he didnÂ’t have to work hard at this, he had prepared to do some smooth talking but it appeared that none was needed. He pulled the bag up in front of him.
<span style='color:brown'>“I’m happy to hear that. Should we talk about payment now or when I return for pickup?"</span>

Since he seemed to welling to give the female to him he wouldnÂ’t mind the wait. It might cost him a pretty penny but it would pay out in the end.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>IÂ’ve just been using coins for payment, but if that doesnÂ’t work IÂ’m sure I can think of something.</td></tr></table>

  15. "That's workable." Turrush nodded. "We can even negotiate price on pickup."

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Well.. according to the FAQ, there isn't a Currency, so to speak... I'm assuming you're talking etched or stamped pretty gold or silver coins, then...</td></tr></table>

  16. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Just sort of peeking in. ^^; There *are* currencies, there's just no real "official" currency, ie, Canadian dollar, American dollar, etc. So it's really up to Turrush as to what he accepts. :] Most pendragons just barter because it's easier, but some will accept different types of currency depending on how much trust they have in it. Gold/silver coins and whatnot would probably be okay.</td></tr></table>

  17. <span style='color:brown'>“Well it’s whatever works for you. On pick up I can bring in a animal if you breed other things you might be interested or I could even bring you a month supply of grains that you could feed to your birds."</span>

Mavlin never left the farm un prepared. He didnÂ’t mind this short of thing, he was used to talking, well really he enjoyed the sound of his own voice, but you can never make a deal with your self. There was a need of someone on the other side.

  18. "Flitter are Nectar drinkers, acctually." Turrush grined. "What do you grow in the way of flowers? a few deliveries of fresh flowers would cover it..."

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Note to new'ly interested people, all chicks from this clutch are homed now.</td></tr></table>

  19. Mavlin nodded.<span style='color:brown'>“Well I have some Tail-flames, but my wife is quite attached to them. I recently bought some Telbajgasul, cost me a few months wroth of grain, but I have found I can’t keep them. They prefer forest areas which I don’t have. I’m sure a few of those in good condition would suffice."</span>

He put his bag of coins back on his waste, it was always good to save money, as long as he didnÂ’t give away all his food for his stock. Finding out that they eat nectar was quite important, it would give him a chance to set of the cages before he got his.

  20. "A fair ammount of the flowers would do." Turrush nodded. "About a week untill they fledge, so I'll see you then."

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class=ooc><tr><td>Just so people know, I've already promised away all of the little ones (Between this thread, and possibly another)</td></tr></table>
