<span style='color:gold'>A flock of the large predator birds came flying in through the main enterance of the temple. They screeched and carried on as they flew around in a circling vortex over head. Then out of the vortex came a tall and rather dark complexed Anubi. He lifted himself up from the ground after the fall with one knee and looked about the hall slowly. He sighed softly and reached his hand up brushing it against his golden egyptian attire before proceeding inside without giving a glance or anything into the general direction of Hathor. It was none other than the Guardian of Light, Horus. "It has been centuries since I have attend anything such as this. What an honor it is to be seated with the best of the best once more. My brothers, sisters." He spoke casting his arm out giving a slight bow out of respect. He turned his godlen eyes finally onto Hathor and gazed upon her for a very short moment. He shifted his gaze away and moved towards an empty chair sitting himself down into it.</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Should I bring Kyofu into this? I apologize for continuing a pointless debate, but what I said still stands." Khepri murmured, fingers twining familiarly about Hedatet's insubstantial body. Normally one of the most neutral of the Guardians, possibally only rivalled by Amunet in that way, it seemed that, as usual, the koroshiya around his neck had managed to impress her own irritable mood upon him, leaving him feeling fall more agitated than was the norm. "Horus." Khepri said in leiu of a greeting, the smallest of nods being given to the Guardian of Light before he returned his gaze to nothingness, his smoke-gray eyes fixated on nothing in particular.
Dua shuddered as he walked in, feeling everyone's eyes drift to him as he entered. His eyes flicked to every gaurdian, as he slowly walked and secluded himself to a corner with a meek "<span style='color:teal'>Hi</span>" He knew thier stares were mostly from his arm, leg, and face. His arm make a small squeeking noise as he drew out a small handbook and began to scribble some stuff down.
Hathor turned and clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. "We are all here, therefore it is time for this meeting to begin!" She waved her hands and the tapestry of the plague spiraled into a door. The door was written in Anubian with the inital of each of the Guardians. She pushed it open, to the high priests there was nothing there, but to the Guardians there was Grander. It was a low flat table made of gold, and pillow arranged around it, each one heavily embroidered with designs representing each Guardian. There was a place for each and every one of them. The pillows were on what looked like a field of grass, surrounded by a stream that circled the raised platform that the pillows were on. There were trees on the other side of the stream, growing out of sand dunes. A wall surrounded the trees, this was heavily reliefed with the decisions of a lost era. It was simple yet grand, the food upon the table was fit for well, gods. Hathor smiled and said "Come in the stage is set, now is our time to play our part..."

He smirked and slipped his tongue along his lips lightly before heading of into the open chamber. He did little to admire the setting about the place or anything. He moved to the left side of the table and lowered himself down on one of the pillow seats. He leaned back onto his elbows and looked about the place for once and just got the feel of being outside once more, but that was it. Nothing else. He slipped his hand up along his forehead lightly and slipped his eyes closed relaxing, just waiting for the others to come and sit. Then the opening arguements that Seth usually protested at the beginning of every council meeting.</span>
Seth looked around and sighed at the overly dramatic entrance of Hathors bitch, or Horus as he was more formal known. Horus irritated him insanely yet that was only expected from his opposite, yet Seth liked his light. After all the shadows were always far darker when ever the light shone brighter. He wandered in aimlessness still very close to Nepthys however. "Hmmm, its been quite a while..." he mused quitely to himself as he re-acclimatised him self to the room and its decorations. he would have preferred it if it was more moon lit but that was his preference, the sun didnÂ’t quite agree with his ...complexion. And although it wasnÂ’t real it still made him uncomfortable, but although his cushion made him far more at home. He sat down in a relaxed semi seating pose and helped himself to one of the grapes on the table, softly crunching it into his mouth. He looked around curiously, more waiting to see how the others settled down. He more liked too watch and wait silently and observe the others mannerisms.

She smiled in Seth's direction as he gently squeezed her hand in comfort. Leva watched from his perch on the statue head, unsure of what was going on. This was the first time he'd ever been to such a gathering. With the arrival of the predator birds however, Leva acting like an angry and defensive cat- feathers and fur ruffled and hissing loudly, baring his sharp little teeth to all. Nephthys turned to his direction and he caught her looking at him and flew across the room to settle on her shoulder, looking curiously as the birds turned into Horus. Nephthys stroked his fur with her free hand, the other still linked with Seth. She dipped her head in greeting at his address before following through the door to the chamber. Her blue eyes swirled with the pendragon creatures and Leva rubbed his cheek against her's in comfort. She let go of Seth's hand in order to move to her place by his side on her own cushion. She sighed deeply, remembering long ago of the last meeting before it happened. Such sad times. Leva moved to settle himself in her lap as they waited for everyone else so the meeting could begin.
out of character ... damn. Sorry. Finals absolutely killed me for a while. x<; in character Shu regarded the Smoke Guardian with a smile, reaching a finger down to stroke the spine of one of his familiars. The predator made a vague sound in her throat as she leaned against him to show she recognized the gesture, before standing straight again. The Air Guardian nodded slowly, befoer looking at Khepri again. "They are always on edge, though the blood certainly doesn't help." He replied with a slight shrug of one slender shoulder. More Guardians came and, in the mass chaos of that and the arguing, went mostly ignored by the Air Guardian. While he was perfectly capable of fighting with the best of them, his initial gesture had been all he needed, after which his own tendancy toward being a dreamer came back. He observed, but did not speak, mostly filing away their games for later, that he might be amused at how easily they squabbled like children. Though some of it was intelligent, he admitted. Someone said the meeting was ready to begin, he believed it was Hathor, then they went into the room where they would recline for the duration of their time together. He walked in and sat down at his accustomed spot, the untamable Uncoctuas sitting on either side of him. The Air Guardian looked at the food on the table with one upturned eyebrow, then delicately picked up two pieces of cut meat, which he immedietely fed to his companions. He would eat off and on during the discussion, but he wasn't hungry right now. No, indeed, Antaios was eager for the talking to begin.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Okay DarkRuby, just post when you get the chance...we're going on without you...</td></tr></table> As everyone closed the doors Hathor motioned for everyone to sit. She sat on her own cushion that was embriodered with images of Cucu's on a black silk, along with the story of her rise to power. Amunet sat to Hathor's right, her cushion was white and much plainer then the rest, just the way she liked it. She reached for her wine glass, swirled the wine then took a sip, she then delicately placed it back down. After a few minutes Hathor raised her glass. <span style='color:red'>A toast! To the Anubi and the future to come.</span> After the proper clinking etc was preformed. She waited a few moments before starting to speak. <span style='color:red'>As you all may or may not know...The world outside the sands is changing. There is unrest, a stir has begun, powers are changing, and in this Chaos new powers may arise. I do belive that it is time that one of these powers is the Anubi.</span> She paused here a moment to let it sink in and the begining of her speech to sink in. <span style='color:red'>Now I know you may think this is breaking the tradition, but I much tired of dealing with the destruction of the old temples, annoying non-Anubi visitors, killing the mothers of Half-breeds. Just too much for me to care about, we could change that. We could start an uprising, a political cry for change. I have sent a representive to a clan of Takula and they said they would support us as they to have had issues with tresspasers and such. This means we now have physical strength with us, the Cunning of the Anubi, the Strength of the Takula, and maybe, if all goes as planned, the Yki will join us. Think of it, we would have more power then ever. There will probly be blood shed to please those of you who wish that, but there will also be peaceful parts for those of you who like it that way. Now is our chance to grasp power, each of us will have a part to play...Each of our specialties will be necisary for this reach for power. So who agrees with me? Or who would like to sit this one out...</span> Hathor stood up about half way thru her speech and then sat down as she made her last few remarks. She patiently waited for a retort from her audience. All she needed was their support, and then she could start a revolution that would bring more power then any of them thought possible.
Mmmm chaos, Seth loved chaos, the random power of it fuelled him onwards and gave his mind strength, it was basically what he was god of. He had to unbalanced the equation of stability and let chaos reign. Obviously it was never permanent, the equation kept getting balanced every so often. But with war loaming and some crazy plan on the way he was confidant of it happening again. Yet he was very disturbed of this idea of working with some of the most impure and disgusting races around. Both the Takula and the Yki where odd little sub breeds that could barely be called Pendragon. "<span style='color:purple'>Are you sure we can trust these Takula, they are savage and blood lusting. Normally I wouldnÂ’t have any qualms but you could hardly find a more impure creature. DonÂ’t get me wrong I am for this plan, but what do we need them for.</span>" He asked curiously, he had no idea what they could manipulate them to do except kill people. And only the old ones knew what she wanted the Yki for. Seth took a little sip from his blood red wine glass, food and such was really quite pointless for him considering his nature but he always relished the taste of fine food. He found it amusing that she mentioned killing the mothers of half breeds, it was common knowledge that she harboured half breeds. She even wanted one to become a high priest or something absurd, she was always up to little endeavours and such that broke their rules. Still not much they can do about it, she was calling the shots at the moment.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td> Holy crap. The yki as a whole would probably ignore any anubi >.> She's in for a surprise</td></tr></table> "I wish to, as you have so eloquently put it, 'sit this one out'." Khepri said softly, his expression as unreadable as ever. "We are the Anubian peoples, yet we are reduced to working with such berserker creatures as the Takula...? I wish to have no part of this." he continued, his voice lowering a fraction as his familiar hissed her own disapproval in her arcane, incomprehensible language. "However, if you explain your plan in detail, I may be swayed to join your cause." he added on as an after thought.
<span style='color:gold'>Horus turned his eyes into the direction of Seth and shook his head lightly. "Seth, you are no different from the Takula. Your a mindless blood thristy beast that's only purpose is to kill. But yet...the Council has come to trust you...even if that trust isn't much." Horus reached his hand over and took up his glass before drinking from it and placing it back down onto the table away from him. Just incase his opposite tries to kick the table or something in the matter to cause it to spill onto him. He smirked at Seth and looked back into the direction of Hathor before speaking again. "But...Seth and Khepri have both made good points. Is there really no other form of creature that would side with the Anubi people in this struggle of power?"</span>
Seth looked at Khepri, it sounded like a lovely, charming and extremely dull existence. What was the point of living for pretty much all of time if you were only going to watch things, it was far more interesting to poke your nose around. And especially where it wasnÂ’t wanted, seeing peoples reactions was one of the most amusing thing to past time. And speaking of which, Horus's behaviours was quite funny, if wasnÂ’t so pathetic. He was constantly showing a total lack of understanding of chaos, one of the reasons why he was such an idiot. Chaos wasnÂ’t about killing, in fact if you were very careful it didnÂ’t need to involve violence at all. Chaos was about Anarchy, and that only. People taking care of themselves and surving on their own, survival of the strongest and best. Unlike law and order which protected the weak and such, the way of the close fist was far more appealing. "<span style='color:purple'>Ah Horus, your manners really are appalling. If your going to act your age then please leave. And donÂ’t pretend you know what the council thinks, egotistical fools as just as popular as evil old me.</span>" He assumed that Horus had the mental capability to realise who he was talking about. Still he smiled, shaking his head as a puzzled look came over him. His gaze on the smirk on Horus's face, it made him look a bit squirrel like. Anyway he still needed a few questioned answer, waiting until Horus finished as well. "<span style='color:purple'>One more thing, will they actually be fighting or just showing their support for our cause.</span>" He asked once more, his satin black hands picking up his glass and taking a little sip.
<span style='color:gold'>Horus merely just smirked and shook his head before lowering his eyes down onto the table. What good was it to talk when a self absorbed bastard like Seth was to be there on the Council. He sighed softly and leaned back against his cushion just looking off into the direction of the wall without another word at all. But when the ball did drop, Seth would be the first to fall. He turned his eyes into the direction of Hathor for a moment and just gazed upon her without giving his opinion about anything. After all...he is just The guardian of Light anyhow. He slipped his eyes closed and just relaxed listening to the rest of the arguements.</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>This thread is so exciting that I could just shit!</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Ok, one minute no one posts then the same people post in quick succession?! Give us a chance please!! :S</td></tr></table> Nephthys listened carefully, drinking from her glass of red wine. Leva was curled up and falling asleep in her lap. Nephthys took a grape from off one of the small vine cluster on the table and placed it into her mouth, her ears pricked to attention. She wasn't sure whether she liked the sound of this at all. She was about to begin asking questions when Seth and Horus began bantering at each other. This annoyed her slightly. More than slightly. Her face could seriously been seen as a warning sign of that. Leva woke up at this and sat up to full attention, sending icy glares at Horus. Will you two cut it out? You are acting like immature little Nioti. Her voice was quite cold and cutting, aimed directly at her partner and Horus himself. Having soothed her temper somewhat, she turned to Hathor. I for one am against fighting Hathor, you know that. Yes, we as a people could rise up but I am currently not convinced this is in my favour so like Khepri, I too will 'sit this one out.' However, continue explaining the how, where and what's and I might be persuaded. One hand softly stroked Leva's fur as she reached for a grape and fed it to the familiar before taking a draught from her wine glass
Hathor smiled, she knew many would be against her...especially with her involvement with the other races. <span style='color:red'>I did know most would be against involving the Takula or any other race, but I have been observing the 'politics' of the majority of the world, and it seems the wider your demographic, the better your chances at succeeding. The Takula I am involving is Kaieta Ultima.</span> She held out her hand on the table and a hologram appeared as an image of Kaieta Ultima. <span style='color:red'>Her and her clan, severe purely as body guards, imposing creatures to show that we do have physical strength to back up our magical and political will power. If you do remember, the warrior part of our race is minute, there are not even enough to guard all the temples. Kaieta's clan is violent and does not tolerate trespassers...She also is in awe of our power, take for instace all of her tattoos, all of them are our symbols, she knows her place, and we can keep it that way.</span> She paused for a minute, and then continued. <span style='color:red'>The Yki are not as important, for that matter useful. If I don't get their support it will not bother me, nor do I think would it matter. I may not even ask them, it depends on how Kashiko feels about it. Which also comes to the point on why I have been having a few half-breeds around. Nekhalla was born powerful and an accident on my part. While Kashiko was a terror that needed to be controlled. Those are the only two half-breeds that have been allowed to live and be near me. They have proved their usefulness, and Nekhalla has made it as a replacement High Priest for Amunet if you do remember.</span> Hathor was slightly annoyed that the subject of Nekhalla and Kashiko had come up. She didn't like to talk about it much, but she had to in this occasion. It still perturbed her a great deal.
Seth was quite enjoying himself, the usually insults where raining high and the grand plans where being unfolded. So all in all the typical meeting of the guardians, he wasnÂ’t surprised though at how the "peaceful" ones where jumping out of this plan. It meant less obstruction on his domain then, war was his specialty. But it was fun to see Nephthys break up the fight, Horus had hurled the first insult but he had just finished it. He squeezed her hand lightly and grinned as the next few events unfolded, he felt like a child in a candy store. After all this meeting was just pure chaos, madness everywhere. In other words a great meeting. He was a little curious though as to what Hathor was yapping on about, it was true that they needed more warriors. He himself dealt with a lot of the things around his temples, that or his high priests but not every one did the same. He was however bemused at why she brought up her half breed muck, no one had asked about them. Unless of course she realised how controversial it was to have a half breed as a high priest, utterly mad. "<span style='color:purple'>Well IÂ’m in then, as long as they guard the boarders of the desert or us when we are out and about. Personally I despise the idea of them wandering around our deserts. But my services our at your command, just issue out the orders.</span>" he said in his agreement tone, his deep voice turning into its more obedient tone, like the Good little solider but he didnÂ’t have a massive choice, and with any luck they could bust some heads.
Wepwawet hadn’t been paying much attention and had dozed off after drinking three…or four cups of the rich red wine. But now what Hathor had said, that was interesting…help from outsiders? Wepwawet was just as appalled as the next full blood Anubi, but possibly just to piss the others off she meekly raised her head and offered her support to Hathor. <span style='color:blue'>“Well I must admit I’d never thought I’d see the day when…Us the pure blooded… But I mean… well… Really if your confident about this plan of yours…. I’d be willing to offer my support in any way." </span> Her words were slightly slurred, but her mind was as sharp as ever. She raised a paw and poured herself a goblet of water.<span style='color:blue'> “They power we might gain…" “It would be stupid not to try." </span> [OOC]Did something happen to this thread?))
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry to ignore the order but its either that or let the thread die.</td></tr></table> Seth looked curiously at Hathor, she was playing a dangerous game bringing these lizards into the desert. They might be able to control one but he was fairly sure a few Anubi might get eaten. Well it was on her head anyway, he had all the guards he needed yet the others were not all so fortunate. "Well looks like we are mostly all in, what is the first course of action." He said as his hand placed down his goblet with a click of gold on marble. The idea still bugged him, but if their grand leader wanted scaled monstrosities running around her part of the desert so be it. He was looking forward to venturing forth. His whole being yearned for war and destruction, and his army craved for a chance to be used. His time had come again at last, war was his domain. Even an invisible war was his territory, none could deny this.
