Diable's reaction shocked Nub. He had intended on being rude, true enough, but towards the 'fly', not towards him. In normal times, he might have tried to put on a show and act big and tough, but he knew that his opponent was bigger and tougher than he'd ever be. Getting into a fight with this guy would be equivalent to commiting suicide. And Nubajek wasn't ready to die yet. He had to get himself out of this, somehow, and quick. Lowering his head slightly, and open act of submission, he approached the stranger. He winced as his hurt paw made contact with the hard and cold concrete. The pain !!! He thought, as he walked. If only he had paid attention in Healing Class... Ironically, Kuentin happened to be the best pupil in Healing class, like in many others, and, though he was Nub's age, was already and apprentice... Don't think about that stuck up git.. Still lowering his eyes, he muttered what he thought was fit to be an apology. Yeah, I got that. Look, I wasn't trying to be rude of any, but this Fly here, well, she got me pissed, ok, and I was angry. Okay? I'm sorry. He then turned his head to give the Ranger a venomous look, before turning to face the other 'dragon, looking him in the eye.
Diable laughed malevolently. He single-handedly pushed at Nub's shoulder with a fair amount of force jokingly. "I was just messin' with ya," he said convincingly, even though he wasn't serious. He then looked back at his wings and sighed as they unravelled noisily. "Ugh..I need to stretch these babies here..." He passed around Nub boredly and headed for the exit. This place was definitely overrated. His wings dragged at the ground. They were high-maintenance, heavy and an inconvenience at times, but Diable kept those thoughts out of his head, and told himself they were a blessing. But he couldn't help but get frustrated sometimes...
Hexa yawned as she remained where she was, mouthing Nub's words and mocking his every action. His venomous glare was met with a fleshy, pink, tongue, and she chuckled and clutched the rafter, otherwise silent as the two continued to converse and one mentioned something about his wings. Ah, so they were chums now, eh? Hexa Notalus twitched and raised a wary eyebrow, eagerly craning her neck downwards yet still gripping firmly on the wooden support. You just couldn't trust anyone these days, she thought absently.
He quietly padded through the exit, checking both ways before entering. If someone was to see him getting out of there, he'd be in deep thes. And Diable was gone, as the last flame disappeared behind the closing doors. ooC: Mods, close this thread. It's dead. O_o;
