1. Vincent looked to his companions with a smile. "We're here," he said, leading them into a huge cavern area. The Three of its four walls were lined with bookcases, the fourth a rack of tail weapons and such. In one corner there was a large bed, which he set the sleeping one on. There were two other chairs, and a small cool area.

"Make yourselves at home here," Vincent said, giving them all a nod. "My place is yours. This is also a good time to figure out where we go from here, that is if you still want to come."

  2. "Wow..."Emmy gasped silently as she entered the cave. She didn't think she had ever seen so many books and scrolls before. Well, of course, there was the library at Janardan. But this was quite different. She came closer to take a better look. Emmy loved reading almost as much as learning, her friends called her a book worm.

She lifted her head as Vincent spoke and her eyes widened as she took in what he was saying. Where we will go from here? He must be speaking to the oth... Kae. That must be it. Because I'm not going anywhere... Am I? No... I couldn't possibly... Anyway, he wasn't talking to me. But it was too late, a part of her mind was now telling her that she should grow up, that she wasn't a niotie anymore and that an adventure would do her some good. She remembered the countless adventure books she had read, about brave pendragons doing great things... As though I could ever become a 'great pendragon' she thought, laughing at herself.

  3. Vincent smiled at Emmy's fascination with his library. "I've gathered them from my travels. Feel free to browse though them if you like. As I said, while you are here this place is your place" He finds himself a spot a corner to sit and relax for a moment, hoping that he had not picked up any forbidden books or things of that sort. He had been traveling so long, he'd forgotten what all was in those shelves now.

  4. Emmy smiled as she studied the different book covers. She couldn't believe it. There were so many, and they all came from places unknown to her, from far and distant lands. Emmy had never travelled out of Swaraj, and her only way of discovering the rest of Ramath-Lehi, up to now, had been through adventure books. Trilok and Dhruv and their frozen lands... Notios Sudesha and it's deserts... The forgotten ruins of Boreios Sudhesha.... The floating isle of Ajita... So many exciting places, so many places she had always wanted to visit, so many places she had thought she would never be able to see.

Her attention was caught by one book in particular. It was the size of a fairly large diary, and had a rather worn out green leather cover with silver inscriptions on the side. Ramathian she thought, trying to decipher the writings. I knew I should have taken Ramathian classes... It didn't look very different from the others - it was quite ordinary really. Not the thickest, not the thinest,. Yet, she had the urge to reach out and gently take it out of the shelf to have a closer look. She turn to face Vincent, and asked:
    - What is this?

OOC: I just thought that might make an interesting start for our 'adventure'. Do whatever you want with the book though [IMG].

  5. Vincent walked over towards the book, and his brow went up. "I... this book is not supposed to be here," he said shaking his head. "I returned it MYSELF to Boreios Sudhesha unless..." He snarled with himself.

"How could he? I..." He stopped, loooking to the others. "Oh sorry. Some time ago myself a friend traveled to those ruins. I told him, do not take anything that looks to be protected. This book was well gaurded... held in the hands of a golden statue even! I thought he'd know better... and I guess this must have been what killed him."

"I have to return it... it has a very powerful curse upon it. It does me no good, my friend was the only one I knew who could read Ramathian." Vincent meanwhile shook his head.

'All of this over a book my friend?' he asked himself. 'What was in there?'
