Once they all entered the lift, it began to make a screeching sound as it slid up the shaft. The group seemed a tad uneasy about being in this building. Trips here became common, but this place was still creapy as they came. The screeching of the elevator game to a grinding halt as they were now on the third floor. The corrador that made up the floor was long and dark. There were about ten rooms that were visable probly more in the darkness of the far end of the hall. They made their way to room 271 were Ermon's "friend" resided. Ermon knocked on the door twice, foot steps echoed through the halls getting louder and louder. The door squeaked open and revealed an Anubi. Hay, my brother is getting ready please take a seat on the couch. The young thill said motioning her arms to come in. Thank you Lenai. The couch was worn and smelt of booze and smoke.
After following Ermontil to this room, he realized it smelled, bad. Not just bad but worse than bad, what has died in here, Nenek thought. But Nenek sucked it up and went towards the couch, he needed to sit down. The smell was like a punch to the face, and it was getting worse! Whoever this is needs to get out here, it was difficult to get a clear thought with this smell. Ermontil do you really thing this guy will help us?
Risust almost stumbled into the apartment, in a stupor created by the false effects of the opiate feeling running through his veins. In fact it almost was a better feeling than when he normally took the opiate, and he had to say as long as there weren't any side effects he could get use to taking the opiate in this way. He stumbled towards the couch and feel down heavily on it, looking both ways to survey the room. He say nothing interesting, just the average looks of life in the city. His eyes were glassy as he brought his head back around and he almost felt like going to sleep, but he looked up at Ermontill expectantly.
Sy hoped she had not over done the healing in relieving the symptoms of addiction in Risust as she watched him sit down. She would not sit here though this whole place sung of danger and there was no way out. Syleika felt like a caged creature and her spines bristled. Still she knew she must remain calm, soon things would be properly explained to her by Nenek. Soon. She need only wait and she was good at that.
They sat for about five minutes, Ermon could hear the commotion of Sarunus getting ready coming from the bedroom in a short hall way on the other side of the living room. Sorry about the mess my brother hasn't really kept the place tidy, here recently. Said the thill. Then the door leading towards Sarunus's bedroom opened, revealing the pitch black pendragon with a patch over his eye and an assault rifle slung over his shoulder. He was wearing a bandoleer over his chest, a wife beater tank top, and a pair of cargo pants. He seemed to be holding the rifle on his shoulder and in his right hand. He walked into the room and joined the 'dragons, turning to them with one hand behind his back. He looked over to Ermon and he said, "So Ermon, whats this I hear about you getting some help to take down Avion." Ermontil got up and held his hand out for the dragon, "Yep you heard right my friend, and we need your help." Sarunus smiled, looking at the sharply dressed 'dragon. He began to give out a hearty laugh and then he quickly grapped the dragon's hand and began to shake it. "I'm your man." Said Sarunus.
Oh my god, this place smelt horrible! Nenek was going to kill Emontil for making him got through this stench. And that new guy, how useful could he possibly be? We already had an insane guy, do we need another? But still who was Evaion? Nenek still did not know who this was.
Risust looked up at the guy who just walked in, with a small smile creeping onto his face. He turned his head and stared at the new guy, the same glassy look in his eyes. In the back of his mind he was thinking, So this is the guy I wanted to see. Why did I want to see him though? Ah, who cares. He decided to just let things work themselves out.
Sy watched the new one and tried to listen to his words. She did not understand but knew he was talking to Ermon and by the sound of voice and greeting he was known and possibly trusted by Ermon too. Now perhaps they could talk about what they were going to do and then there might be something she could understand action! Sy was feeling both trapped and excited an odd combination that made her blood sing and her mind race. Any lagging effects of the healing she had done (it always made her tired) were ebbing away with the tension she felt and the possiblity of fight in the near future. [ooc]I worked unexpectedly Sorry for the delay of post[/ooc]
Everyone in the room seemed a bit quiet except Sarunus and himself. So how have you been, how is you family doing. Sarunus began to laugh loudly... and he would not stop. He fell on the ground and curled up, his laughs turning to sobs. Lenai walked into the room and stopped at the other end of the couch her ears going down. That was a bad question. Lenai was now kneeling next to her brother. Shhhh... its ok brother, its ok. Well this was pretty... tame, or at least in comparison to what could have happened. Ermon thought. Ever since that ordeal with his father Sarunus has been a emotional storm. *sniff* Lenai... I...*sniff*
Oh great another sobbing mass, Nenek thought to himself, this apparently has no positive outcome, so why are we here? Nenek only had one option now, wait and see. But still this guy is unstable too, we already had one psychopath. Nenek wondered what the other two thought of this guy so he simply asked. [takola] Sy what is your opinion on this one, he certainly seems powerful, but also more unstable than Risust. [/takola]
Well thats interesting. Wait...no its not. That doesn't effect me at all, thought Risust. Then he stopped thinking for a while and continued to sit, a smile on his face looking dumbfounded. [ooc]I did not want to post a reply so short but SOMEBODY pushed me against my will.[/ooc]
Sy was not sure what to think about this dark hulk of a creature. Emotions were annoying things that sometimes one could not control. She was now feeling a little awkward and that made her angry at herself. She nodded at Nenek what he had said sounded good but she was not so sure about the last bit regarding Risust for some reason beyond her fathoming Sy liked the takula male, perhaps something subliminal had been shared with the healing? She did not know but she was glad Risust seemed to be feeling better. [takola] I don’t rightly know, it is too soon to tell how this one will serve a battle plan [/takola] [ooc]If you don't want to post or think your character can not contribute all that well would it be ok to ooc pass this post turn to the next in the order?[/ooc]
Sarunus suddenly grew quiet and after a few seconds lifted his head up *sniff*... Lenai... we need to talk later *sniff*. He raised himself up regaining his composer. Of coarse brother when ever Lenai responded walking towards the kitchen. Sarunus was silent, so silent you couldn't even hear the 'dragon's breath. He eyed Ermon for a few seconds. Ill tell you about that later... its a long story *sniff*... ALRIGHT! im good. Ok now Aviaon is a tricky bastard and we will need to be prepared, thats were I come in. why dont we go ahead and get started, first we must pull out... the stash.. You still have those? Surprising, They should have been sold off for booze a long time ago. Sarunus walked back into the dark corridor from which he came. After a few minutes of searching Sarunus walked from the shadow dragging a long case the clinked and clattered as he moved it. A smile grew on Ermon's face as Sarunus unlock both locks on the large case.BEHOLD! Sarunus said with glee as he opened the case only to reveal a few low quality hand guns, a sports rifle, a disassembled auto pistol, and a rusty combat knife. It was probably the saddest armament on the face of Ramath-lehi. Sarunus... you have to be kidding me.
(ooc: sorry my computer died [A virus got into the boot-up data], but I'm back with fire in my belly!) Nenek was now angry but had a plan. Only a few guns and only five of us, sounds... difficult to say the least. But still a man will work with what he has. So we have to get two miles into his territory with guns beating down out throats? We need to build an arbalest! But that's straight foward, so we could hit him where it hurts and get him to personally come after us and lure him into a trap, so he might not come. A third option would to place a distaction big enough to focus his main force away from his perch and have a small strike-force eliminate him, but that would be risky for the distaction team. There is also the sewers... Nenek still was working on extraction for that plan. Nenek was also worried for himself, two of those plans would put him right into the fire. To steady his nerves he reached into his pocket and retrived an orange Kayo nut and proceded to pop it in hi mouth, the sweetness was always refreshing to him.
A silly man dropped some guns on the floor. Amazing. Risust looked over the collection of fire arms and other assorted weapons, his eyes gleaming at possibilities. He dropped to the ground, falling onto the collection. He picked up one of the hand guns, his hands moving over it, happy to see such a collection. He pointed it toward the ceiling, admiring it, even admired the sound of it going off in the ceiling. While the gun was still smoking from the recently fired round he put it down and took his place back on the couch.
The loud bang of the gun made Sy instantly cloak herself and ready her tail blade. She waited until Risust had seated himself again before moving to inspect the dagger, though rusty it still held a keen edge and would serve her much better than the weird, loud weapons these ‘dragons seemed to favour so. As soon as Syleika took hold of the dagger it vanished as she was still cloaked in camouflage. She wondered what the plan would be and how it would be decided with so many of them trying to pose an idea for attack. She hoped Nenek would let her know what important things were said. She would prefer to scout the area and learn more about this enemy for herself than sit here in this hole of a room for much longer. Still she told herself to wait and stay calm. In the jungle there was not so many loud weapons like these they used more old style weaponry for the fights and war-games though Sy had never participated she had several times snuck in to watch and practised the moves when she was alone. She smiled thinking how she had trained herself and how nice it would be to walk into that arena as a proud combatant and win showing them all she was no less a woman or fighter because of her wings.
Sarunus crossed his arms and raised a brow at Ermontil. Listen, this is what I have left when you are paying rent and keeping food on your table without a job you would to understand. Sarunus said with a care free almost sarcastic tone. Ermon said nothing, he just continued to glare at Sarunus. This glare was broken by the loud discharge of the weapon. Ermon jumped in surprize and stared at the Takula on the ground. DAMNIT! what the hell are you thinking! Sarunus looked at the ceiling. What was that? Please dont fire thouse things in here brother you know how much I hate guns. Linai said down the small corrador. Sarunus quickly snatched up the pistol from Riust. Yes, the sewers is a sound plan we can simply just sneak up from under him.
But getting out seems... troublesome, the sewage pipes only get us in, if we try to swim in sewage upstream... is... fatal. So I believe the only option of escape is flight, but we would be open season. Unless... we detonate the bottom floor of the building and then escape, that would distract everyone in the building. Then Nenek got to thinking, either him or Risust would be the one that has to detonate that bomb, maybe the new guy could. Still no one has answered me when I asked why are we wanting to kill this guy. I came in late to that fight, I have his pistol but still who is this guy. Nenek also reassembled the auto pistol, checked the cartridge, and put the safety on. [Takola]Syleika, the battle is coming soon, you may need more than a dagger, is your bow tuned?[/Takola] Now Nenek was thinking about how to make an IED big enough for the job.
Risust found himself quite content sitting on the couch, as other 'dragons spoke and went about there business. He looked down, looking at his hands, the only thought in his mind was how his hands looked. They looked very real. In the back of his mind a voice spoke. None of this is real. He quickly looked up, wait what was that? Then it hit again. None of this is real, you are not really enjoying yourself. In fact this is a lie, snap out of it. "I have an idea. I know the guy, I owe him money, I can get in close. Let me get in close. In fact you guys could pretend to be bringing me in, last time I checked he had a bounty on MY head. As such, you guys could be collecting, also get in close. Then, BAM! He is nothing but a husk. A dead man. We can do that." He was back.
Sy almost laughed at the big dragon. ‘Was her bow tuned?’ She thought about demonstrating how well she could shoot any given target but lacked something good to shoot at and things around here might bend her arrows and she had only a few decent tips left from practise on small rodents in the alleyways. Her stomach growled at the thought of her latest intended meal which had once shot smelt bad and been thrown away. Risust. She glanced over to the male Tekula and frowned, she laid a hand on his shoulder very lightly to gain meaning of his words and although she did not want him to get hurt it seemed he might be. Risust’s plan did appeal to her though; get in close with fairly minim work and risk. She could use her camouflage and strike this alpha male with her dagger or tail-blade or shoot him from a distance before any of them knew she was there. However the moment she acted she would be seen as she could not keep the cloak up for long with out concentrating on it.
