Morichai nodded feebly, the blood running freely down from her neck onto her torso, she would deal with shadow first, then herself. she thought as she went to see shadow, he was burned all over, Luckily he would heal in a couple of hours with his increased healing rate, she smoothed a salve over the worst parts and went back into the master room, tying a white cloth around her neck to stanch the blood for the moment and continued to nurse azulu, checking on Vanula every moment or so, she continued even though the white cloth turned red and continued to flow down her neck, she tucked azulu into Shadows bed and pulled up the covers on vanula before going back to her seat to sleep for now...she looked over one last time to Vanula thankyou... she whispered and promply fell asleep
A couple hours went past, and Vanula fluttered his eyes open. He yawned and stretched out his legs. He set some tea on the kettle and prepared breakfast. I hope everybody likes eggs... The yellow mush sizzled in the pan, and Vanula flipped them over and set the on a dish, He made about 10 eggs, and filled four cups with hot tea. He than slipped outside, this time with a dagger. He lit up his pipe and puffed out white smoke. It was mid afternoon and the city was busy now, 'dragons going here and there on errands. He peered down in the alley. A couple 'dragons had gathered in a circle, confused about the small smears of blood. Vanula laughed softly, and than coughed. He emptied his pipe and stuffed it into his vest pocket, than he jumped over the edge. He decided not to wander far, but just take a stroll. He was flustered with merchants stuffing items in his face, and yelling out to customers. It was warm out, and the breeze cooled Vanula off. He decided to go back up to the room. Everybody was still asleep. He decided to help Morichai out and help with Shadow and Azulu. He tended to Shadow first, and check his burns. They all seemed to be gone, and so Vanula continued on to Azulu. She was fast asleep, and snoring quietly. He took a damp cloth and wiped her face with it. Her fever was still there, and her forehead was hot. Vanula tiptoed out into the living room and studied Morichai's wound. He removed the old gauze from her next and wrapped a new one on. He layed a blanket over her and than he was done. Vanula ambled to the empty chair and took out his book. He hadn't read for days, and lost his page. He decided to start over. He nibbled on his eggs and for once, everything was quiet.
shadow began to wake, groaning, he went through to the living room, vanula was reading, hey....sorry about last night...umm... he paused how is she...do you know? he stood waiting for an answer, or a telling off one of the two... Out of Character

wheres blue heart of scars? *sniffs* i miss her :puppy:

Out of Character

 Where are you?? :puppy:

Vanula looked up from his reading. Shadow was looking tired and all his fur was frizzy. Vanula didn't know what to say. He apologized and asked about Morichai. I've been changing the gauze, but the wound looks fine as of right now He pointed to the cloth wrapped around her neck. Don't worry about it, I mean it wasn't your fault, well....it was....but....nevermind He held up a dish of cold eggs from that morning. Made them meyself He placed them on the counter and sat back on the chair, engrossing himself into the book again.
shadow looked down, thanks for helping her....i dont know what i'd do without her, he went over to her putting his hand gently to her face i'll put her to bed now.... he scooped her up in his arms and walked into the spare room and came out a moment later, so..how are you feeling after last night, do you want anything else to eat, drink?
Vanula looked up from his book and smiled. No...no thankyou, Im still full from breakfast Shadow sat down on the couch and burried his face in his arms. Tell me more about yourself, Shadow, We really haven't had the chance to Out of Character

Short posttt...

shadow looked up, me? i dont really know what to say, my past was well not good, i was born a vampire you see...a pure breed so i dont know whats its like to be mortal as such, i left the clan, found morichai, and she helped me become social and made me the guy i am today, nothing else really, what about you? shadow relaxed a bit, even managing a thin smile.
Veaji was having a leisurely stroll in the market. She'd managed to untangle herself from the massive amount of traders that hollered their items to passing potential customers. She'd gone into a more quieter zone, well, quieter than the one she was dwelling in anyway, and tried to take her time. No rush. She has got all the time in the world. It wasn't her first time being in the Bhim Market. She'd no idea why she liked coming back to this place so much. It's not like she'd any good memories here. But perhaps it was the noise. It somehow manages to drive away her ever growing loneliness. She reached an alley and noticed a crowd had formed. It was steadily growing bigger. Curious, since she had nothing better to do, she decided to go see what was happening. Maybe a fight? A little part inside of her wished. She weaved through the crowd, ignoring wolf whistles as she passed a couple of perverts. Finally she got to the center. Dried blood that used to be a puddle was splattered all over the concrete floor. In the midst of that, a lady pendragon was crying her eyes out. A fellow male next to her was trying to calm her down. Just then, she turned and her eyes locked unto Veaji. Her face hold utter horror, fear and loathing. Veaji couldn't help thinking that the woman looked oddly familiar... You! the woman managed to choke out. She pointed a finger at Veaji and turned to her partner. There, Tal, that girl! She must be responsible for his death! Then Veaji remembered. It was the bartender's wife. The bartender who worked at a couple of blocks down and was so freakingly annoying. What?! Who's death? Veaji exclaimed, completely puzzled with a frown on her face. Suddenly, her wish for a fight didn't seem welcoming now. The woman was too striken with grief to reply so her partner sounded instead, Don't play dumb, girl. You know what happened to the bartender. You killed him! Veaji looked at the man with disbelief. What in the world was he talking about? Why are you accusing me of something I didn't do? I wasn't even here before this morning! Veaji said. She noticed that she was shouting and clenching her fist in order to stop from attacking the guy. And why of all days did she decide to abandon her sword at home? Lucky thing her gun was still with her. Then who else would do this? You don't exactly have a clean record in Bhim. We all here know that you're the one responsible for the many deaths that happened here before! The man narrowed his eyes at her as he spoke. Now the part about being responsible for past deaths were true but she defienately wasn't responsible for the late bartender's death. By then, the crowd had started to stir. Some gave her evil looks while others quickly ran away, not wanting to be killed if there was a fight coming up. "I say we kill her!" someone from the crowd shouted. The other pendragons' responds were an ominous 'yes!' and 5 of them pulled out their own weapons. Those who were too cowardly just stood by the sideline and cheered. The grieving woman finally gained enough composure to shout an angry, Finsih her, Tal! And they all moved in for the kill. Out of Character

I am so very sorry for the long post... But I had to get this outta my head!

Out of Character

hey kuts cool post!!!!!!!

Shadows ears pricked up as he heard a chant outside, Vanula...i think somethings going on outside Shadow walked to the side window looking out to the crowd below ...shit, vanula... i think i've drawn attention to the "accident" look... Vanula looked up and walked towards the window fuck!... shadow shouted making Vanula jump. That girl! the crowd, they must think it she did it or something... and as if on cue he heard someone shout "i say we kill her" sorry for what im about to do Vanula... he took a breath as he focused on transforming, he gave last look at him as his wings tore out through his back replacing his feathery wonders, Morichai! he roared get out of here and take Azulu with you! morichai ran in nodded, and he knew within a few minutes she'd be gone. he looked over to Vanula again, i did this i have to save her, we cant stay in this flat any longer... and with that he smashed through the window landing in front of Veaji he was truly a horrifying sight to most normal people a few screaming as he bared his teeth at them. sorry bout this... he telepathed to Veaji i did this and you got the blame, run into the flat i came out of, call for vanula, i'll hold them off... he swished his tail as the last word left his mind, he jumped into the crowd ripping an arm off of a 'dragon who had tried to grab Veaji, I AM WHO YOU SEEK! he roared I KILLED THEM! the crowd gasped and a chorus of anger washed over the them, Vanula get the girl out of here will you? i'll catch up telepath me to tell me where you are. they'll come after you too....i'm really sorry bout all this...
There was chaos and panic. Vanula ran into the bedroom and took Azulu from the bed. He ran out the back door, and sprinted down the stairs. Damn, he had wished he had wings, but he still paced himself down alleyways. Shadow, don't worry Ill be there in a second Vanula came to a bar with barely anybody at it. He set Azulu down on a chair and kissed her on her head. Im coming Shadow He focused on Morichai and tried to speak to her Shes down by the bar...shes safe...Vanula leaped up onto a ledge and swung across a clothes line to the main street. A large crowd had gathered now, and there was lots of yelling. Vanula barged through the crowd and stood behind 5 armed dragons. Shadow was transformed and a female stood ready. Vanula drew his dagger and jumped up on the males back, sliting its throat and biting its shoulder. Vanula rolled over and stood next to Shadow. Lets show these fucks how we are! Vanula took fire from his tail and concentrated to spread it out. He had a barrier of flame surrounding him now, and his eyes were closed. Lets kill these sons of bitches!
Shadow nodded and threw himself into the crowd, tearing 'dragons apart, he chanted in his form making his tail flame a red hot weapon, burning through the flesh of many. behind him someone threw a dagger into this back causing him to howl in agony az the blood spurted everywhere. the pain made him lose control. the beast took the culprit and threw him onto a wall, making a guesture, he caused diamond shards to pin the 'dragon to the wall, he would deal with him personally after this was over... <--------------------------------------> Morichai stumbles as she ran to wher vanula had taken Azulu, sweetheart, im going to take you home... she propped azulu onto her back and used rope to tie azulu onto herself she spread out her huge wings and slowly made her way out of here vanula, shadow i'm taking Azulu home its not safe for her...call if you need me, goodluck...
Someone grabbed her and she was about to put her foot into his gut when a flying object came and tore the offender away. The object was actually a horrifying looking vampire that any faint hearted being could just faint at the sight of him. He had telepathed to her as he fought. What? And let you have all the fun? she telepathed back to him as adrenaline start pumping into her veins. Someone grabbed her from behind and she flipped the offender over her and unto his back. Another 'dragon had joined in the fight but it looks as if it was the vampire's friend. The bartender's wife had already stopped crying. Her glare at Veaji was deathly as she conjured up a spell, her lips moving in a rhythm. Then balls of fire were in the air. They were flying towards Shadow, Vanula and Veaji. Veaji dodged one and immediately conjured a barrier spell around her. So now you want to play with magic? I can do that! Veaji said while smiling. Despite the danger and the ridicule of it all, she was actually enjoying this. You needn't feel guilty about this, stranger. I can use a few exercise. she telepathed to the two heroes. She uttered a spell and sharp jagged ice appeared. It swung around and pierced its victims right in the heart. More blood filled the floor and splattered on Veaji's coat. Several people from the crowd ran for their life and some others took out their own weapons to join in the fray. The male who'd consoled the bartender's wife grabbed Shadow by the neck and started choking him. I don't care if you're a vampire. And I'll make sure you'll pay for my brother's death! With that, he tried to bash Shadow's head on the hard brick wall.
Shadows' head hit the wall with a sickening crunch, his beast form let out a ear peircing shriek, making some of the crowd hold their heads in pain, he felt the 'dragons hands let go of his neck. his eyes opened as he gasped for breath he transformed into his bipedal form making a few of the 'dragons look confused, he stood up and conjoured his sword, his sword was a massive five foot blade fading from a deep purple to a shining white at the tip, a white aura emitted from it, if he chose it would burn any 'dragon sensless as he had enchanted it from the day he began sorcery. heh...glad you dont mind, i'm Shadow by the way, nice to see you alive he replied telepathically as he slashed through the guy whao had tried to choke him. the stench of burning flesh soared through the air making even shadow choke Vanula, stranger, we have to get outa here, way to many for us to handle, theres over a hundred 'dragons! he telepathed this to them just as a healer joined the fight chanting a revive spell towards shadow, he looked round sensing a spell directed to him. Shadow yelled GET THE HEALER! that spell would kill him or if he was lucky render him paralysed that healer can kill me with his spells, they're harmful to a vampire! he shouted into vanulas' and Veajis' head i cant get to him in time, with or without a spell
Vanula was almost having fun ripping them apart. He aimed toward the healer and leapt, disrupting his spell and sending his body to the ground. Shadow was talking to him through telepathy. Yes, you are right, it is getting risky. We will finish this horde and than flee. I have a home in Swaraj He told the same to Veaji through telepathy and resumed fighting. He drew his pistol from his boot and held it up to the crowd. He fired about 5 bullets before the crowd dispersed. Vanula didn’t see a fist coming to his face. It hit him hard, but he stood straight and pistol whipped the dragon across the face, as he feel down to the ground with a thud. Vanula held the pistol to its head, and fired, sending a spray of blood on the ground. He grinned, and chased away some of the remaining ‘dragons, shooting rapidly, sending crippled bodies spinning to the ground, gasping for breath. He ran out of bullets, and shoved the pistol back in his boot. He licked his lip, and tasted blood. The street was deserted, but there would be a large crowd coming soon. Shadow, we need to leave, now! Vanula turned around and faced Veaji. Vanula could not fly out, since he had no wings. Shadow, I need to... It sounded stupid. I need to ride you Shadow started to chuckle, but Vanula kept a straight face. They both were dirty and bloody, bruised and hurt, and Vanula wasn’t in the mood to face another horde of ‘dragons. He began to slip bullets into his revolver, one by one, until he cocked it back. He sighed and spat a wad of blood on the ground. He wanted to stay in Bhim, but he knew it was not safe. Shadow, go get anything that you need in your room or that is important to you. I’m afraid that they will soon find your apartment and ransack it He looked to Veaji By the way, my name is Vanula, son of Hakkur The Willing, at your service my lady Vanula tried to seem polite when he bowed to her. I just hope nobody follows us. I am not willing to put my neighbors and my brother in risk. I would rather die than to see that The sun set lazily over the horizon and a soft wind blew by...
Veaji was right about to put a hole in the healer but it seems Vanula had already beaten her to it. She stopped casting spells. Already, she was feeling a little tired from her little sorcery act. And the crowd was growing. She swiped out her gun, punched down someone who was waving a pathetic stick in front of her face, and scaned the chaos for the bartender's wife. Where was that woman? Glad to meet both you strangers. Yes, we must hurry and go. If my teleportation trades were in higher level, I would be able to transport both of you. she telepathed to both of them while she shot two pendragons right in their heads. But I'm afraid my level gives me very little power. Just enough for me to teleport. And there she was. Veaji spotted the woman hiding behind to bulky pendragons. She was still casting spell after spell after spell. Big fireballs kept shooting forth and Veaji loss count the number of times she ducked them. She aimed her gun and took a shot. The shot wasn't deadly. The bullet had only buried itself in the fleshy part of the woman's leg. The woman gave an anguish cry. Two samaritans came and carried her out of the fray. Veaji wanted to take another shot but a punch in the gut sent her down. She looked up to see her attacker hovering above her with the sharp end of a stick aimed at her heart. He brought it down but the stick struck and invisible force field. Outraged, he tried again and again to break through the force field. You fool. Veaji thought, raised her gun and shot the last bullet into the attackers head. Where in Swaraj do you stay? The crowd's growing and we need to move fast. There isn't time to go back to any apartment but move now! she telepathed to both males and got up. The alley was now packed with lifeless bodies and outraged 'dragons.
Vanula nodded. They couldn't lose any more time. Forget what I said. We can't fly, its too risky. They will see us. We go by foot. Through the woods to Swaraj. I have a small cottage on the Magi Lake. Come now, we must go! Vanula scanned the area. An opening, not the main gates. The alleyways, shaded, narrow, enclosed. Yes, the afternoon sun shone above, and Vanula took off. Come on, I know how to get out He ran through alleyways, and across streets, through groups of dragons, and away from the city. Vanula had taken the path out of Bhim which he took to get in. It was a long and slender dirt path, with vine trelis and trees overseeing them as they escaped. After a long run, the forest enclosed them, and soon, the dragons, bartenders, and merchants were off to the distance. Vanula sighed and sat by a near tree trunk, followed by Veaji and Shadow. He let out a deep breath and leaned back. He dug into his pocket and revealed a compass. Thank the gods! He looked into it, but was disatisfyed. He tapped the lens, but the compass was stuck in place. Shit!!! Vanula threw the compass at a nearby, making it break off into pieces. He grunted and shot up, overlooking the two of them. What are we going to do now? Vanula was longing to go home, and missed his brother dearly...
Out of Character

i back still bit.......icky though! :D

Shadow looked guiltily at him, sorry, this is my fault, if i had cleaned up the place better....[COLOR] he quickly changed the subject do you want me to fly out and have a look they wont see us i dont think, i could cast an invisibility spell! that could work! what'da think? she swished his tail impatently he , has an increasing anxious feeling in his stomach and he wasn't sure why...
Vanula's eyes looked up at Shadow. This isn't an exciting camping trip you son of a... Yea that sounds great Shadow, but just in case... Vanula wrapped his fingers around his gun and softly placed it into Shadows hands. Vanula knew these woods quite well, but not good enough. He also knew what crept around through the bushes...Vanula propped his chin on his hand and rested his elbow on his knee. Be careful Shadow. Im going to stay here with Veaji...He twidled around with the green grass, fresh .... and new ....
Shadow nodded, checking the gun for ammo and slipping it into his sword pocket, umm here....if you look after my sword... he handed the hilt to vanula, try not to touch the blade, it'll burn the hell outa you shadows look lingered on his beloved sword, what kinda place am i looking for? he asked as he began to cast his invisibility spell upon himself not making him invisible but causing his shape to become distorted like looking at somone from under the water. i'll be back by night fall, we should be able to go in the cover of darkness. telepath me if you get into any bother. he spread out his wings hovering while he waited for an answer from vanula on what he was looking for roughly
Vanula flipped through all of his memories. The summer...I was older...the lady with the child....Yes! The outpost, I remember, I had to bring the to Bhim and there was an outpost... Vanulas eyes shot up to Shadows. An outpost, very small, look for a tower. Umm...its a friendly place, just watch out for smugglers on your way there Vanula nodded and sat back. He held the sword in his hand, and felt the heat from the blade he set it down gently, and smirked.
