As Jynx walked out of the kitchen, Pendzez turned to the table then up at the roof. "She is so lovely." He said to himself.
Jynx walked to her room in cmplete darkness, lost in thought. He's so handsome...and sweet. She smiled to herself, turning into her room. She quickly changing out of her sandy clothes and grabbing a few things from the dresser, strapping them to her waist-just in case. She looked around one more time before she left. She paused to check her brother's room and found it empty; he was still on the job. She frowned before going back into the kitchen, flashing a dazzling smile. "Ready to explore?" She asked, sitting across from him.
As Jynx walked back into the kitchen, Pendzez started to smile. "Yep, lets go." He towards the door where Jynx was. "Nice clothing."
Jynx looked down at the light blue shirt and black shorts she was wearing. "Thanks. Come on, the library is over here." She turned, putting out the fire, and took Pendzez's hand, blushing a little as she pulled him down the corridor.
Pendzez smiled at her. "Your welcome. Ok, lead the way." As Jynx grabbed his hand so he wouldn't get lost in the dark, Pendzez gave a little blush. He was lead down the dark corridor of the cave.
Jynx closed her eyes, going by memory as she wound her way through the maze. She ran her free hand along the wall, holding tightly to Pendzez's hand. She counted the openings she passed before she stopped, opening her eyes. "Here we go. Number twenty-three, my library." She smiled back at him, pulling him inside.
As Pendzez was pulled by Jynx by the hand, he found it both easy and hard. Someone who knows her way around the cave and the complete darkness made it hard to see, he was wondering how Jynx could tell where she was going. They stopped at the door of the library and Pendzez said, "Ok."
Jynx let go of Pendzez's hand, moving across the library and lighting the bon fire. The sudden burst of light caught her off guard and she blinked, rubbing her eyes. "The wall I was telling you about is over here, if you want to check it." She rubbed her eyes again, casting him a soft smile and gesturing to a wall that seemed a little...off.
Pendzez was amazed by the amount of books Jynx had on the shelves. His attention was drawn by the rock Jynx was talking about. The walked over to it and examined it. "Well, it looks odd, but I don't see any...." He then saw some kind of markings, roughly Ykili. "Ykili, ancient Ykili. I can't make it out." He looked at Jynx then back to the markings. He reached for his camera then took a couple of pictures.
"Is that what you were looking for?" She asked, studying the markings as well. She frowned, tilting her head to the side as she wondered what they said. "I knew this wall was weird." She muttered, more to herself than to him.
Pendzez studied the markings carefully again. "Mabye. If I can only make them out. Wait, Shen is of a Yki mother, mabye he knows." He then reached for hid PDA. "Open visual link. Olsenu. Captain's quarters." The PDA accepted the command and opened a visual link to the Captain's quarters of the Olsenu. "Captain, you there? It's Spitfire." The link was strong, so he can see the captain quite clearly. <span style='color:gray'>"I read you Spitfire. What's wrong?"</span> Pendzez then replied back. "Captain, I found some markings that appear to be ancient Ykili. Can you make them out?" He then linked his camera to the PDA, uploading the images of the markings to Shen. <span style='color:gray'>"Hmm, there ancient alright. I'll try to decipher them, I be back in ten minutes."</span> Pendzez nodded. "Ok, I can wait. Spitfire, over and out." He canceled the link then put his PDA on his belt. He turned to Jynx. "He'll be ten minutes."
Jynx stepped out of hearing distance as he pulled out the PDA. She felt like if she stayed closer she'd be eavesdropping, and she didn't like that idea. She walked her fingers along a nearby book shelf, absently reading the titles as she waited for the hum of voices to stop. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Pendzez turn to her and looked up, smiling brightly. "Ok. What do we do until then?" She asked.
Pendzez wasn't sure of what to do. He looked at Jynx in a loving way. "Well, I'm not sure. What about you?" He stood up then walked over to the book shelf that Jynx was standing next to. "Mabye see what books you have?"
Jynx blushed at his loving look, smiling softly. "Sure. I collected all these myself, you know." She said proudly, looking at the massive shelves pack with books. "I organized them, too. What do you want to look at first?" She asked, turning back to Pendzez.
Pendzez examined all the shelves of books, his eyes glimmer in surprisement. "Wow. All of them? You must have a brain full of knowledge." He was amazed to see so many books. "Well, mabye.... not sure."
Jynx blushed at the compliment, looking back to the shelf to try and hide it. "Well, let's see...I have a couple Sci-Fi books you might like, or...Chemistry, Natural Science, fiction." She frowned, studying the shelf before her as if it were alive. "Oh, I know! Come on." She grabbed his hand, starting to lead him farther into the library.
"Well, let's see...I have a couple Sci-Fi books you might like, or...Chemistry, Natural Science, fiction." He looked at the row of the sci-fi books, then chemistry, natural science, then fiction. His hand was grabbed then pulled. Jynx pulled him further into the library until he remembered. "Oh, I almost forgot." He reached for his bag then pulled out two tickets. "I have here two tickets to see Ms. Sarah Gojgla in concert. Wanna go?"
Jynx's ears perked up and she turned, forgetting about the special book she had wanted to show him for the moment. "Really? I've never been to a concert." She didn't want to admit she had no idea who Sarah Gojgla was; it was bad enough she'd just said she'd never been to a concert. But it sounded fun. "Sure, I'd love to go with you."
Pendzez smiled. He was happy that Jynx will go with him to see Sarah Gojgla in concert. He handed her one of the tickets. "It's a date, then. Now, it's on the 10th of Dyo. It's her "Watching You" Tour. I'll pick you up from here and take you to the Watani Entertainment Center, ok?"
Jynx took the ticket, gazing at it as if in awe. She smiled and blushed, looking up at Pendzez with a smile. "Ok. I'll wait here for you." She promised, slipping theticket into her pocket.
