Along the way out of the large forest, Persius found himself visiting with Fautal more than he had anyone for quite a while. He found himself both impressed and slightly intrigued by the 'dragons ability to help the old merchant. Himself, he didn't think he could have done it, but he used the excuse it wasn't part of the job. The job which actually turned out to be useless, in the long run. He had taken the job in exchange for information. The location and name of a particular 'dragon. But now, with this new puzzle at his feet, the information he learned would be pushed aside. He would rest at Tarhesia for a couple days, then trace down the truth of the old 'dragons disease. Why would he do this? It was his nature. Traveling the world, you learn the worlds secrets. And being an untethered body, he needed some direction, even if it was only chasing ghost stories and folklore. He missed what Fautal said to him. So lost in his own thoughts, all he caught was the sound of his voice. <span style='color:blue'>"What, Fautal?"</span> Turning back, he saw that Fautal held a pouch in his hands. <span style='color:blue'>"What have you got there?"</span> Fautal fumbled gently through the pouch, obviously interested in its contents. <span style='color:purple'><span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Wasnt really sure where to go with this one from here, so I figure I'd give you a pretty open situation to work with. However you wanna go is cool, my idea for this thread has passed. Also, sorry i've been slow to respond, got caught up in a new game. I'll do better. EDIT: oh, and also, I believe that Persius' next real destination will be to the neurotech research facility to talk to an expert on diseases, where you are listed as a scientist. So if you wanna work that into the storyline, its an option. But once he departs, I plan on leaving him untouched for quite a while, giving him time to reach his destination, then taking back up with him there.</td></tr></table> </span>
OOC: ok then. I'm going to make it so he doesn't know so that it comes as a suprise to him. for future reference though, it is considered rude to say what another player's character is doing. just so you know. IC: "I believe that it contains your payment," Fautal said as he tossed the bag to Persius. "So what do you plan on doing now?"
OOC: Oh, sorry, I guess I did kinda force your character into an action. Wasnt thinking. "The merchant has me intrigued." he responded. "Or rather, his disease does. I've seen a lot of things, but never anything such as that. I think I'll look more into it." He casually opened the pouch as he started walking again. A slight snicker left his voice as he saw what was inside. He closed it up gently. "At least i know now where to start looking." After a few minutes, he finally spoke again."It was Skernys medicine in the pouch. I know where he got it from."
"I've seen this before. The medicine could have came from anywhere, but the knowledge of how to make it... That came from the Adamant Empire." A grin came upon his face like he had just thought of something funny. "I'm heading back to Trilok."
"Alright. I stay here though. I still need to make sense of a few things. I just need a place to recouperate from a previous battle that I had," Fautal said.
