<span style='color:teal'>"Alright, I'll get her to come in tomorrow, it's getting late."</span> ---Tomorrow--- <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj met in the shop again this time with Tucoju in tow. They waited for Rujiem then started working again.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Alright, let's see here then," Tucoju took the liberty of reading their minds to see what they'd agreed to, "Interesting design." She got to work drawing all the corridors, water lines, cooling lines, life support ventilation, etc...</span> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj, "They, that's cheating." He laughed.</span>
Rujeim pressed his remote and teleported straight into the class room again, the familiar flash of blue light and then the sudden appearance of class room furniture. And then the sigh of Amdemaaj and Tucoju laughing together. "Oh not intruding am I." He said meekly, not overly comfortable with the two obvious lovers getting close in his presence. He was immediately distracted however by the prints he saw on the table, her funny robotic gizmos drawing away at things. "Oh are they the blue prints then." He said with interest he had big plans for this ship, he had been thinking up a few new gadgets for it as well.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju looked over at him and probed his mind, quickly erasing a few parts of the ship and fixing them. She wanted to make it to 'their' design. In her quick probing to find his ideas for the ship she accidentally picked up his surface thought and blushed. She gasped and quickly covered her face.</span> <span style='color:teal'>"You ok?"</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Yes, yes." She had never thought herself as Amdemaaj's lover, 'he's just a friend....' She turned to Rujiem and said into his mind, 'He's just a friend, you saw us hugging and assumed the wrong thing.' She returned to her drawings and tried her best to avoid eye contact with either of them.</span>
Rujiem wasnÂ’t much of a telepath, but he was a little shocked at her probing his mind. He nearly, though reflect more than anything tried to fight her out but relished what she was searching for. Still a little warning would have been nice. He was a little surprised about her reaction when she stumbled on the wrong thought, he distantly swore he had seen them kiss before. Out side the class room, to be exact. Once he shrugged down the blushing part and embarrassment, he started to act his age a little as he oversaw some of the blueprints. {What makes you think its the worth thing to assume, I think you would both make a nice couple.} Telepathy back into her head, he could hold up a conversation with his mind, little else though. Some telepaths were so potent they could make people do things, or even see things that werenÂ’t even there.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju quickly finished the blueprint. She had made many different sheets each having the outline of the ship, and individual systems on it. There was the energy management, life support, waste management, and ship layout. The life support system was the most complicated, it had to include the air curculation systems, the heating and cooling systems, and the food storage systems. Once she was done she quickly ducked behind them, partially so they could see the prints better, but also so they couldn't see her severe blush, "That's the combined ship from both of your ideas. Anything you both thought as vital is on it."</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Oh excellent! This is perfect." Amdemaaj was looking at them like a child in a candy store, mumbling things about what was included in the drawings.</span>
Rujeim guessed she didnÂ’t want to talk about it anymore, he didnÂ’t mind since the blue prints were done now anyway. He looked over them and grinned, it look quite spectacular. He couldnÂ’t wait for it to be finished either, space travel was still such a marvel. "So how are we going to build this, do we have any robots to help or will you be recruiting students. This is a lot of work for just us three." A dubious tone filling his voice, this ship was quite vast. "Oh yes and were too, do you have a where house of some kind. If not then I could get us one, we just need somewhere other than the school I think." He said thoughtfully, building guns in the school was one thing. But building some titan ship was quite another.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj smiled, "This looks awesome." "A werehouse? I have one, it's very large, well large enough to hold this." Amdemaaj thought for a moment, "I can get my whole mechanics class to help, make it a final project or something."</span> <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju was glad they like it but decided to wait for them to give her more orders.</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>sorry for the huge delay</td></tr></table>
Rujeim grinned manically at this new prospect and eagerly awaited the construction of the thing. Maybe he might actually see space, although it was a common thing in these times he never actually thought he would ever be able to afford it. These days though good tidings were more frequent for him and it wasnÂ’t so far fetched now. "Well by all means we need to move all our equipment and materials there then, then get to work on the frame of this beast." He said with a smile, the titan star would be one of his best works yet. Space was hardly the final frontier anymore, but with so much to see and do it was hardly done with yet. So many ideas such as folding space and warp drives were so new, he personally had ideas for things such as jump gates and wormholes. The physics behind them was astronomical but totally great, a challenge worthy of his attention.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju stood and faced them, "I can help with that."</span> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj cocked his eyebrow, and looked her over. She wasn't petite, but certain not strong enough to carry any of the equipment. He thought for a moment, then realized it was Tucoju, "Let me guess, you have some sort of robot that can move it all."</span> <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju smiled, "Kind of," she reached into her bag and pulled out 2 dozen more of the little orbiting robots, "These little guys have tow cables, so groups of 4 can carry the heavy stuff, and a single robot can carry the lighter stuff."</span> <span style='color:teal'>Right away the little floating robots got to work, attaching their cables to the edges of the equipment and lifting them into the air. "Ok then," He led the way down the road to a large empty warehouse a block and a half from the school, "Set it all down by the wall over there." He pointed at the corner to the right of the entrance, and immediately set it all down with the greatest of care before, all but 4, returned to her bag and turned off. "Well that certainly was faster. I think we should call it a day, we'll start construction tomorrow when I get my class in here. So Rujiem, you'll have to come a lot earlier than usual. When classes start instead of when they finish. I know you don't like kids, but don't worry. My class this term is only made of graduate level students, so they are mature, don't worry."</span> ----------TOMORROW---------- <span style='color:teal'>The bell rang as the class got settled into their seats. Amdemaaj was lucky this semestar, all of his classes were of the highest grade class. He didn't like teaching the younger grades, he did anyways but he never enjoyed it. "Ok, I've decided to change the unit order. You've already learned everything I teach this year and the rest of this class is just applications of what you learned anyways. So! We're skipping straight to the final project!"</span> "What!? but Mr. Nasul we still have over half the year left, are you expecting us to build a house or something?" One of the students, Tnujsyma, called out. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj grinned, "Not quite. Everyone grab your stuff and follow me." He led his class of 45 to the warehouse, "From now on, you are to come HERE when the bell rings."</span> "Sir? What are we doing here?" Tnujsyma asked. <span style='color:teal'>"When Rujiem gets here I'll tell you." Amdemaaj replied.</span> "Rujiem?" He asked again <span style='color:teal'>"Patience is a virtue."</span>
Rujeim teleported down to the warehouse in a flash, and was confronted by a horde of mean looking students. All carrying weapons of various kinds, granted these weapons were in tool form but power tools were quite shocking. He blinked at the all in surprise before slightly backing away a bit, until he saw Amdemaaj he loosened up a bit. Standing a little straighter and sorting out his coat with its many sleeves, his four arms working frantically. "Yes... Hello." He said with a slight wave, the mass of students looking back at him. Oh how he hated these sorts of situations, they were truly diabolical.
A few of the students cringled at the sight of four arms, a couple others laughed a bit. These were quickly silenced by a textbook to the back of the head by Amdemaaj. <span style='color:teal'>"The next student to discriminate Mr. Davlok for having four arms failed the class, am I clear!?"</span> The students quickly matured and faced Amdemaaj again, "Yes, sir." <span style='color:teal'>"Okay, as you now know, THIS is Rujiem Davlok, you will call him, sir, unless he says otherwise. He's like my inventing partner. We made that teleport gun we disected a few weeks ago. Anyways, now that he's here, I'll explain out project." "Over the remainder of the year, we will be making a spaceship that will be equipped with out latest invention. Miss. Uej has already drawn up some blueprints and will be assisting us with construction after the school day ends. Any of you who wishes to help out after school will be giving bonus marks or have previous BAD marks improved." "I'm going to divide you all into teams as to what you are best at, a few of you may dislike the team you are in, but during the year I have studied how you work, and the team you are in reflects your greatest skill." "First we'll start by constructing the outer hull of the ship, and build inward. Since this part of construction can only go as fast as metal-craft team can make the metal plates for the hull," He paused and looked at Rujiem, "Mr. Davlok will co-ordinate the construction of the reactor and the power lines that will run throughout the vessel." "Miss. Uej has left some of her own devices to help us," He paused again, and began again in a loud angry voice, "Oh, and if ANY of you tries to steal ANYTHING, I will personally make sure you won't be ABLE to leave. If that means paralyzing you, or breaking your legs," He narrowed his eyes, "So be it." He then smiled, "But you've all out grown that stage of life so that shouldn't be a problem." "Now, I've converted this side wall into several screens, Each of these 15 monitors shows the blueprints to the ship, you can zoom in on any section if you can't see the detailed parts. I want every team to look over your corrisponding part of the prints." Amdemaaj listed off names for the metal-craft team, the apolstry team, the engineering team, etc... "Anything you wish to add Rujiem?"</span>
Rujiem frowned significantly at the rude ones, he would have to get his own back some how. It was times like these he wished he was a chemist, but instead maybe he could jolt them with static. Or if he matured and stopped being so pathetic about it he could just fight like adults are supposed to. Delegate all the harder work to them. Anyway he flexed his hands as Amdemaaj gave him an opening. Students in his opinion were like wolfs, if they sensed weakness they attacked. So he was determined to show them all that he was more than capable. "Yes actually, you are all accomplished mechanics and I appreciate that. My field is physics however and I will be dealing with the more complex and advance things. I will be leaning on your help though with them, but only if you are capable of following my commands. If any of you do anything foolish with the type of equipment we are dealing with it could lead to someoneÂ’s death. Anyone not following health and safety will be removed." He said very firmly, a glare in his eyes as he did his best to subdue the bunch. The warp drive and massive machinery, the heavy metal and the complex dive systems did not warrant foolish hands poking them and trying to augment them. In fact it was highly dangerous, it had his reputation to keep after all and he didnÂ’t want any dead school children. He was looking forward to this though, space ships were so fun. He was going to bring all his expertise to make sure it was the faster ship in space for its size, even if that meant spending more than anticipated. He had money after all, enough to see him through this project well enough.
<span style='color:teal'>"Alright, Engineer Team, you're with Mr. Davlok, treat him like your teacher."</span> "Yes, sir." <span style='color:teal'>"Isn't it nice, they're all practically adults, I love it when they are this grade." He laughed at his comment. Then getting serious, rather suddenly, he said, "Apolstry Team, go read the blueprints and start designing the chairs, rugs, and other commodities that will go on the ship. You will be on your own for this so I'm assigning Vurjek as your team leader. Follow her leadership."</span> "Yes, sir." <span style='color:teal'>"Metal-craft Team, you're with me, we'll start making everything metal on the ship. This is the slowest task so I expect PERFECT EFFICIENCY from you."</span> "Yes, sir." <span style='color:teal'>"Construction Team, I'll need you to come over here for a moment so I can program the robots to listen to you." They followed Amdemaaj and after they had gotten programmed the robots sprang to life and followed behind them like obidient dogs, "You will be in charge of helping any other team that needs help moving something." "Ok, everyone, both Mr. Davlok and I are really excited about this project, if by the end of the week you aren't either, you need help. That aside, LETS GET TO WORK!"</span> The Engineer Team, consisting of the 6 best engineers in the class, walked over to Rujiem, waiting for their assignments. The Apolstry Team, the 8 best fabricators in the class, ran off to the blueprint wall. The Metal-craft Team, the top 10 metal workers, walked up to Amdemaaj. The rest of the 20 strong kids sat by the robots and began talking to their "robotic friend". <span style='color:teal'>"Ok, I'll need at least 5 members of the team, follow me." Amdemaaj led his team to the far end of the warehouse where the metal work equipment had been placed, and began his job.</span>
Rujeim looked over his motley crew that made up the engineer team, they seemed a competent bunch. Well he hoped so anyway other wise this would be a very long project indeed. He took out his note pad and pencil, his eyes scanning over the list of task and items in need of doing. The very first thing was the most important. "Right, our first task is to make the life support systems. With them the metal work team can integrate them into the hull. They consist of a few fancy items and such and are very technical, but IÂ’m sure you can handle it." He withdrew a cylindrical tube and pulled out some simple paper, on it were the schematics. He laid them out neatly before the group and pointed to various parts of importance and explained them. "It is basically an intake system and molecular separation unit, separation the oxygen from the CO2 and then sending the excess carbon to the fuel intake. Which we shall work on another time." He said smugly. "But for now, you now what you have to do so get going."
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj started giving orders to his team as soon as they were by their equipment, "Ok, we need to build this piece of the hull first," He pointed to the outside part of the rear of the ship, "Once we get that done Mr. Davlok's team can build the reactor into it." He turned to the idling muscle team, "I need all but 10 of you to built holding brackets. Use the blueprints and make supports and crossbars, etc, so that we can build the ship in the middle of the warehouse."</span> "Yes sir!" 10 of them, and their robot partners quickly ran back to the classroom to grab some metal bars that they'd use.
Rujiem and his team working on the system quite tirelessly and after a while his hands soon hurt from all the effort. He wasnÂ’t used to this much hard workings and technically soldering and assembling, he was more the person who dreamed them up and thought out the physics behind them. This was a little far fetched. He sat back and took a small breather while he let the minions work, it was quite handy having a team but he still preferred solitude. If he ever wanted to finish the project though he would have to put up with the team and bustle of people. This wasnÂ’t exactly some evening project. They seemed to have nearly finished that, he couldnÂ’t help but notice how much faster it all went with them all running around. Something like that would usually take ages. "Very well done people, finish this one up and we can move onto the next part." eh said with glee.
<span style='color:teal'>Over the next week, Amdemaaj's team completed the outer hull and began work on the inner walls of the ship.</span> The building team began to piece together the hull inside the holder they had built. The apolstry team finished the seats for the cockpit, and began work on the living quarters. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry bout the delay, i've been so brain-dead because of homework.</td></tr></table>
In that time Rujeim and has team had completed all the major systems, the life support and the simple wiring were done. The main engine system and the lighting were also fully operational. The more advance systems however were far from done, the star drive wasnÂ’t even started and the weapon systems hadnÂ’t been attached. Nor had the main engine power source been attached. "Ah another day another task, eh Amdemaaj." Rujeim said with a hint of determination in his voice.
<span style='color:teal'>"Right you are." Amdemaaj whiped his brow. "Next week you have to co-ordinate the construction of the advanced systems."</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>worst, post, ever.....</td></tr></table>
