  1. <span style='color:teal'>"I know, I'm not happy right now, I hate it when things break too." He said, "But I've noticed that if I get angry and show it, I work less efficiently, and I break things easier. So even though I'm annoyed you blew that last one up, I know that if Ishow it and let my anger get out, I won't be able to work as good."</span>

  2. Rujeim stopped and stared at him with very raised eye brows and stopped working for a brief moment, he despised it when people lectured him on how he should act. Especially since it was hardly his fault the last one blew up, after all it wasnÂ’t his fault the equipment was faulty. Times like this he wished he was back in the NRF where equipment was significantly better, not to mention pre tested.

"Well what works for you is your business" He said with a slight bitter tone. He was highly irritated now and so he focus his new found aggression on work.

    OOC - Some time later

Rujeim wiped his brow with effort as the concentration he had been using had almost brought him to sweat. Meticulously testing every single piece of material and equipment to remove the inadequate parts. The total inner workings were done and so was the chamber for the crystal.

    "There" He declared triumphantly.

  3. <span style='color:teal'>"Good job," Amdemaaj grabbed one of the finished crystals, and handed it to Rujiem, "When you're ready."</span>

  4. Rujiem took the crystal and still frowned at Amdemaaj though, he had done the main part so he was looking forward to a slight easier part of work hopefully where he could sit back a bit and shoot hole sin something while Amdemaaj did his part. He did however begin to fit the crystal in exceedingly carefully and slotted it in neatly, then closing the clasp on it to keep it in place.

He stood back and wiped his brow as while he marvelled at the view of his work, neatly placing a piece of spare metal about a yard in front of it. He eagerly pressed the trigger that he had hard wired into the prototype, he had purposely kept the cover off so far so he could see the inner workings.

A light built up through the workings until it reach the crystal which glowed red before shooting a far more concentrated and channelled red light perfectly straight out of the main barrel. It hit the metal in a un phased speed before slicing straight through it a moment later and cutting into the wall on the other side of the room and breaking a desk clean in half on the way.

"Opps" Rujeim muttered as he hit the off switch. " Least it works." he smiled meekly, now it just needed to be put into a case and sealed.

  5. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj sighed, "That's coming out of my pay, but yea at least it works."

He walked over to it and slowly picked it up, "Help me put it in the shell over there, just open it when i get there."

He strained as he could only lift it at the peak of his strength. </span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>I'm really sorry about the delay, I've had a lot on my mind and couldn't think of anything to post.</td></tr></table>

  6. Rujeim meekly nodded, feeling a little bad that his pay was going to be docked. But then again neither of them was short for money now, the teleportation gun had sold quite well although not to the people the first anticipated. Still it had made them a cool little fortune, well enough to live on anyway.

Rujeim walked over and put all four of his arms into action, one advantage of the four arms was that although neither one of them was particularly strong. But put four arms into anything and it was usually stronger then any two.

He heaved his effort into it and helped Amdemaaj lift the thing over to the gun, easing the shell over the inner workings then working to seal it shut for good. An air tight seal to keep it safe from the absolute zero of space.

"There" he said as he wiped the sweat of his brow.

  7. <span style='color:teal'>When the device was secure, Amdemaaj walked around behind it. He pushed a few buttons on the end of the worktable and it's legs opened to reveal wheels. He pushed it outside and returned the wheels to legs.

"Ok, now that we're outside, what should we shoot?"</span>

  8. Rujeim looked around at the somewhat empty area of the field, it wasnÂ’t really used for anything since it was in a more desolate part of the school. Most out door activities were done more towards the Jemdrull pitches and so forth. Still it gave him no idea thought as to what to shoot, they really werenÂ’t allowed to do this sort of thing on the grounds.

"Well preferably anything non flammable would be nice, and erm quite thick too since it seems to be able to cut though metal ridiculously fast. Maybe something ceramic since they have far higher melting points then metals. If we could find a rouge brick wall that we could shoot that would be nice." He said in some what amused way.

He found the whole idea of shooting things quite funny really, unless they were going to shoot down a bird or something. That would just be cruel, although he was confidently the gun could easily do it if they had too.

  9. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj walked back into the workshop and looked for his disc shooter. He set it up and aimed it at a 45 degree angle. He fired one and the gun instantly distroyed it, "Well the automatic setting works."</span>

  10. Rujeim looked at it with a smile, yeah it was finished basically. They could finally start to work on the ship or something, if the automatic worked that well then it was set. It wasnÂ’t really meant to be fired manually anyway otherwise you would get people making guns out of it. It was still just a missile defence system that could stop you getting blow out of the air.

"Well that worked then, want to drag it back in and get to work on the ship design then." He said with a grin, quite chuffed that it was finally over. H had to admit it was far from the best project he had worked on.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry it took so long, tests and a lack of ideas for this thread held me back.</td></tr></table>

  11. <span style='color:teal'>"Alright." Amdemaaj smiled, "Should I get our team back? or just Tucoju's gadgets? They make blueprint drawing much easier."</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>sorry for teh short post >.< I've been insomiac for a week now....</td></tr></table>

  12. Rujeim smiled at their success, but now he could devote himself to the space ship design now. It was by far a more interesting topic and it would be far more rewarding and challenging. Still the possibilities were endless, but they needed to get a few things straight first.

"Erm lets first decided on what type of ship we want it to be, a small fighter thing, one man vessel. Speed exploration ship, transport ship, cargo ship, corvette. Once we have that out the way then we call in the team again." He said with some satisfaction, personally each ship provided a different type of challenge and obstacles but each with its own rewards.

Even something as simple as cargo, they could make a fortune of transporting and shipping goods if they got a good design. This sort of project filled him with delight.

  13. <span style='color:teal'>"Speed Exploration, definately that. A smaller sized ship. Big enough for a cockpit, quarters for 10. I've always felt 10 was a good size for a crew. I don't know why."

Amdemaaj continued to think about it, "Well that's my idea, what do you think?"</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry for the short post</td></tr></table>

  14. Rujeim pondered on this for a while, it was certainly one of the more interesting and certainly cheapest options. But he himself had a slightly discrepancy with the crew number, 10 was just too large by his accounts.

"Well so scout class it is, but if we are really going for a proper scout ship we only need one or two crew. After all it only takes one person to see and record the findings, and the less room used on living quarters the more room for engines and speed. The main point about an exploration ship would have to be its speed. Unless of course you disagree." He said, summing up his points.

He could see a little debate coming up here, they both had very different ideas of what constituted for exploration. Rujeim believed it was a small fast ship which could see as much of the galaxy as fast as possible. Amdemaaj seemed to think it meant a big slow ship where people could survive in in defiantly, and practically live in space.

Both valid points but not what he had in mind.

  15. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj pondered for a minute, "That's true, but if you're going to be exploring for a while, you'd need a lot of food."

He stroked his chin, "Perhaps a small cruiser type would be better. Instead of having quarters for 15 people, convert 13 into food storages. You'd be able to go for almost 10 years probably."

He looked out the window at the sky, "We've explored so much, way more than the humans, but I still want to explore something new."

He suddenly turned to Rujiem with a stern look, "We should put the engine of a large interceptor ship on it. With the added boost we'd be able to reach the edges of explore space in less than a year."</span>

  16. Rujeim raised an eye brow at the mention of the humans, their works were only left in very old text books now. Mostly as an example of the lethality of the rapine, a lot of negative things had occurred in that invasion. But when it came to space travel the Pendragons really had few equals but this design argument could go on for a bit.

"Wow 15 quarters, no more like 2 with lots of bunk beds. Maybe one extra special one for the caption. I think this corvette style thing sounds good, a good capable ship. Maybe though in its docks we could include one very small and fast scout ship." He said with his mind deep in thought.

"That way if we see something of interest we could fly over fast and take a look. A mix of both ideas really. After all the ship cant be too big since their is a limit of what will make it out of the atmosphere." He said referring to his physics background, all the major ships were actually build in space, being far to big to come of and on the planet.

They were more for the military though.

  17. <span style='color:teal'>"That's what I was thinking, as far as the size was concerned."

Amdemaaj thought about the small craft idea, "Would it also have defences? Obviously it would have the basics, shields, armour plating, and basic antiship turrets, but would we bother adding the anti missle system? Or would it just rely on the corvette ship to protect it?" He paused to breathe, noticing how excited he was getting.

"I guess we could add one small version of the missle system to it. Also, how many are we going to have on the corvette? I was thinking four on the nose of the ship, four around the engines at the back, and four in a ring around the middle. That way although the laser turrets could turn they'd be more efficient in their own areas."

"Oh before we go on I believe we need to name it. I know, we haven't even started building it yet but I feel it is necessary."
Amdemaaj laughed, "How about the Rujiem-Amdemaaj?"</span>

  18. Rujeim panicked a bit when he started going on about all these fancy things for the little ship he was thinking off. It was a little of scale. "Oh no no, I meant a scout ship. A tiny one man thing, only used for flying and exploring something once the bigger ship reaches a new area, then it flies back and re docks." He said in one long breath, only pausing for air.

"No need to chock it up with loads of attack and defence things when its just a scout, the corvette can do all that." He said with a bit more reassurance, if a scout class got caught in a fight, speed would be its biggest weapon and sticking things on it would juts slow it down.

"But on the corvette, I was thinking 2 if their are just for defence, if we cant get the to work offensively then for or 6. But I think it should have other weapons too." He said with an odd tone, he didnÂ’t like planning for violence too much.

"Naming it sounds like a great idea, not sure on that one though." He beamed as he laughed of their name idea. It needed to be something of its own, and something dramatic too. Like a statement.

"How about the Sesum Tsuj," mixing in a little ramathien to make it sound more proper.

  19. <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj listened as Rujiem spoke, "I was thinking the design of it could be like a long corridor, opening up at the front for the bridge. The wings would be at the back, I figured a reverse half-circle style would be good, that way we could mount one laser on the tip of each wing, then one on the top and bottom of the ship. It'd be like a stocky, heavily built ship that was some what similar to an arrow head."

    "Sesum Tsuj? I like it!"

"You know, if we need help building this, I could comender my class, just make it like a project. I've got a bunch of very stong ardens in it. A few have telekinesis too."

"I'm going to call Tucoju and her gadgets back, we've got some basic designs here, but her equipment makes it easy to draw professional prints. Do you mind if I get her?"
    </span>

  20. Rujeim nodded as they reached an agreement on the ship now, it was making a little more sense size wise and shape. At first he was a little dubious but now he was all for it, a few minor things could be worked out a little later.

"Yeah sounds great, so a crew of 4 or 5 ish then. And yeah that name suits it." he said with a grin, finial they could get working on this thing with a bit of gusto.

He started working his mind on the schematics of this thing, wrapping his thought around the problems and challenges.

"And I donÂ’t mind if you bring her along, as long as she keeps us in the loop about what she is drawing. And Technical stuff we discuss." He said firmly, he remember the last time she had come she had practically tried to design the whole thing her self.
