<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj disappeared for a few minutes and returned with a hot cup of hot chocolate, "You know my friend Tguka, that other guy who was here, is running for council. If he gets in and we finish this project successfully, can you imagine how much money we could make if we had his influence when trying to market this to the military or whoever." Amdemaaj sat on one of the chairs and watched the cutter making it's slow progress through the crystal.</span>
Rujiem grinned to him self before acting like nothing happened, sipping on his tea innocently. His hands tenderly wrapping around the incredible hot cup, switching them occasionally when it got to hot to hold. He looked over to Amdemaaj and made a surprised face. "Oh really, yes that would help quite a bit. IÂ’m sure he could pull a few strings for us if he got the job. What position is he exactly going for." He asked simply, after all there were 12 different positions. Rujiem grinned to himself before opening his mouth again. "Well I'm going for a council position my self, the transport one actually. I hope we are not competing." He said slyly.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj grinned slyly, "He's going for space operations!" He laughed, "Isn't that awesome! He'd have key ties to the military leaders and any other authorities having anything to do with space, it'd be an automatic sell." Amdemaaj laughed again, and drank some of his hot chocolate, "You and me Rujiem, we are going to be rich."</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Beware the evil Amdemaaj on sugar!!!! PH34R!!!</td></tr></table>
Rujiem smiled quite contently, if this arden did indeed get the jop it would make there lives so much easier. With certain connections that both Rujiem and the space operations councillor would have combined they could really open up their prospects. Transport and Space operations were some what perfect for a space ship design. "Yes I think so too, what are you going to do with your money then." Rujeim asked nicely. He wanted to work some more really. He already knew what he wanted to do with his fortune, maybe he would work more first though. He knew he had a problem yet he didnÂ’t really care, he liked work.
<span style='color:teal'>"Well first off, I'm going to buy a really nice ring and propose to Tucoju." Amdemaaj wasn't at all shy about telling Rujiem, "But before I can do that we have to make this work, so breaktime is over."</span>
Rujeim just made a small "Oh" Type sound, he wasnÂ’t very good when it came to feelings that involved the opposite gender, he just saw them as some strange exotic creature that should really be left alone. He had know idea what to do in those situations, so instead he just downed his tea and thought about work some more. "Yes well, erm... congratulations in advance and such." It was all he could muster up. He walked back to his work station and immediately began trying to finished off what little soldering and joining he had left to do. The simple innards of the gun where very nearly completely, after all their wasnÂ’t really that much to them. As he neared completion he began to look over his work for mistakes. Humming quietly to himself.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj grinned at Rujiem's uncomfortableness, "Well the crystal is almost done, only another 30 minutes approximately." He walked over to Rujiem's worktable and expected what he was working on, "How is that going to work for something this big?"</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>The gun isn't a handheld device, shouldn't it take Rujiem longer to build the inner components, simply due to the size of the gun?</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Yeah but its not car sized, its only a laser projector that is strong enough to cut though metal, ie a missile. Like the whole idea is that we could fit loads on a ship, unless you want this to be more of a cannon. If you do thatÂ’s kewl but so far I thought it was just for shooting down missiles. And also how much IC time do you want me to spend on it.</td></tr></table> BC: Rujiem looked at his work and then at Amdemaaj again, he was very confused about the whole situation. He somewhat began to think that they were on different wave lengths, he looked at the size of his parts and looked at the blue prints. "Well how much bigger do you want it, we only need it powerful enough to cut a missile down. The beam only needs a radius of about 2.5 cm to but strong enough but if you want it to be more like a cannon type beam that can be arranged. Although I donÂ’t think that would be suitable for missile defence more like generally ship or vehicle weaponry." He said while scratching his head in serious confusion. He didnÂ’t know what was going on now and he just wanted to make sure they were working on the right thing now. His head was spinning right now.
<span style='color:teal'>"Hmm," Amdemaaj thought for a second, "If I modify the main design we could make a sort of cannon array. We could put a whole bunch of these small guns into one big mount." He laughed, "Alrighty then keep doing your thing."</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Okay, this should be long enough then, but, first blowing up should be next post. Rujiem should try to power it up and it should overload or something and explode. ^_^</td></tr></table>
Rujeim nodded at their agreement and immediately got back to his work, he was quite glad to have that little in discrepancy dealt with and out of the way. He began to get read to test the electrical flow and power output of the device and he rummaged around with one of his spare hands for a power pack. He found one after about a minute of looking and began to figure out how it would connect. He got the wires and inserted them into the pack and pressed he button with glee, eagerly awaiting the show. He watched as the refractors began to hum in turn, each one resonating at a different harmonic frequency before a small beam of yellowish light shot from each one connecting them all. Except for the last, which Rujeim proceeded to frown at heavily in an attempt to make it work, he flicked it impatiently as a more vibrant humming sound began to emerge from the last working refractor. Rujeim loved over to Amdemaaj with a massive frown. " I think this refractor is brok........" His words were cut short as a massive surge of backed up and blocked power forced the current refractors to explode in a shower of sparks and energy causing Rujeim to dive for cover. A smouldering and blackened workstation was all that was left of his model, not to mention small pieces of twisted and blackened metal.
<span style='color:teal'>what fun, what fun. ^_^. Amdemaaj ducked for cover as the sparks flew, looking up he saw Rujiem also ducked, "Rujiem! Are you alright!?" He called out as he got up and ran over to his partner.</span>
Rujeim hid like a girl with two of his arms sprung over his head to protect it from the electrical residue, he didnÂ’t like action things, far too dangerous. He managed however not to scream like a girl and thus maintain some of his dignity. He also managed to wave Amdemaaj off, in an attempt to show he was alright. He stood himself up as he patted the dust and dirt of his white lab coat, trying not too look shaken or anything. " Oh yes perfectly fine, a little startled thatÂ’s all." he said in a very fast and rushed tone. He looked over too his work and sighed miserable, he was going to have to start again now. He hated when things didnÂ’t work out well thanks to faulty equipment, from now on he was going to test things.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj sighed in relief knowing that Rujiem was alright. He noticed the shakeness in his voice but said nothing. Amdemaaj was used to things exploding near him. Being a shop teacher he was used to his student playing around with something they shouldn't have. "I think we should call it a day." He noticed the time was already 12:30AM, "Same time tomorrow."</span>
Rujiem sighed and nodded his head in agreement, he didnÂ’t like when things like that happened. He dusted himself down a finial time before collecting his things, throwing another glance over to where his a blackness workstation lay. He was already annoyed about having to do all that work again, fixing every little detail up again before they could even think about testing. "Ah well yes, maybe tomorrow our luck wont be so foul." He said in a irritated and slightly more stable tone. He nodded his goodbyes before teleporting home in a flash of multicolour light that dissipated in an instant afterwards. Back to the safty of his very secure and private home, probably the one place in the world where he did feel safe.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj felt a little sorry for Rujiem, but didn't say anything.</span> ---The next day--->.<-omgz <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj finished his class up and decided to wait in the workshop this time. He found Tucoju waiting in front of the door. "Tucoju, hello."</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Hello Amdemaaj. I heard you two had an accident yesterday."</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Nah, Rujiem just blew something up. He's alright."</span> <span style='color:blue'>"How about you?" Tucoju looked concerned.</span> <span style='color:teal'>"I'm fine." Amdemaaj pulled her into a hug, "It's alright."</span>
Rujiem had left a marker in the workshop last time he was there and decided to teleport him self straight to work. Cutting out the annoying business of avoiding unruly teenagers and the grease pit hair, the amount of unwholesome bacteria and fungi that could be found there was amazing. He appeared in the same ultra fast flash of blue light that always disappeared as fast as it came leaving Rujeim shaking off the after affects of such a long jump. Turning his head to see Amdemaaj hugging someone out side the door, quickly looking away again to make it look like he had never looked in the first place. He walked over to his station and sighed as all that was left of yesterdays antics was a black stain. With a dropping face he began to get out new parts but set to testing them straight way. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Do you want to skip some of the work this time other wise this thread will be going on forever.</td></tr></table>
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj held her at arms length gave her a peck on the cheek and said, "I'll see you later."</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Alright." Tucoju said, releaved that everything was okay, she turned and left.</span> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj opened the door to the workshop to see Rujiem already there, "When did you get here?" He saw the teleport gun and realized how. He laughed saying, "Cheater."</span>
Rujeim smiled and looked at the teleport gun although he shook his head, he hadnÂ’t used that to get there. After all he had been using teleporters for ages, the gun was only for short range really, the teleported he used had no real limit plus it was smaller. The only downside was you needed to set out markers before hand so the signal could lock onto something. "Ah no, I use my own personal device." he said with a faint smile, he liked the teleportation gun but it didnÂ’t work for long range and with much accuracy. Instead though he began to very slowly and methodically build the thing all over again, the painstaking process taking up massive amounts of time. "Ahhhh" he sighed out loud in frustration.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj grinned, "If we got everything right the first time, it wouldn't be fun, now would it?"</span> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>1) Build outside shell of weapon - Done 2) Build temporaty power source - Done 3) Design components for the guns inner workings - Done 4) Build components for the guns inner workings - Rujiem. 5) Make weapon. 6) Test and fine tune weapon 7) Design Ship. 8) Build ship to hold gun. 9) Equip gun to ship.</td></tr></table> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj began contructing the outer shell of the weapon. He couldn't make much of it. If he sealed it they wouldn't be able to put the 'gun' part of it inside.</span>
Rujeim looked at him with raised eye brows in a "Oh I donÂ’t care look" but then carried on working, lowering his gaze and beginning to work the wiring again. Personally he hated it when people where overly up beat all the time and insanely irritating. It drove him made especially since he hated doing the same things over again. "OH...... JOY.." He said in a very thick sarcastic accent. He felt like smearing his eyes with jam and letting insects eat them out while simultaneously being eaten by a massive sea beast. All in all he wasnÂ’t having a jolly time.
