<span style='color:teal'>"Ah your here, excellent." Amdemaaj shook one of Rujiem's hands, "Let's begin." He led the way to the metalwork room, and checked the list of things to do <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>1) Build outside shell of weapon - Done 2) Build temporaty power source - Amdemaaj 3) Design components for the guns inner workings - Done 4) Build components for the guns inner workings - Rujiem 5) Make weapon. 6) Test and fine tune weapon</td></tr></table> "Alright, the molds are still solidifying and we can rush them or they'll break. It's fragile when drying, but extremely strong when dried, so now all we need are the inner components and power source," He turned to Rujiem, "You start making the molds and building the parts for the inner workings, and I'll start working on that power source." He had a few ideas for powering it, anything dealing with machina was his specialty. He grabbed another sheet of blueprint, and began drawing his ideas</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Make sure it takes him a while to make them. Also, this thing is like the size of a semi-truck. So everything is very big. lol.</td></tr></table>
Rujeim sighed with slight annoyance, he hated making moulds for things. He much preferred to just by the parts but you couldnÂ’t do that with the body since it was a completely new product. He needed to make sure their was space for the copious amounts of inner parts and that they all fitted with out having to much extra room. He sat down looking at the blue prints he had drawn and began to work out the volume with some simple quadratic equations. One he had that he began to draw things trying to get this to fit in his mind, so far he seemed to be having great difficulty and such. He hated things like this so instead he just drew a box around the pervious print and began figured out the shapes in his mind. "Ah this is never easy" He said out loud yet half just talking to himself, sometimes voicing out hsi ideas helped him to work out his equations and pictures.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj laughed at Rujiem's comment, "Yes molds are a little annoying at first." He continued to work on the Fronima energy receiver. It was tricky to make one of the required size. "These are the days you live for, eh Rujiem? Working with a friend, making something distructive," He grinned at Rujiem, "Can't wait to test this sucker out."</span>
Rujeim nodded at his comment yet wasnÂ’t quite sure how to respond to it, drawing plans and boring things always got him ever so slightly annoying so he wasnÂ’t in a overly jolly mood. However he did think it would be somewhat rude not to reply since ignoring people was considered rude my to his annoyance. "Yes I think it will be even better when we start the actually building of things though" He said ever so slightly dryly. He carried on with his pain staking drawings and looked at the finished product, he wasnÂ’t sure if it was correctly fitted so he just spent a great deal of time working over every millimetre of the drawing and such. He never liked making mistakes and it had made him some what a perfectionist. he gave the thing a final look and scratched his head one his 4th arm. " I think IÂ’m finished but we might need to check it over." he said in a distant tone, still pondering over his work.
<span style='color:teal'>A knock came to the garage exit of the shop. Amdemaaj walked over to the door and opened it to see a delivery truck</span> "Are you," The delivery man checked his clipboard, "Amdemaaj Nasul?" <span style='color:teal'>"Yes."</span> "Here's your crystal. It's a little large so you may need to use a forklift to get it." <span style='color:teal'>"Alright," Amdemaaj ran around the side of the building and returned with a forklift. He raised the forks above the trucks cargobay floor, and obtained the crystal. He lowered it onto the floor near the engine crane inside the shop.</span> "Okay, have a good day." <span style='color:teal'>"You too." Waiting for the man to leave he turned to Rujiem and said, "Ha ha. Here it is. NOW we can really build this thing."</span>
Rujiems jaw dropped in shock, he couldnÂ’t imagine how big this crystal was if they needed a truck to carry it around the place. The gun he was building only needed a fist size one, unless they planned to cut pieces off and use it to make many more. That idea seemed to make more sense so he relaxed somewhat, for a moment he had visions of some massive space cannon with a beam as wide as bed. That would be a bit overkill for merely missile defence. "Ah excellent with that crystal in place the beam will finally be able to focus itself far more directly. After this gun is finished would you ever be interested in making some kind of space ship." He asked curiously, the idea had just popped into his head and it seemed like a far better challenge. Yet he was also slightly curious about this crystal and began to walk to where the delivery should, he was eager top get this gun out of the way now.
<span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj had a full face grin, "In case we blow up the prototypes." At the thought of making a full ship his eyes lit up like a child in a toy store, "I know someone who's made ships before, if we had him too we could definately make the ship too." "Plus," He laughed a little, "the librarian here, Tucoju Uej, is surprisingly good at inventing odd gadgets. We could get them involved." "We wouldn't need them to help with the actual weapon, so," He grinned, "We wouldn't need to share credit for the weapon. Ships are already invented so we can get help with it." "Do you know anyone we could bring into this project to help us with the ship?"</span> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Building a ship would be awesome, but I'm basically asking if I can bring two of my characters into this RP, you can bring any that would benefit the ship building, but we want to keep the credits for the invention to just Amdemaaj and Rujiem. What do you think about that?</td></tr></table>
Rujiem was some what happy to heat what the crystal was for even though he hadnÂ’t asked. Yet he was far more focused on what this ship might be like, he wasnÂ’t sure what size there were going to build yet secretly he was dreaming up capital ships of immense size. He had once be fortunate enough to see a full size USR Battle ship and it had marked his mind for life. He had seen it floated far out in orbit yet it had looked almost as big as a whole continent, he had heard though that they had to build out in space since they were too big to enter or leave the atmosphere. "Oh I have no problem with other people joining yet as long as they dot totally take over the project." He said quite cheerily, he was in somewhat of a hurry now to finish this gun yet he knew it wouldnÂ’t be some easy feat. "So right, lets get this crystal out then and get this gun working." He said eagerly and somewhat dryly. He wasnÂ’t in the mood to work electrics yet it needed to be done and once it was there was only the easy bit left.
<span style='color:teal'>"Excellent, I'll make a few calls here, hang on a second." Amdemaaj dissappeared into his office for a few minutes. He returned, grinning as usual, "Alright, Tucoju should be here in a few minutes, she's actually still in the building, she's just finishing her rounds in the library, and Tguka can be here in 20 minutes." Amdemaaj wondered what to do with the temporary power source he had built, "I guess I can modify the power source a little and use it for the ship."</span>
Rujiem tried not to look to confused but he was struggling with the new change of events and this radical change. He was trying to figure out what was going on in his partners mind with this whole ship and gun thing. "So there coming now then, I thought we were finishing the gun first or are we abandoning that now." He said with a very highly confused expression on his face. He was lost right now.
<span style='color:teal'>"Not at all, this way we can test equip the gun faster. Ships take a while to build so, I'll give them the outline shape of the gun, and the location where the power input will need to be, so they can start making the ship to fit the gun NOW, so that when we DO finish and perfect the gun the ship will be ready and waiting." Getting back to his next task he looked over the list</span> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>1) Build outside shell of weapon - Done 2) Build temporaty power source - Done 3) Design components for the guns inner workings - Done 4) Build components for the guns inner workings - Rujiem and Amdemaaj 5) Make weapon. 6) Test and fine tune weapon 7) Design Ship - Tucoju 8) Build ship to hold gun. 9) Equip gun to ship.</td></tr></table> <span style='color:teal'>"Okay, are you almost finished making the parts for the gun?"</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Hello?" A female voice said quietly.</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Oh Tucoju your here already. I'm sorry for sounding rude but can you please just look at the list and start working on your task now, Rujiem isn't a man for small talk," He laughed, "Right Rujiem?"</span> <span style='color:blue'>"That's fine. I kind of tone everything out when I'm working." The librarian didn't look very strong, but she was carrying a backpack. She set the pack on the ground and opened it. Instantly 5 small drones flew up and began to orbit around her head. She grabbed a headset and placed it over her eyes. She also grabbed her blueprint drawing set. She smiled sweatly as Amdemaaj showed her the gun shape and power source port, "Alright, one blueprint coming up." She used the visor of her headset to trace the exact measurements of the gun, she was quite a perfectionist when it can to blueprints. Her blueprint set consisted of a cable that connect her headset to a transmitter to the drones orbitting her. Her made a mental link so instead of having to draw the prints, which could lead to some imperfections the drones would make extremely precice lines wherever she told them to.</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Amazing isn't it, she invented everything she uses." Amdemaaj grinned, "Back to work!"</span>
Rujiems mind eased slightly with this new fact yet he still wasnÂ’t sure about how things were so suddenly progressing. He did however move over to the work bench where they would be making the inner workings of the gun. He idly fiddled with some things as he prepared to ask his next question. "So what type of ship are we making then, fast and light scout, medium corvette style. Just a fighter or a transport ship." He asked curiously, he didnÂ’t want the ship to just be designed without him having a single say in it, he wanted to make the ship somewhat original. While he waited for an answer he began to plan out the different parts and assemble the basic ones which they already had. Those ones were easy and he very, very quickly had a small pile of parts and such like, no wires however and no crystal.
<span style='color:blue'>Tucoju looked up from her work for a second, "I was going to design a ship that was like a large interceptor, quick maneuverability, and really fast, but big enough to hold a crew of 10."</span> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj looked over a Rujiem, "What size crystal do you need, I can start cutting a smaller one from the large crystal." Turning to Tucoju he asked, "You DID bring your crystal cutter right?"</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Yes"</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Excellent." He reached into her bag and pulled out a small cube. Pressing the button on it the cube folded out and constructed itself into a tablesaw-sized machine. It had a swiveling laser cutter that could cut perfectly precise crystal.</span>
Rujiem was getting very annoyed now, the ship idea wasnÂ’t even theirs now. It was just what this women had decided and she hadnÂ’t even talked it over with them. When he had said shall we design a ship he wanted to make something new a revolutionary not just some average corvette class thing. It was seriously annoying him, he would make the gun with out complaint though and see how far she would build the ship before she involved anyone else. "Well I'll build the simple parts while you work on the crystal" Rujiem said as he nodded in Amdemaaj's direction. He began to work on the parts making them fit together as he had planned, the simple wiring fixing together the refractions and the device that would connect it power wise to the ship.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>>.< sorry... I've been really depressed lately.</td></tr></table> BIC: <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju looked up from her work and lifted the visor off of her eyes. She had drawn the blueprints to show five possible configurations. They were far from ship blueprints, just electrical lines, and cooling lines, but they showed the most effencient ways to run them from the gun(s) to the power source. She frowned at his thoughts, "So what are we going to make this ship look like? I've drawn out the most effecient ways to draw the power from the core and the best ways to cool the lasers so they can shoot the fastest."</span> <span style='color:yellow'>"I'd pick this one." A man pointed to the configuration that used two guns, instead of one and that had the cooling line going to vent directly above the guns that directed the heated air into space.</span> <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju gasped and turned to see a tall man standing directly over her, the drones orbiting her assumed a defencive position in front of her and charged their little electrical turrets.</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Tucoju, that's Tguka." Amdemaaj said as he set the crystal down in front of Tucoju's crystal cutting machine.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Oh."</span> <span style='color:yellow'>"Pleased to meet you all. I was told to come here to help design a ship, and I'd assume that you are going to attach that gun to it. So if it's purpose was to distroy inbound missiles then you'd want it to be able to fire as many times in one second as possible. Am I right?"</span>
Rujeim frowned very heavily, he wasnÂ’t in the mood for all this talk and really wanted to finish the gun before they started on the ship but since the others were getting all into it he wanted to at least voice his comments. He left his bench and wandered closer to all the plans and new people, ducking under a whizzing drone. "Yes greetings, and I donÂ’t think the hot air should be just ejected into space, Not only is it a waste of energy but the mechanism for a one way space value is very difficult. IÂ’m sure we could just divert the hot air to somewhere else in the ship where it is needed. Maybe even air conditioning." he said some what forcefully, he wasnÂ’t in the mood to get into an argument over energy physics. Next he set his mind to this new comers next comment, he had somewhat taken a dislike to this new comers and didnÂ’t like the points he was making. "Well actually with the guns it would be more efficient to have a large number of them that fire a continuous beam for a short amount of time, the beam could take out many missiles at once. Like a sword though ropes if you will, also that makes it easier for it to hit since missiles are a fast moving target." He said in the same tone as before. He didnÂ’t like all this sudden change of plans and was determined to keep things his way by any small measure.
<span style='color:yellow'>Tguka thought for a moment, "True, we could use the air other means. Well not much use in planning to much now since we will need to see the gun in action before we can design a ship for it to go onto."</span> <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju nodded, "Yes, maybe we could help you two on that as well?"</span> <span style='color:teal'>Amdemaaj whinced at her suggestion. He tried not to sound rude, "I'd rather you didn't help us."</span> <span style='color:blue'>Tucoju smiled sweetly, "Don't want to share credit? I understand. Tell us when you've finished the gun and we'll help you with the ship."</span> <span style='color:teal'>"Alright." Amdemaaj waved as they left and continued his work on cutting the crystal to size. "Sorry about that Rujiem." His smile faded, "I didn't realize they'd just start assuming things."</span>
Rujiem brightened up some what when they returned to working on the gun, he didnÂ’t like how so much thought was being put into the ship when they hadnÂ’t even finished there first project. However it was good to see the other ship people wander off to there own devices, instead of being irrupting with their annoying comments. "Yes well thatÂ’s alright, I think we should focus on the gun first. Much more thought needs to be put into that ship." He said some what firmly. He was far from a good mood right now. Being the self repressed fool that he was though he just worked all the more harder on the basic parts of the gun, fusing the refractors together and the casing and laser for the crystal.
<span style='color:teal'>"How bout a break? If we work till the same time as yesterday we still got at least 4 hours." Amdemaaj suggested, hoping to lighten the mood, "I need coffee." "The crystal cutter will take all night so I've given it the measurements."</span>
Rujeim, carried on working for a little bit longer, he wasnÂ’t much one for breaks and sleep, even food he same times neglected when working. He suffered from server insomnia and could never really sleep at the best of times, and especially when he was working on something. His mind just never seemed to posses the ability to shut its self down or relax. His doctor had drugged him up so much once just to get him to sleep, even then it was only for an hour. "Yes as you wish." He said blankly and moved over to get himself some tea, he liked the warm drink that had only a hint of caffeine. In truth tea leaves had more caffeine than coffee but the boiling process destroyed large portions of it. Unlike the refined coffee granules. He silently poured hot water into his cup and dapped in the tea bag, watching mindlessly as the brown like tea essence mingled with the aqueous solution.
