Good good, you can count.. Always good to have members that can count... Xizor replied with a returning sneer.. Phfaw.. Who does she think she is? That she can just waltz in here and do what she pleases? He had seen through that facade she put up... at least, he though he had seen through the facade she had put up.. (Sorry my posts suck.. I just had a really long day..)
<span style='color:gray'> Great start.. One of them hates you already.. Tapokaj thought to herself silently after the sight of the sneer. She could sense that Xizor probably hated her with a physical passion - which would probably cause problems within the group. She wanted join the Mithril Wings mainly for her love of flight - and she intended to pass any tests and do so. She was a strong one, a fire of hellish determination always burned within her eyes. She wasn't about to let Xizor get in the way of her path, so a hand was extended to him after a moment's hesitation. It was obvious that this female intended to make peace - with both of their storng and frightfully sarcastic personalities, they had the potential of making a deadly team.. If only they could claw through their pride and 'make up'. She left her hand out in the open, in the hopes of the other shaking it as a sign of peace-making. With a light bow, she spoke. "Forgive me. I do not wish for personal hatred to get in the way of our paths." Silently she stared at Xizor, hoping that he too would swallow his pride, to help reduce their chances of ruining any careers within the Mithril Wings.</span>
Xizor stared at the hand for a second... Contemplating his choices.. One way, he could make an enemy and would have to continuosly watch his back.. the other, make a friend.. Hmm Of course, Xizor being the smart person he was, he shook her hand I apologize as well. It was wrong for me to loose my temper. I will try not to do it again.. Wouldn't do well to make enemies with your teammates, Xizor chided himself.. Next time, he would be a bit more friendly..
<span style='color:gray'> The faded smile grew into one that was warm and friendly, a tiny glimpse of the more gentle, inner side of the very forward female shining throug for a mere second. Quietly she took Xizor's hand, and shook it in a friendly manner. She too felt that making enimies of teammates wasn't the brightest of ideas - especially as she knew that if they were to fall out, she wouldn't bother watching her back. Also, not clever. "As will I."</span>
"Good good... I think we shall be able to confer the rank of Major General.. Or maybe Lieutenant General with me." Xizor said with a smile Sure, this was a complete 180 turnabout about his attitude towards the female. But, as he contemplated it, he realized it was for the best. Good friends = good allies = win. (Thats the second time I've used that.. I just had math, sorry) Still, other than the winning part, she could turn out to be an excellent friend.. "What say you, General?"
<span style='color:gray'> Feeling accepted, Tapokaj nodded gently, the warm smile still lingering about her features. Not only had he started to act towards her in a friendly manner, Xizor was already trying to give her a position. Quietly she looked towards the General, awaiting his answer eagerly. </span>
(OOC: Sorry for taking forever but twice after typing replys, comp froze...) Nubis seemed well pleased as he nodded his head in agreement. "<span style='color:green'>Looks like weve got a new lieutenant general with us</span>"He said happily. He turned to Tapokaj and said "<span style='color:green'>Since you are the third member of the mithril wings, we might have to skip the test</span>".As an afterthought he added "<span style='color:green'>I hope your good at combat because we dont like weaklings who die...fast...</span>". Then seeing that all was in place he streached out his majestic wings and shook them. It had been hard to ascertain if she was authentic in her want to join the Mithril wings but he had a feeling she was trustable. His only regret was that he had learnt that feelings let you down...
<span style='color:gray'> Skip the test, hm? Not a problem, Tapokaj thought to herself. She'd already made a second Lieutenant General with Xizor, and not even done anything. All that she could hope now, is that the Mithril Wings would be a commited group. Of course, she would hold her duties close to heart, as she suspected Xizor would too, but Nubis? He didn't seem too 'leader-like' in her opinion. He'd just given her a high ranking position, without so much as speaking to her before hand. "I'd like to say my combat skills are worthy."</span>
"Maybe we should test that sometime.. I'd like to see how mine compare to yours, if thats alright with you." Xizor said In all honosty he hadn't expected Nubis to give her the position... But, he did. Maybe he had a weak spot for females? Ah well, most people do.. However, he really did want to spar her. He loved to train and spar, and gave every excuse to hone his skills. Although being a master himself, he still knew that practice always help. Lesson number one of being a master is that you will continue to learn, even after you have been conferred the rank of master.
(OOC:Xestri, sorry I suggested it) BIC: "<span style='color:green'>Im sure you'll be able to have your comparisons later on, but right now we should head for the fort</span>"Said Nubis. He slowly took off and wondered how he would test the femme dragon. Even though they wouldent be able to go through the test run, he sure wasn't going to let any nobody join till proven a vetran. Though he couldent be sure that she had the right stuff, he had a deep feeling she would be a dedicated member.
<span style='color:gray'> ooc| Well, so you should be really, cooldood. I think you'd better start taking your role as a leader seriously. ic| Oooh, a sparring offer. Interesting. Either this Xizor was quite interested and curious about her skills, or just wanted a good chance to wipe the floor with her. Indeed, a spar between the pair of them would be quite amusing, and perhaps sooner or later she'd take up the male on his challenge. Very likely - she'd suprise the pair of them. Although she relies a lot on her charm, Tapokaj really does 'pack a punch', as she was taught various forms of martial art by wise masters when she were younger. The adults that she grew up with, as her parents seemed to vanish. With a raised brow, she shrugs slightly to Xizor, before spreading leathery wings and taking flight to follow Nubis. "Maybe we will compare one day, Xizor." </span>
Xizor grinned a lopside grin. "I'll look forward to that day. But for now, onwards!" Xizor said Spreading his majestic black wings to full length, he took off into the air. Doing a quick flap to get some more lift, he rose to the sky with the other two. Doing a twirl in between them, he took his position on Nubis' right, soaring into the night alongside his new team..
The dark red Pendragon was growling ferociously as he was tearing apart his dinner. He had captured a small mammal and tore it up with his large fangs and gulped it down. When he finished his dinner, his ears suddenly perked up as he heard a voice from close by. He forgot to wipe his blood stained face as he spread his feathered draconic wings and took flight. Valerius stopped in the way of the three and smirked a bloody grin at them. "My, my, my ... Well... What do we have here? A little club of some kind?"
Nubis led the way to the fortress and noticed a dark red figure rising into the sky. The figure turned out to be a dark red 'dragon who flashed a bloody grin at the group. Sensing that there might be trouble, Nubis brought out his sword and loosened the safety catch on his crystalizer. He stopped, hovering above the trees as the other dragon said "My, my, my ... Well... What do we have here? A little club of some kind?" Nubis felt some sort of magic feild suddenly, but shook of the feeling as he said "<span style='color:green'>I am General Nubis Xa'fael of the Mythrill Wings, Aerial assault division</span>"
<span style='color:gray'> As the dark red male took flight before the three others of the Mithril Wings, Tapokaj silently hovers a metre behind Nubis and Xizor, amber optics scanning the new male gingerly. His muzzle appeared to be covered in blood - perhaps he had been hunting? Analysing the new pendragon before the group, the slender feline soon takes a few effortless flaps forward, so she ends up hovering on Nubis' left side. Keeping quiet, she lets their leader handle it, though still on her guard.</span>
Xizor lightly growled at the intruder.. Usually he would not accept such insolence, but.. he wasn't the leader. Taking a firm grasp of his sword, he unsheathed it slightly, letting its hellish glow light the area slightly. He fell back with Tapokaj, standing aline with her To her, he mind thought How dangerous do you think he is? He had found women usually asses situations slightly better than males, maybe because males were generally more aggressive..
<span style='color:gray'> Hearing a mind-thought message from Xizor, as he fell to her side, Tapokaj stays silent, showing no evidence that she had recieved this message. Deep, swirling amber eyes stay firmly focused on the new, dark red male, her muzzle emotionless. Unkowing to Xizor, this specific mind message that he had sent was not the only thing Tapokaj could hear. Had he forgotten that the female of the species were born as telepaths, or was he just unaware of that fact? Either way, Tapokaj was indeed blessed with the gift of telepathy, so not only did she hear Xizor's question, but she heard his thought on women usually assessing situations better then males. Wanting to smile, and say somthing at this comment, she chose not to. With a potential emeny before them, this truely wasn't the time. So, she replied, instead. Still, not letting out any signals to the dark red male that she was communicating with on of her team-mates. He analysing voice soon filled Xizor's mind. ~It's hard to say. The blood creates a dangerous expression, as does the grin that lies across his maw. But, at least the blood does not look like that of another 'dragon. He's probably just been hunting. Trying to look more threatening then he actually is.. Perhaps defending territory?~ He thoughts now put across, Tapokaj's large, leathery wings continue to beat steadily, holding the slender feline, hovering in the air, with pure ease. Silently she thought to herself. Not only had she not told her other team members about her powers of telepathy, but she had also kept her ability of telekinesis quiet. Indeed, she was able to move objects with the mere power of her mind - without the use of touch, etc. These abilities were both natural within the female species of pendragon, although telekinesis was usually found strongest in older females. It seemed that Tapokaj was an exception, as she was near to mastering this unique ability. With these two powers at her disposal, she was currently undergoing training. She had been teaching herself how to shape-shift, as it had always appealed to her. Mainly focusing on small objects and animals so far, of course she wasn't too talented in the field of shape-shifting yet. But still, this was another factor she had not mentioned to her team. </span>
Nubis felt some strong magic even though he couldent put his finger on what it was. He wondered what could produce such a strong magic feild. He thought that the red dragon infront of him might be responsible for the feild but couldent be sure. Slowly he let his body's, as well as his wing's colour sink into a night black. He said nothing to the red dragon, waiting for him to respond.
"Were the hell is the fortress" Saila said angularly. She had bean flying around for hours looking for the stupid thing. Saila looked at the map she had bein given and through it in her tail fire. It burned instantly in the black fire telling you she was not happy at all. "I can find this thing on my own faster" Salia mumbled to her self. A few hours later Saila came on four dragons. They were all flying but thee of them were staring at this one dragon that was red in coloration. Then she smelled blood but, much to Saila's disappointment, it was the blood of a animal. When Salila got closer she yelled "is this were the Mythrill Wings are supposed to meet? It better be!" Salia's tail flame was a blazing red. OOC: i am back!!!
<span style='color:gray'> White arms, tinted with orange, and dusted with delicate amber spots were folded angrily now, as Tapokaj's patience was wearing thin. Her frustration grew at the dark red male. Why wouldn't he respond? Perhaps they were too intimidating for him. Either way, she was not fond of him. Who did he think he was - was he trying to scare them? Bloody muzzle, snarling grin, and all. It was then, that an irritating shriek of a shout caught her ears, filling her head. It sounded like another female, and one that thought she ruled the place, at that. Spotted feline turned her head slightly, long golden-orange tresses covering half of her face. One cruel, amber optic stares the other female up and down. She had a mutation - a tail flame, which was currently a hot, blazing red. Perhaps showing anger within this other? Either way, Tapokaj did not care. She turned her head back, taking a quick glance at Xizor, before directing gaze back to the intruding red male before her and the other Mithril Wings. Tail flickered angrily now, she knew she did not like this new male. Nor, was she too fond of the shouting female behind them. Luckily, Tapokaj had slowly form a block to her mind. If this other female had the power of telepathy, she would not be able to read Tapokaj's thoughts. She had developed a mind block, so that no-one can read her secretive mind. Silently, she sends yet another thought message to Xizor. Only he would be able to hear, no others. ~Don't look now, but there's another irritating one on the loose.~</span>
