Kumet was still. She could not move - her brain had nearly completely shut down. Her last concious thought before zoning off into la-la land was simple - "It's worked." This cave didn't contain the plant at all - merely a lookalike. The real plants were miles away. They'd need her alive in order to find them. They'd need to realize, first, that the plants weren't what they seemed.
Fe'shi stops with collecting the plants then looks over to the female that was unconious on the ground near the enterance. Glares slightly at her then goes back to tending a bit more of the plants before drawing back and leaving the others there to burn with the dried plants. Shakes his head slowly and stands up onto his hindlegs. Walks over to where the female lies then knees down beside her placing his hand against her side feeling a tense and heavy breathing beneath her bones.
The strongest of the drug's effects beginning to pass, her eyes blinked open, even the tiniest amounts of light streaming into her fully dialated pupils and scorching her optic nerves. She gasped in pain and squeezed her eyes shut. Her whole body was still completely numb, its presence simply a strange tingling sensation as drunken nerves fired off random impulses, attempting to make a connection with what was, for the most part, a dead brain. Her bodily functions, one by one, began to resume normal operation as the drug slowly wore off, the worst of the high now past - it would still be several hours before she could function normally, however. She had completely forgotten the preceeding events - "Eh... 'dragons... y'need.... summat?" She glanced at the intruders on her territory, then closed her eyes quickly, as the light was still far too bright for her to see anything. She shook her head off quickly, and glanced back at the dragons in front of her. She'd already forgotten they were there. "Where'd you come from...? Kin'ah help you?"
Fe'shi licks his lips a bit then draws his paw back from the druged 'dragon slowly. Places it against his knee and watched her with the one eye then smirks lightly. "Well, it looks as if you are the one that be needing help, my lady." Reaches his paw out and extends his fingers. Touches her face slightly and checks over her eyes as they looked back into his one. Glares slightly as he looks then shakes his head a bit. "You...should have been careful with those deadly smokes that come off the plants. You was damn never death...", draws his paw back and sighs.
The cream-colored femme attempted to move - something that proved futile. Her whole body spasmed once violently then fell still, all feeling lost. It would return, eventually. Her eyes began to return to their normal whiteness, her mind cleared slightly. She glanced up at the 'dragon who seemed so concerned. With a confused grin, she proclaimed, in a rather cheerful manner, "...I didn't see you! Where'd ya come from, bloke?"
Upon hearing her question towards him, Fe'shi grinned and looked into her eyes. "I fell from the heavens...", nods a bit then reaches into his pouch at his side and draws a bottle with a blue crown at the top of it. Removes the cap of the bottle then offered her a drink of it. "Comeon, drink a bit of this. It will increase the rate of your healing if you do so." Looks back over to Kairis as she continues to get plants then back to the female. "I promise you that this tonic won't hurt you."
Kairis smirked impatiently as Fe'shi began helping Kumet. She took that moment to thoroughly examine the plant. It was indeed the same one she had encountered in her childhood experiences, and not the one Kumet had been smoking. This isn't the plant that she has...The stupid bitch probably doesn't even know what it really is good for.
Kumet rose to her paws shakily and regained her sea legs, so to speak. She struggled to maintain her balance as it seemed as though the room spun about her at an incredible rate. Her head also throbbed with pain - it felt as if she had been hit over the head with a heavy, blunt object multiple times. She squinted at the 'dragons about her, responding to the male's query - "No, ay, that's alright. I don't drink." She stumbled forward and took one more opportunity to shake her head off, as if trying to toss off whatever demon latched to her mind and prevented her from thinking. Things were hazy, she could not remember why, yet there was a sense of foreboding about the whole situation. The column of smoke rising in to the air nearby throttled her memory, and she quickly cast a glare in the direction of the nearby dragons, suspicion once again inherent in her gaze - "What you want," she hissed, "is not here. Go home, you'll never get my plants."
Kairis laughed at the incoherent pendragon. "Yes it is, and we have most of it now. Come on, Fe'shi." She gestured at him to follow her and jumped to the entrance of the cave, behind Kumet. "Off we go now." She chuckled malevolently and hopped off a rock into the night sky and disappeared quickly, blending in perfectly with the sky. She landed upon the summit of the mountain they had climbed at first and waited for Fe'shi.
Fe'shi rose up from the floor then places the bottle back into his pouch then looks to the defensive female once more. Shakes his head a bit then turns to the enterances of the cave. Dashes out of it and jumps off the cliff. Looking back over his shoulder as he left the cave then turned himself down to where his head faced towards the ground then closed the one eye. Draws his arms to his sides then vainishes just before he hit the rocky surface below. After a short while, Fe'shi reappears standing on the summit of the mountain where he obversed from afar. Opens his eye then looks back over his shoulder towards the smoke area of the mountainside and sighed heavily. Turned away and dashes down the summit watching for his allie, Kairis from the ground to the skies.
Immediately upon the disappearance of the rather bothersome female, Kumet sprung in to action. She could have her plants... she could have all she wanted. She concentrated deeply, focusing all attention on a large, nearby boulder. It was hard work keeping her mind on task, yet she knew it had to be done - for the sake of the plant. The rock seemed to sigh as it began rolling softly along the dirt, and before long it lay precariously close to the gaping gash in the slin of the earth. Kumet poked her head into the cave and yelled out, "Farewell, eh? Enjoy them!" She ran out, giving the boulder a firm nudge, sending it rolling to sit nicely in the opening, sealing the entrance completely shut.
Fe'shi peered back over his shoulder at the sound of thunder that came from the mountain that he was at last. Glared slightly and licked his lips a bit then looked back up towards the skies spotting his partner, Kairis. Fe'shi went to call out to her but the sound of his voice wouldn't carry do to the fact that the wind was blowing heavily over the summit. Shook his head a bit then dashes down the mountain side until he came to the buildings that began the city. Drops back down onto his forepaws and walks slowly into the shadows looking about for someplace to go and rest. Maybe to even wait on his partner to arrive.
Kairis disregarded Kumet's sealing of the cave. She didn't care, this was only for Fe'shi. She followed Fe'shi back into rural Bhim eagerly and anxiously, taking flight again. She dived down towards him, noticing his distinct form down in the dark street below, and landed in front of him soundlessly. "Hello, again. Were you trying to escape me? You know those plants weren't free. I'm not a good sumaritan out to help." She brought her muzzle close to Fe'shi's face and smirked threateningly, snarling quietly.
Fe'shi smirked as Kairis snarled at him then growled back at her wink his one good eye. Reaches a forepaw to his shoulder then grabs up the bag. Removes it from about himself and places it on the ground infront of her and him, lies between the two. "Well, I couldn't escape you if I was looking to do so...besides it would be unfair for me to have made off with all the plants." Fe'shi opens his eye then looks down on the bag that set infront of the two of them then back to his partner.
Damn right it would be unfair." She shook her head in dismay at his words. 'Unfair' wouldn't begin to describe what it would be. Smirking in frustration, she began to tell him what awaited him. "You do know you owe me big, right?" Now, she winked back at him as she laughed softly, yet seriously and impatiently as she pushed the bag back towards Fe'shi with her paw, while keeping a good grip on it. "You want to help me, or not? You know, if you decline, I'll keep the plants and trade 'em for something good. That means you'd get nothing out of all this. Accept, you keep the plants and you do your end of the deal."
Fe'shi nodded in agreement to her words about the bargain that they made that the begin of all this then he reached his hand out and placed it on the bag as well. Grins slightly and looks into her eyes as he thought about what to use in combining these plants to make a potion of some sort to heal Kairis of the pain that she claimed to be suffering from. "Well, I'm not the kind of person to just deals go unfinished. So I will finish with what was planned from the begin." Fe'shi returned the wink then looks down to the bag then reaches his paw into it slowly. Stops suddenly then looks back over his shoulder towards a coming set of tail flames. Glares slightly then looks back to Kairis. "Let us finish this somewhere else, away from the sight of others. Just in case they plan to take from us." Upon saying this, Fe'shi stands up from the ground and takes up the bag as he does. Places it over his shoulder then holds his paw up infront of himself, causing himself to disappear in a puff of smoke. Reappears ontop of a building away from the alley then looks back over his shoulder towards it to see if she was following.
Out of the shadow BlackThunder appeared, hidden in a wrapped black cloak glaring at Fe'Shi. BlackThunder held an long sharp edged dagger. He growled "come with me and you will not be harmed, i garuntee 'tis" He threw the dagger just above Fe'Shi head. "listen to me if you value your life come with me or the next throw will be aimed at your heart" BlackThunder had already seen the stengths and weakness of this pendragon, he had been in many fights and these experiance were with gratitude as they had saved his life many times.
Fe'shi raised a brow as this new dragon threatened him with lost of life. Fe'shi laughed a bit then drops the bag against the ground then slides it back with his foot to Kairis. Glares with the one red eye then pops his neck from side to side. "You should watch to whom you speak to that way, little dragon." Taps his foot against the ground then extends his claws on both hands slowly. "Kairis...just take the bag and go...enjoy the spoils that we have recovered." Fe'shi turns his attention back to Blackthunder and licks his lips a bit. "So, if I was to refuse your offer...was you intending on taking me down, eh?"
Surprised, Kairis pounced between BlackThunder and Fe'shi. "Who the hell is this?" She handed Fe'shi the bag of fresh plants and reminded him of how much they were worth, whispering in his ear. "Please, I need your help..." She whispered seductively. Kairis did indeed want to kill Fe'shi because he had just wasted all her time. She snarled at him deeply and rose a single claw to his throat. "You bastard, after all I've done for you, this is how you repay me?" The claw dug into his fur slowly as she rose her face close to his. Her glare overflowed with malice, spite, and hatred.
