  1. <span style='color:purple'>"What's he doing?"</span> Uka asked Qyth in a hushed voice.

Qyth laughed, she was so tiny that he had to bow his back to reply with a wink, <span style='color:blue'>"The dam that is his writers block has temporarily broken."</span>

<span style='color:purple'>"Does he do this often?"</span> she asked with a bit of humor.

<span style='color:blue'>"With increasing frequency,"</span> Qyth smiled. <span style='color:blue'>"He's a better writer than he thinks he is. He's cute when he's floundering, but he looks cuter when he's like this."</span>

Uka smiled mentally, but frowned on the outside. <span style='color:purple'>"Is he responsive at all? It's almost like he's in a trance..."</span>

Qyth had to bite his lip to keep from laughing loud enough to disturb the those who might be studying. He reached for the little fey's tail, and said, <span style='color:blue'>"You might not want to do that."</span>

  2. <span style='color:green'>"Rawr"</span> Thyme said, his pen never slowing <span style='color:green'>"That's all I have to say to you."</span> He dived deeper into his writing, filling pages at approximately the speed of light. Words scratched across the paper in his tight, pointed, spidery hand and trailed stories into the book. He began to slow, then stopped completely, the rough draft finished. It would need work, but a finished short story in a blocky form was better then nothing at all.

He looked up at Qyth and Uka with a grin. <span style='color:green'>"Thanks guys"</span> he said <span style='color:green'>"You gave me inspiration."</span>

  3. Uka and Qyth felt a little strange as Thyme stared up at them with that grin on his face. Well, Uka did atleast.

    <span style='color:purple'>"Somehow I get the feeling that isn't a good thing..."</span> she said.

Qyth picked up the little fey, placed her on his shoulders, and started to walk away. <span style='color:blue'>"Somehow,"</span> he replied, <span style='color:blue'>"I think you might be right."</span>

  4. <span style='color:green'>"Why wouldn't it be good?"</span> Thyme asked in great confusion. Of course it was good. He'd written something and it was worthwhile. It was a little pointless, but he liked it a lot and they had given him the inspiration for it so that was good for them too. And why wouldnÂ’t they be happy?

    Oh.

Maybe it wasn't good for them. He looked back down at the book, then up at them with the most innocent smile he could manage. Then he slammed the book shut and shoved it deep into his bag. He laughed a little nervously.

    <span style='color:green'>"Soooo...how 'bout that weather?"</span>

  5. <span style='color:purple'>"What weather? It's so dreadfully normal that it almost kills me,"</span> Uka said from her high post with a sway.

<span style='color:blue'>"I kinda wish we'd get some rain, that tree over there is looking particularly thirsty,"</span> Qyth added.

Uka looked down at Qyth, <span style='color:purple'>"How do you know it's thirsty? Can you talk to it?"</span>

<span style='color:blue'>"No, but the leaves are all dry..."</span> Qyth answered. <span style='color:blue'>"Much like the clay covering my hands. I think I should wash them soon."

</span>Then after a moment, <span style='color:blue'>"Do you want to go play with clay, Thyme?"</span>

  6. <span style='color:green'>"Um...sure"</span> Thyme said slowly, not totally sure where this was going. He wouldn't have been surprised if Qyth had simply produced an enormous hunk of clay from thin air, but he decided to make sure. "<span style='color:green'>But maybe in a bit"</span> he added <span style='color:green'>"I want to sit in the sun for a little while longer. It's nice and warm."</span> Then again, after Sucam Island, almost everything was warm.

He looked idly across the courtyard, his gaze darting from 'dragon to 'dragon as he observed people's conversations. His eyes stopped on a pair of dragons, a grey female and a bright yellow male and he pointed them out to Qyth and Uka.
    <span style='color:green'>
"What do you think they're saying?" </span>he asked curiously.

Faer was sitting on the grass, bent over his lap. He had his portable tool bag next to him, and had one of these tools in hand. In his other he had what looked like a metal bat wing. In his lap was a small Machina hamster that already had one wing attached.

The hamster had been his first creation, and went with him everywhere. He had stopped the flow of energy from Fromina so he could work on it without it wriggling around. He was constantly upgrading the hamster, and had finally decided that it had had too many close calls with others feet. He thought about how happy his little friend would be without the constant need to dodge around people to follow him.

"There we go" Faer said as he checked to wings to make sure they would bend right. He reestablished the hamster energy and laughed as it fell to its side from one of the wings weight. "Squeek!" the hamster said in both indignation and shock. "Try them out" he sputtered, still laughing at the rodent.

The hamster took flight and circled his head, landing on his right shoulder. "Like them?" Faer asked. His reply was another squeek, this one in excitement, and the hamster took off again. Faer chuckled, until he saw his hamster hit a white 'dragon with a black stained muzzle in the head.

<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Okay, I prolly should wait to post, but I got hit, I get to write stuff.</td></tr></table>

Thyme swore loudly as his vision skiped and a hot, numbing pain washed over his head from the point of impact. He looked around. A strange creature looked up at him from the grass, it's metalic eyes gleaming. Thyme stared at it for another second while the pain receded slightly, then picked it up.

It was a hamster. A small chubby mechina winged hamster. And it had hurt like hell. It squeeked at him and ruffled its wings. Thyme blinked slowly.

<span style='color:green'>"Is this what I think it is?" </span>he asked, holding the animal up for Uka and Qyth to see <span style='color:green'>"Because it looks like a hamster."</span>

  9. <span style='color:red'>"Oh crap!"</span>Faer exclaimed, tripping over his bag as he ran over to group as they examined the hamster.
<span style='color:red'>"I'm very sorry, he must have gotten too excited over his new wings. I'm Faer by the way"</span> he told the group. He held out his hand and the hamster quickly flew into it, still shell shocked by the crash.

  10. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>sorry i'm late, stupid crap going on</span>

"<span style='color:blue'>Oh</span> <span style='color:purple'>my </span><span style='color:blue'>gawd</span>, <span style='color:purple'>it's </span><span style='color:blue'>a </span><span style='color:purple'>machine</span>!" both Uka and Qyth yelled. Uka leaned forward, stretching to touch the winged hamster, while Qyth leaned back trying to get away from it. The result was the two landing on the ground in a pile.

<span style='color:blue'>"Oof!"</span> Qyth said from the bottom.

  11. Thyme stared at the pile o' 'dragon, then turned to Faer in an attempt to ignore the other two who were trying to extricate themselves from each other.

<span style='color:green'>"Is this a hamster?" </span>he asked, pointing to it and peering into its shiny little eyes. He then looked up at the scaly 'dragon that stood above him. <span style='color:green'>"Did you make him? He's..."</span> Thyme stared, trying to think of the right word to describe the little mechanical animal. <span style='color:green'>"Cute"</span> he said decisively <span style='color:green'>“He is absolutely adorable."</span>

  12. Lujji was lying on the ground reading a book on sword craft. On the ground next to him was his bag, a flat box, and a physics refrence book. He had tried to study, but found it difficult. The reason being that the box contained a pair of wakizashi. They were his latest smithing project that he had only just finished. Since he was unable to study, he had picked up the other book instead.

A commotion caught his attention. There had been previous noise from that direction, but he hadn’t paid much attention. Looking around he saw A tall green ‘dragon running towards a group of three others. One of the group was holding his head and all were watching a small fuzzy thing zip around them. He gathered from the exclamations that there was something unusual about the small flying object. Stuffing the books in his bag, he picked up the bag and the box and went over to see what exactly the winged ball was.

  13. Faer looked at the 'dragon and his friends, and decided that he liked them, since most people didn't appreciate his hamster like he did.

<span style='color:red'>"Thanks"</span>said Faer, while the hamster started flying around the group, <span style='color:red'>"I was going for a cute pet when I created him"</span>.

<span style='color:red'>"So"</span> Faer asked the white 'dragon <span style='color:red'>"what's your name? And who are your friends?"</span>, and he motioned to the fey' and the anubi, who were almost done untangling themselves from each other.

  14. As Lujji got closer he could see the flying thing more clearly. Extremely interested at this point he walked over to the 'dragon holding it.

<span style='color:orange'>"Hey,"</span> said Lu walking up beside Faer, <span style='color:orange'>"Is that your hamster?"</span> He was watching the animal flutter its mechanical wings.

  15. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>POST ORDER! POST ORDER!!! IF YOU DON'T DEAL WITH A POST ORDER I WILL RIP OUT YOUR SPLEENS!!!!

Me, then Silverwind, then Aevar, then Bruno, kay guys??? Good.</td></tr></table>

<span style='color:green'>"I like it..." </span>Thyme said, slightly hypnotized by the little fluffy rodent. He nodded to Faer and Lujji from the ground. <span style='color:green'> "I'm Thyme. I'm actually not as crazy as I look right now, it's just I had a bad experience with a pen and...well, you know how it goes."</span> He shook his head slowly, in an exaggerated motion. His dark eyes surveyed the other two 'dragons, taking them in and analyzing them in his writer's mind, adding more adjectives then were strictly necessary.

  16. Qyth and Uka disentangled themselves and followed suit in introductions. Qyth spoke as he picked up Uka like a doll and put her in his lap, <span style='color:blue'>"Hi, I'm Qyth, I like to sculpt things and cook... a lot... do you need anything cooked?"</span>

Uka reached up for the hamster again, looking at the two new 'dragons, <span style='color:purple'>"Damn! If I threw the hamster off a building 30 meters high on a planet with a gravitational pull of 5 m/s, how long would it take for him to go ker-splat and would he survive if it was a real hampster?"</span>

Uka stretched in Qyth's arms for the hamster, <span style='color:purple'>"Gimmie da hamsterrrrrr!!"</span>

  17. <span style='color:red'>"Uuuuhh"</span>was all Faer could say as he was still processing Uka's rambling. His hamster, on the other hand, was taking a proactive solution and had flown into his shirt to hide. <span style='color:red'>"I don't think he wants you to drop him"</span> Faer told Uka, feeling the hamster quivering slightly as it crawled to his back. Faer was laughing a bit now, both at how Uka was reacting to his hamster, and how his hamster was reacting to Uka.

  18. Lu was a little taken aback at the random questions. After blinking a couple times and running the rate of fall formula through his head backwards, he said in quick succession <span style='color:orange'>"No I don't need anything cooked right now thanks, it would take three seconds, and can I examine that hamster after she has?"</span>

He watched with mild amusement as the Feydragon tried to reach for the hamster, and the hamster climbed up the green 'dragon seemingly uncertain it was safe.

  19. Thyme observed everything quietly, his eyes closing slightly. The sun was warm and he was growing tired, happy to just watch the others and their craziness. He leaned against the tree, grinning slightly, and waved to Qyth in a lazy manner, a cross between a beckoning motion and an imitation of a very tired butterfly. He just wanted to sit there and take in the sun, which was warm and pleasant on his fur. He liked it here, mostly because of the lack of snow. Much as he loved the cold, he loved the warmth more.

  20. (OOC: no one say a word about how late I am...)

Qyth saw Thyme's gesture out of the corner of his eye, but was currently preoccupied with the metal hamster sitting on his head. He leaned forward to offer it to the new fey who had requested for it while he also tried to keep Uka from molesting the poor little thing.

Suddenly, Uka leapt out of Qyth's arms and landed on Thyme with another satisfactory "oof!" where she then settled down for a nap.

Qyth, even though he could see the distress of his counterpart, had to work hard to restrain his laughter.
