Akira looked at him embarrissed "don't worry about me I will heal in no time I'm just worried about you."
"Stop worrying about me." He told her, putting his hands on her shoulders and turning her around so she was facing him. "Worry about yourself. " He said, staring into her eyes.
"No, But you are the one with a hole in the shoulder." He replied, smiling and noticing how close they were. If I move forward just a little...no no no, i will not ruin this friendship. He thought, blushing again.
"Yes but my wound will heal quickly, but yours won't." She also noticed how close they were getting but didn't seem to move away.
"Akira, I-I-Iloveyou." he said, getting the last part out as fast as he could, knowing that it was now or never. He blushed again, and silently prayed to fronmia she felt the same way.
Akira kinda giggled "well it's about time you said something." Akira knew all along how she felt about her just by the way he acted.
Lukhan pulled her into a hug, stroking her back and inhaling her scent, letting himself relax. "You already knew didn't you?" He said, already knowing the answer to the question. "So why didn't you say anything?".
"Because i wanted to hear it from you. I wanted to hear you say those words." She said whispering it into his ear.
"So how long did you know?" He asked, still holding her tightly. "And what is your response to my statement?" He asked, nuzzling her neck.
Akira smiled "I knew a little bit before our fight with that murder." She then nuzzeled him back "and i do love you as well."
Lukhan pulled back a little, staring into her eyes. He moved his head forward and softly kissed her, feeling like lightning had struck him. His arms circled around her back and pulled her close again, not wanting this to end.
Akira did not push him away as she enjoyed the moment. Then it struck her, "Lukhan what about your wound?"
Lukhan suddenly felt all the pain he had been ignoring hit him at once. Tears brimmed in his eyes as the pain seared through him. "I just remembered about it, and now it hurts like heck." He said, taking one of his hand off her back and grabbing his stomach, noticing some of the blood. "Screw this, its not gonna heal without help." He said, grabbing his tail and sticking it in the wound. The wound sizzled for a few seconds, and the blood stopped flowing out. "I'm okay..." He said in a semi high pitched voice, pulling his tail out of the wound.
Akira looked at him "yea you sure sound like your ok," she said in somewhat of a sarcastic voice. She then pulled out the other half of the torn blanket and began to wrap it around him.
"What, I just cauterized it so it would stop bleeding." He said, helping her bandage his wound. "I think your cloth needs changing too." He said, pointing at the cloth he had wrapped around her shoulder.
Akira looked at her bandage as she finished his. Slowly she began to unwrap it. As she did it seemed to have healed slightly hardly bleeding at all. "I don't have anything else to cover it with."
Lukhan ripped part of the new bandage that hadn't been stained. He put it on her shoulder, quickly securing it. "Better, aside from the blood that got on your fur from me." he said, pointing to her stomach.
"Good point." he said, hugging her again. He body fit berfectly with his, his head on the crook of her neck. He layed back against the the cave wall, still holding her gently.
