Akira began to look around a bit "how big is this thing?" she asked knowing that she had always stayed by the door when she ventured outside.
"I dont know, but I think that this is a bad situation, especailly considering neither of us know where we are and its freezing cold, and we cant fly because we might hit something." He said, counting off on his fingers what was going wrong. "There is a cave around here, its the best we can do."
Akira looked over at him "I wish i did know this place better but i have only been here for about a week, and even if you did want to fly i couldn't because my wings fell like heavy ice cubes."
"Ya I know. I havent been here very long either, but i feel a cave. Follow me." He said, grabbing her hand and walking towards where he "felt" the cave.
"felling the presents of a cave?" she thought to herself "that sounds a little strange." But she just went along with it and him and hoped that he was right.
"Its a figure of speech. I can hear the air going in and out of a cave, it makes a certain sound. Its difficult to hear, but i can make it out." He said, pushing a bush aside. "And my hearing was correct." He said, pointing to the cave in the cliff face.
"You know it is rude to read others thoughs," she said softly. She then looked towards the cave "but i guess you were correct."
"Sorry." He said, stepping into the cave and grabbing his tail and moving it around searching. "Nothing else here, so we should be safe." He said, sitting against the wall.
Akira slowly entered the cave behind him focusing her eyes so that it was easy for her to see what was around her. She then ventured a little further into it.
A small roar echoed throughout the cave, causing lukhan to look around. "Um he heh heh, I'm hungry." He said, sweatdropping and putting his hand on the back of his head. "You got any food with you?" He asked, glaring at his stomach.
Akira stoped and turned around to look at him. She then nodded and threw her side pouch towards him "you can eat what ever you want."
"Thanks." he said, taking out a few things and throwing it back to her, eating the food. "I owe ya one." he said, smiling at her.
She nodded "i'll remember that," she then wraped the side pack back around her waist and continued to look around.
"Now what, its not going to be moring for a few hours." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "You tired?" He asked, standing up and walking beside her.
"Thats a good thing to have. I'm gonna get a little sleep, unlike you, I need to sleep everyday." Lukhan said, curling up against the wall and wrapping his wings around himself. "Wake me in a few hours, okay?"
Akira gave a light nod and walked off over to the entrance of the cave to watch the snow fall upon the ground.
Lukhan drempt while he slept. It was akira and him, just chatting on the grounds when something snached her. He ran after it, and as he found it, it had knocked her out and was going to strike at her neck. "Oh no you don't." he yelled, charging and knocking the figure away into a tree, which fell on him. As he went over to akira, he found she was almost dead. "Akira..." he said, seeing her smile at him one last time before she fell limp. He woke up, drenched in a cold sweat and shaking, worried about his dream. {The worst part is, they almost always come true.} he thought, looking over at akira.
