"No...there are lessons for both of them to be learned from this fight. Meelemar needs to learn more about uniting if there is a greater enemy at hand. Amano needs to learn that his transformation won't save him everytime. Once they have learned this I will free Amano...for he will have passed the test of the temple and will never be able to return to this temple. Though he may show up in one of the others, he will never be able to find me again though. Just like all the others who pass thru here, they die or pass the test." Hathor stared down at her black nails and had a very serious look on her face. "More die then pass though. It used to be the other way around, but now more die then pass the test. Then again it used to only be Anubi who passed through here. Now more of the other kind pass thru Kosa, Fey, and all the others. The Anubi have forgotten their past...they are too worried about their future now. All that is left of the old temples is ruins...The old kind are even fewer. The Children of the Darkness have been forgotten, the ways are undone. The keys to what happen have been swollowed. Self-perservation is all that is left, this is what happened to the great Anubi, this is all that is left." She closed her eyes and smirked. She missed the days when the temple was littered with Anubi training and they outnumbered the Cats. Those days were gone though, they could be brought back...If the answers were found.
Kyofu looked on towards the battle down below as her eyes danced over the last of the Deep Dwellers. She glares a bit and reaches her hand up to her lips resting it there for a short moment listening to the words of her beloved Hathor. Shakes her head lightly at a few of her words but for the most part she merely agreed to what she said. "The old ways...are pointless anymore if you was ever to step foot out of this temple. One glimps at your surroundings and you will come to realize that the old ways could never compare today." She spoke softly closing her hand into a fist and drwing it away from her face. She shifts her weight and moves over towards the other side of the platform looking off of it at that of a single shard that never came within contact of the sand. For being energy and magic of her own, it was defient. Shakes her head lightly and looks over her shoulder towards Hathor at the end of her words then moves back over to her reaching that of her lower set of arms about her waist from behind. "You and the rest of the Anubians will have to make a choice...and when that time comes..." she trailed off leaned her head against Hathor's shoulder. Gently leans in and places a soft kiss on the side of ner neck before breaking away. "I will be waiting with the keys." She spoke in a soft, kind of lustful tone before kissing Hathor's neck once more.
Neadvas lifted the heavy scimitar slicing upwards at the charging Dweller. A long deep cut across the creature's chest bled freely. Neadvas smirked as he glanced another blow directed at his shoulder. He would have a few scars and scratches coming out of this but nothing he did not mind. He rammed the Dweller with his shoulder, knocking it off balance, causing it to stumble back a few steps. He straitened up and glanced where Amano had been. A little red flag went up in his mind before he had even looked. His eyes worried, he looked around once again and found Amano laying on the ground a ways off. He let out a sigh of relief and turned back to the Dweller. It charged at him and he lifted his blade to glance yet another blow but the creature was ready for that. He was dealt a fierce blow just below his ribcage. The wound went deep and even Neadvas could not help but let out a stifled growl. With vengeance in his eyes he lifted the blade once again and sliced through most of the creature's midsection. It did its best to complete one final blow at Neadvas but failed and crumbled to dust. Neadvas sighed in relief and stumbled over toward Amano, shifting back into Meelemar as he did. She dragged the blade along next to her, being weaker than Neadvas and barely able to wield the blade with such a wound. She could feel it healing, but she still struggled under its influence. She hovered over Amano, mischief in her eyes. She lifted her free paw and unsheathed her claws, waving to him mockingly. With what little strength she cared to muster she lifted the heavy blackened scimitar.
The Tmu on that of Amano's backside lifted his head up unaffected by what took place with his host. He released a short hiss before smiling down on Amano. He shook his head lightly before slipping his eyes shut and dropping lifeless against Amano's left shoulder. After a few moments of no motion, Amano's body began to move and his eyes regained their luster before changing face and becoming red. He released a hiss and reached a hand along the sand and pushing up on it. He comes to bring himself up onto his hands and knees before standing to his feet. "Ah...so good to have a chance to run the puppetmaster." He spoke releasing a deep sigh and turning his eyes up looking on to Meelemar. He smirked and swung out that of the blooded hand taking hold of her about her face, just over her muzzle. "Feel it...smell it...give it quick taste." He hissed to her before spinning around behind her in a quick motion without removing her hand from Meelemar's muzzle. His other hand reaches up and takes hold of her other paw that held the blade weakly. Draws it down from over the top of her and forces the blade from her hand. Shakes his head lightly and extends his tongue slipping it up along the side of Meelemar's neck tracing two claws up and over her wrist which he held. "Delicious...and pretty all at the same time. But yet despite your victory over the anicent ones...you've failed to kill us."
Meelemar was quite taken aback by Amano's sudden offence. She might have reacted quicker had she not been so surprised. Before she could reposition the heavy weapon he was upon her. She was about to wrench her face away from his bloodied paw when, with a swiftness she could not have predicted considering his previous condition, he spun around behind her. She growled angrily, she did not like being made a fool of. She felt the blade forced from her hand, not able to put up much of a struggle for it's weight. She should have gotten a different weapon. She could feel Amano's tongue on her neck and she wrenched away in disgust, letting out a low growl. Her nostrils were filled with the smell of the blood on his paw, so near. She resisted for her pride would not let her give in. It was tempting and she felt her mouth watering. It took a good deal of her will power not to give in to his suggestion. No one should hold this much power over us. She thought with a grimace. His last comment was too much for her pride to take. She had failed. "Then let us fix that." She hissed through clenched teeth. She unsheathed her long claws of her free paw and swiftly reached behind Amano and dug her claws into his back, dragging them across it. She wrenched away from his grip on her face. With an evil smirk she lifted her paw to her mouth and tentatively licked her claws clean of his blood. "I can get my own."
Amano only laughed as little Meelemar sliced into his backside. He reaches that of his blooded hand up into her direction before turning his back on her, showing that of his claw wounds healing instantly like the lizard. Licks his lips lightly and Turns his eyse back over his shoulder towards her with a grin as he threw out that of his blooded hand throwing the crimson fluid away from him causing the few little dropps that left his hand to spread out and change into crimson shard of metal. He laughs once more and takes a step back before kicking up the heavy blade from the ground wielding it easily. "Comeon...little Meelemar. Take my life...soak your flesh with my blood. Feel the power that flows from it." He spoke in a insane and evil tone with his eyes wide and red. He lunged at her swinging the blade down throwing sand up from the ground with it before spinning it around with the dull edge trying to hit her with it. "Comeon surely that isn't all that you have! Comeon! Comeon!" He spoke with a scary laugh as he continued to swing it.
Meelemar's little moment of joy was short lived. She realized this was not the Amano she had been sent to kill before. This pendragon was different. A sudden wave of dread flooded through her. Snap out of it! Neadvas's voice echoed in her mind. She suddenly found herself weaponless against a mad pendragon. would have quickly leaned down to the floor to conjure up another weapon for herself but Amano lounged at her. She bounded backward, dodging the first strike. A bit of sand from the impact found its way to her eye and she was able to move a great portion out of the way but did not quite move fast enough. She dull edge caught her side, enough to send her to the floor. She scrambled backwards and managed to stand up between the endless barrage of attacks. She needed to think of something quick, but she did not have enough time between attacks to conjure up a weapon to defend herself. For a while she mindlessly dodged the attacks best she could, getting nicked here and there. Finally she thought of something. Under her breath she started to utter a few words. When she was finished she lifted her paws and a large wall of sand rose with them. She willed the sand forward and flung it at her assailantÂ’s eyes. She dove to the floor hoping she could buy enough time to get another weapon. She silently recited the inscription and pulled another bladed staff. She whirled around and got to her feet, more ready for him this time.
Amano came to a stop and threw that of his left arm out knocking away the sand from his eyes. He drops his arm back to his side and leans his head back and to the side looking at her with his red pupil eyes before extending that of his, baring a set of fangs. "Very good...little Meelemar. You have gotten around my offense long enough to arm yourself." He spoke glaring at her and extending his tongue out long before drawing it back into his mouth. He laughs aloud once more and tosses the blade up into the air with such force that it came back down twice as fast slamming blade first into the sand stone floor all the way through the 7ft of sand. Licks his lips lightly once more before closing his eyes and leaning his head down. "It seemed a little unfair to be armed against you. So I will just use my fists." He spoke to her lifting his eyes once more as they changed color once more to a grayish blue color that seemed to coat the walls of the pit. He wasn't Amano at all...no it wasn't him. He laughed evily once more and stumbled into a strangely relaxed position waiting on Meelemar. "Come on little girl...try and hit me. If you can." He spoke as his eyes rested upon her.
Meelemar ignored Amano's comments, something she could only do for so long. She watched the tossed blade out of the corner of her eye, not daunted by the show. This was all fine by her, not she was facing a foe without a weapon. Insane though he may be he was still mortal. She gripped her staff tighter, wrenching her face into a wild eyed snare. Her first instinct was a smirk but she did not want to risk looking even more foolish by having another smirk wiped from her face. However much willpower she had, her nerves gave way at his last comment. With a burst of speed surprising to even her she charged at Amano. With her staff ready infront of her she took a quick slice at the neck, ducked to his side bringing the blade through with her and taking another swipe at his side. She swung the other side around, jumping up and bringing the blade down, meaning to land at the top of his spine. However much damage she did she could not tell, everything had been a blur. Her anger got the best of her and she went all out with her speed, though her strikes were still not as powerful as they could have been. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Eeeeevil shortness.....</td></tr></table>
After feeling the last strike to his body, Amano was knocked to the ground. His blood was spilt on the sands coloring them a crimson red. He winces in pain for a short moment before lifting hismelf back up onto his feet holding his severly wounded side. "Very good little girl. You managed to really do me some harm..." he spoke to her with a bloody cough, spitting it on the ground. Shakes his head lightly before dropping back down onto his knees. That of his mind was battling to gain control over the Tmu that was ruling for the moment. He shakes his head once more and that of his eyes faded back to the orginal color. Amano lifts his eyes up slowly from the sand and looks to Meelemar. He looks up into her eyes before dropping his eyes once more to the bloody pool that was beneath him now. "Damn...I guess I took a rather nasty fall..." he spoke once more before dropping his eyes towards the ground with them going dull with death. He slumbed over against the sands and lied there on his back. That of his dark eyes looked up towards the floating platform that looked so much like the top of a tomb, sealing away his fate. "I...can't save myself...and never was able to...I see that..." his eyes glazed over fully as he began to slip into darkness. "...now." The darkness took hold of him drawing Amano down into it.
Meelemar almost lost her balance at the last blow. Her sudden burst of energy took its toll and she suddenly felt very weak. She steadied herself with the staff and managed not to show her exhaustion too much. She looked down at Amano as he changed back. She allowed herself a smirk. She eyed the blood covered sand, licking her lips hungrily. Careful not to stumbled she walked closer to his failing body. It had been a fun match, if not a worthy one. He was truly a great fighter but the madness in him had let him down. She knelt down beside him and, sliding her paw down the staff's stem. She whispered into his ear. "There is no reason to waste such a worthy pendragon." The comment was almost taunting. She slid her face down to his neck, savoring the moment. She opened her mouth, her long bleach white teeth skimming his flesh before stabbing into it. She drank unsparingly, not letting a single drop more of her prize fall to the ground. It was a feast she had not tasted the likes of for quite a time. After a while she felt the blood flow growing thin. "You are turning him, remember?" for a moment Meelemar ignored the voice, wishing to drink it all, just a little more. Reluctantly she withdrew her fangs and stood up with the help of her bladed staff. She looked up at the platform above, licking her lips of stray crimson droplets and smiling wildly.
Hathor reached back in surprise, this one was stronger then she thought. Not to mention insane. "He's mad! Something is not right here...I knew he was an Ancient one, but he is diffrent from others of his kind that have come here. Most do not react like this...I have never seen such power, or madness." Hathor's surprise was seen in her eyes. She gave a look at Win to be ready to pounce if he came with in jumping distance. This tail of his, it had to be some source of his power, and the source of the madness. It was two beings in one body...two souls one mad, the other more logical. It was ovious which is which. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry my computer died for a while and then my dad killed the network so I had no internet</td></tr></table>
Kyofu smirks lightly at the whole scene before shaking her head and looking back over towards Hathor. "You haven't noticed the change in him from the moment of how he seemed so weakened then up and back at full strength with another? You are slipping my dear Hathor." She spoke with a smirk before turning her eyes back down onto the bloody sand glaring abit. She slips her eyes closed lightly as her body broke into tiny bits of sand, blowing away. She reappears on the stands reaching her hand up slipping it along her head lightly looking over towards Meelemar. "I think he is spent...so just let him alone now...little Meelemar." Kyofu spoke with a smirk moving to Amano's side kneeling down, taking hold of him about the arm. She lifts her eyes back up once more looking towards the shocked Hathor before vanishing into sand as before with Amano. Reappears on the platform and releases his arm from her grasp turning him over with a pushing of her foot. Amano just lied there lifeless with that of his blood still flowing from a source that wasn't visable to the naked eye. He gasped aloud suddenly and began to morph into his reptilian form. He grasps his hands into fists as the wounds sealed up covering over with scales. He parted that of his eyes hissing like an angry aligator awaken suddenly from a long day's rest. He lifts himself up into sitting position turning his eyes directly to Hathor getting up so quickly and up behind her. Reaches his much stronger grasp about her arms pinning them back behind her back. "A shame that we couldn't be friends..." he spoke in a tone that sounded as if two voices was over lapping one another. His large serpent head comes up and rests on her shoulder before he slips his tongue along the side of her neck. Kyofu looked towards the two of them reaching her arms up and crossing them over, watching as the reptile Amano, attempted his best to arouse her, even try to seduce her. She shook her head lightly and looked back down on Meelemar with a smirk hearing the sounds of Amano's breathing and Hathor's rasping sighs.
Meelemar watched as Kyofu appeared and took Amano. After she had left she directed an angered sneer in the general area where she had been. She asumed that Kyofu had taken him back up to the platform and a moment latter her suspitions were assured for she heard the voice of Amano echo down to her. She smiled widely, feeling her strength returning. She took a deep breath and stabbed the staff into the sand beside her. Going back down on all fours she bounded happily across the sand under the platform. Apon ariving at a certain spot she had picked out she paused. She looked up to see if Kyofu was still watching her. Satisfied, she let a giddy little expression of joy crawl across her face. She started to prance around in small circles humming a victory tune to herself. She started to skip and bound across the sand and then she stopped and sat contently on the ground. She let out another happy sigh. She could here Neadvas continuing her little tune in her head. She looked up at the platform and put on a more apropriate face. Neadvas continued his victory song, unseen but Meelemar joined in with him silently.
Hathor closed her eyes smiled. "I underestimated him...maybe I am slipping." She walked to the tip of the platform and yelled out. "The game is over, Amano, what you seek you already know and has been told to you. There will now be one less question in this world." With that a black portal opened underneath him, swirling like a black void. On the other side he would find himself outside an oddly familular town. Never to find this temple again. Any Anubi would denie this temple's existance, others would call it a dream. Some would belive him but dought his credibility. The two beingings in the temple the seemed to be as old as Ramath-lehi and the last of their kind... Then again... There could be more of them.
Kyofu watched as Amano was shipped out of the temple and dumped somewhere out in the middle of no where. She shakes her head lightly and lifts her eyes back to that of Hathor walking over towards her reach out her upper hands placing the about Hathor's face so that she could get her to her. "So this is the last time Amano is going to step foot into your temple? How dull of you." Kyofu spoke with a smirk drawing her hands back and dropping to her sides. She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly before her hand up and placing it to the side of her neck at that of her bite marks recieved earlier. Shakes her head lightly and slips her eyes closed swaying a bit here and there as the little white Cucu came up and grazed against her flamed leg. "You need to leave this place...Hathor...it has changed you a great deal since the anicent times." Kyofu spoke staring down at the cheerful Meelemar as she hummed and bounced about.
"Its the rules, once they enter and if they make it out. They may not return unless they are Anubi. I have left this place before, only at night though, the Sun hurts to much. I was not impressed, the other creatures are strange and almost heathen to me. I've seen what they have done to the old warriors. The government is corrupt and if I see correctly, something will befall them that will cause more damage. Our people arn't even represented in the government even if they wanted to be, they most likely couldn't. The people are divided, those against the Graders and those for the Graders. It seems that things are not better then they used to be. But as it be, it is my duty to stay in the temple and have others come and discover their own secrets and such. It is the way that it was ment to be." Hathor sighed. Her temple was the thing she loved the most. Why she kept the spirit of it alive. The temple had secrets no one would understand, everything was recorded on the walls, everyday the labrinath grew longer, yet above the temple one could not tell, it seemed to go on forever, yet if it did, then why did it not take up all of Ramath-lehi? That is a mystery no one may answer...
Kyofu on the other hand during the speech of Hathor merely shook her head and looked down on the still happy Meelemar as she laid there on the sand bobbing her head here and there. Kyofu smirked and reached her upper left hand up and rubbed the back of her ear in thought before turning her eyes back and looking upon Hathor with a quirked brow. "So...what does that mean for your um...'sex life'?" She spoke doing the whole finger quotion things with all four of her hands. Kyofu smirked and moved over towards her coming up on Hathor leaning in close to her face looking into her eyes, just waiting for a response. Slowly her eyes became lazy with wait then she just reaches her hands up taking hold of Hathor head in upper set of hands, planting a heavy and undeinable kiss upon her lips. After a short moment she breaks away from the kiss slipping her tongue along her lips, panting a bit. She steps back and drops her eyes towards the sandstone flooring of the platform. She shakes a bit then moves over towards the edge of the back stepping off of it, causing her body to drop like a stone to the sandy bottom below. Just before her body goes down with a thump, Kyofu throws out her lower set of hands to her sides before summoning the Hell Chains that flowed within the depths of the world. They blast out away from her hands, inked in her blood from coming out of her flesh, and anchor themselves in the opposite walls causing herself to slow almost to a stop before breaking off from her flesh and shattering against the temple walls in splattered blood. Kyofu stands there on the sand floor wincing a bit from the chains break her flesh. She lifts one of her hand up looking to the dark crimson fluid that dripped from them before calling back up all the sand returning them back the forms of sandstone blocks as they was before.
Meelemar kept up her victory hum and dance for a while. The giddy and anoying mood that came with other's defeat was the strongest bond that she and Neadvas had. They varied in other aspects, though quite a good deal were still very similar. Yet this was their only absolute likeness. If it were possible to see them side by side they would both be doing a moronic little dance. She was well into her performance when she heard Kyofu decending from above. She imediately stopped and was still, a disquieting smirk was all that remained to tell of her previous mood. She watched Kyofu with wary eyes. And restrained a light growl.
Hathor was taken aback, her eyes were wide. This was something she hadn't been expecting. It brought her back to the days in her mind, days when the Anubi were great and she came above, only at night mind you or in a temple. Now if she came out it was to kill only, or if one of the Priests who still knew of her had something urgent. What priests were left, only a very few of them knew of her. "Maybe its time I take to the surface for once..." She thought, She would meet Paush or the Priests, she hadn't gone out in years...So many had been coming to her door. She looked down at her hands. Her whole life had been to protect the Anubi from the outsiders, and help them along. She had failed them, now their world was gone...Was hers? Or was this just the begining. She noticed Kyofu jump down she followed in a little less messy fashion. A smoky shadow spiral staircase appeared. She walked down it gracefully. The blue cat faded out and was replaced by the white one who walked right behind her, his tail erasing the staircase. These cats were more magical then one could think. She made it to the last floor and looked around. Sometimes she wondered why this place had to be so empty now but, its just as well. She turned to Meelemar "Well done my friend, I hope that was good fun for you. Another will come soon...they always do." She smirked half heartedly. They came they went...thats all dragons did they come they leave never living in the moment. Guess thats life
