As one of the Fade's dealt with Draconan the other one sprang into action, running again at Damien. This time though he summoned up some magical energy and twisted it into a long thin shape, it wrapped around his arm in a mass of black swirls. When it was finished it was clear to see it was some kind of sword forged from death magic. He brandished it high as he charged with his rabid tongue hanging out and letting out a new war cry, whooshing the blade though the air. Other green eyes began to stare out of the darkness now, just watching though but giving people a disturbing feeling as the number of eyes ever increased. The Fade's crawling out from the vile hiding places, the sewers, the pits, even the water. There was many of them.
Damien during this time had been staring at his blackened wing. Almost in a trance like state. A war cry - not from him- snapped him back into reality. Oh shi- was the first thought that crossed his mind, then his survival instincts kicked in. His eyes in that split second before he would have been skewered turned a ghostly white, as a simple downwards thrust of his good arm sent up a flurry of flames. The flames were roaring, it becoming apparent that this was a summoned creature of the elements. It looked - if one got the chance to compare- like a giant horned devil, the heat from it enough to cause global warming. A sheild of fire deflected the lethal blow of the black sword as damien finnally got a break... Until he saw the ever increasing amount of glowing eyes that is. He scanned around quickly for a means of physical defense, using his telekinesis to make a slice of street lamp fly into his hand. Damien then incased the shard in ice, to give better grip. His summoned creatures' fire, would not effect him
The Fade hissed dramatically as a wave of heat washed over him forcing him to flinch back, waving the sword around in a figure of eight in an attempt to keep the creature back. Thrashing his sword forward in attempted to stab the creature turned into a disaster as the sword exploded on contact with its arm, hurting the creature but doing nothing else. Fade let out a massive roar and just started to punch the creature unbelievable fast in the stomach over and over again, so fast that his hands turned to fiery blurs. The smell of his flesh burning with incredibly strong yet it didnÂ’t stop him, the creature stumbling backwards and fade continued to pummel it. He roared again as he pulled his first even further back, the crisped and backend flesh almost falling off. Then he smashed it forward with a impossible strength, it ripped straight through the fiery entity and his arm came completely out the back. The fire devil exploded in a shower off sparks that began to set Fade on fire, the wicked flames spreading from his arm upwards. However he was more than still alive and the incinerating Prendragon started to go for Damien again.
What was it with these things?! they had a determination worse than the tax man. Damien stood mouth open, in shock as fade mushed his fire demon into a chilli sauce. The ice was for some reason melting... Slowly the firey arm of doom reached towards him, longing to reap his corpse in with the countless others that had been killed. He would be sleeping with the fishes, if he didn't do something. Fades' arm was a stinking mass of burning flesh as fur dropped to the ground in raindrop-like fire. The creature lunged at him and in that split second before his neck was about to break he Slammed the metal shard through the windpipe of his foe. The sound of the dying breaths would haunt Damien for life... The high pitched shrill as Fade tried to breath was horrifying. The crunch of the metal against bone, the blood pouring out, splattering Damiens face. It made him want to be sick. Filthy halfbreed... Damien hissed as he kicked the vamp to the ground with a crack. His eyes staring until the green faded to black. Damien roared a challenge to them all, a deep resounding filled his own ears- it was his voice.
The eyes where staring at Damien through the darkness, slanted green orbs staring at him in hatred an anger. They were annoyed now, they had lost a few of there number now and they wanted to get even. They wanted pain and suffering, they wanted blood and tears and the souls of all. Four different Fade's strode out of the darkness each with a ball of black fire in there hands, strange tortured faces seemed to flicker out of the flames. "Die now" the chattered insanely like Hyenas, then in a perfect volley they launched the screaming fire with deadly accuracy. Just then though a rattling sound came from behind Damien. A man hole cover behind him fly open and a pair of arms reached out and grabbed him by the feet in an attempt to keep him help in place. The sound of laughter came echoing out from the sewers, the green eyrie glow could be seen faintly.
The black flames... were people... Damien narrowed his eyes to the tiniest of slits. The flame that surrounded his wrists and neck, grew in size and colour rapidly. A blue orb flickered from his hands and travelled up his arms. He thrashed about, his head shaking wildly from side to side. If it hadn't been for the Fade below holding him fast, he would have surely been in the air. The blue magick wrapped itself around the whole of damiens body, Slowly, even as the darkened flames soared towards him damien continued. e kull ogym sha panymt yv eka ump ull shus et dyyp! Umtfaj na! Tamp na ledhs ump fusaj! E kynnump shaa!!! Guestures made both of his arms swing - The broken one at a strange angle. The roar from his chest turned into an undragon scream as the mass began to bubble in front of them all. The flames scarred Damiens flesh and caused the stenchof burning become the norm. Damien was still alive though... The blue mass rose from the ground. Casting a bright light around them. Firing icy needles from it jagged jaw at the enemies.
The four fades had a battle plan and with numbers on there side they could afford to take losses. The in the sewers fell down with burnt arms from the blue and black mass, yet was impaled by a needle though the head as he fell burning, his small wings unable to save him. The other Fade's crouched down as the hail of ice flew towards them, yet instead of scattering the fourth Fade stood in front of them and took all the blows. His body was ripped apart, ice ripping into his soft and furry flesh sending oozing thick black blood splashing over the ice. The with a blistering speed they flew forward ripping though the bloody mass that saved them, they dived towards Damien with arms outstretched trying to reach him. They didnÂ’t have many Fade's left and they needed to save a few for making more, however their plan did not work so well. The first one was shot down by the storm of ice, cutting apart his body sending it crashing to the ground. The second one managed to shield himself with his arms, icicles imbedded into his forearms and muscles. Yet one ice spikes broke though his guard and entered his heart, forcing him to explode into a mass of black fire which burnt that last one to a crisp.
Damien collasped to his knees, cradling his arm carefully. The blue serpent of ice and light, had solidified intp its final form, and its' time in ramath was limited. The serpent tested the air, its white tongue flicking out from its mouth. The end of its' tail was still coiled around damien and it now was supporting him as he weakened, the serpent gazed at its master with its hollowed eyes and began its first thought. For a creature so large and full of destruction one would have guessed that the serpent was thinking of death and destruction, however, the only feeling that escaped were the ones of love and gratitude of seeing this world and breathing air as fresh as the mountains. It crooned to Damien, trying to restore his lost energy. So that when its time came, his master would survive. But until then, anything that came towards him, would be torn into worthless shreds. And in answer to its' thoughts it gave out a mighty screech in warning to those who strayed to near.
Fade walked out of the shadows, alone. His gaze fixed solely on the snake and its creator. He was the last but one fade, the other needed to go and make more, but this one was free to do as he pleasure. And the only thing that would please him would be the death of Damien. Unlike his brothers though he wasnÂ’t going to run head first into this, flailing around and that. His opponent was weak and there was no reason to rush, he would have the advantage if it wasnÂ’t for that snake. First he was going to see what it could do, then he was going to rip its head off. Then he was going to rip DamienÂ’s head off. And hopefully in that order too. Raising his hand and letting out a cry, "Sha yehjka uena yah" the corpse of his brethren began to move. At first they just shook on the floor, then they actually stood up and began to shamble towards the snake in a zombie like way. " Attack." The command was sent.
The poor serpent just stared at the rising dead. It knew that these weren't natural and that they meant harm... A hollowed orb glanced at its master. Protect. The sepent hissed at the undead as a warning, but they still trudged forward, empty eyes staring at it in an eternal, primitive hunger. It rattled its throat before spewing an icy mass on one of the dead. Now it opened its jaws wide and hissed again, this time making the earth shake with the frequency of the sound. The blue tail tightened around the master and cradled him off the ground - save he be eaten by these foul things. And once again the snake sent of a torent of icy shards at the advancing many. In sheer hope that he could stay alive long enough to kill them and hav his master live.
The Fade sneered at the snake as its ice shards cut thought them in a disgusting mass of slicing sounds. If Fade wasnÂ’t so twisted he might not have found it so appetising but seeing all the guts being spilled and body parts flying just made him hungry. Still he felt sorry for his little zombies, they meant no harm. Except to rip his flesh from his bones and chew on hsi tendons. "Gah, no fair." He said with a confused look on his face. He wasnÂ’t really sure how he could get back at them, but he was sure the summon wouldnÂ’t last forever. In fact he was sure of it, and he had all the time in the after life. He began working his little dead magic again, this time there wasnÂ’t any bodies to raise, so instead he would work a more darker magic. He took the raw souls of his fallen comrades, dark twisted and foul things they knew no end to their darkness. He combined them together in his hands, before releasing a steam on screaming black fire at them. Snarling and baring his fangs at her.
Ths blue serpent could only whine as Fade recycled the remains of his fallen comrades. Damien was still out cold, and she began to croon to him desperately as The black flames began to form. Damien was now bleeding profusely, blood covering the proximity of her tail. Worriedly she cradled him down onto the floor, in case it was her that was keeping the blood flowing from his veins. Thats when her attention was diverted back to Fade, of whom was now throwing the wicked mass of blackness at her precious master. She breathed a torrent of icy fire against the evil souls, but to no avail. And as the flames neared them, her simple mind grew into a creature of intelligence. Hissing At fade in a final bout of defiance, she summoned up her energy as a ball of light could be seen travelling up her throat and beamed towards the flames. A face off was apparent as the flames pushed the light back, and the beam pushed forward. And in a split second the air around the mass of energy exploded and the snake seemed to disappear in a pile of ash. Damiens summon was gone, and he was left open, if fade survived.
Fade laid sprawled out on the ground, his back smacked into the ground so hard that numbness had spread though his uber body. His arms where laid out but one was twisted completely around in the elbow joint, his body totally torn on half. Blood spewing and spluttering out of ripped and damaged organs as his legs and lower half were no where to be seen. Then. His eyes opened and a deep and guttural snarl released itself from his throat. With his one good arm he pushed himself over so he lay on his chest, then with an frightening amount of strength he thumped the ground, launching himself into the air towards Damien. Slowly rampaging his way forward, a trail of intestine and ichors of blood. "Gahrn" He roared as his pain levels increased, he was going to enjoy killing this one. He would turn him into one of their own, cursed to be a Fade and have your soul destroyed and changed.
Damien who had been unconcious for a large part of the fight finally rose from his bloody pool - all he could remember was a crooning noise - and upon looking at the pile of ash around him he knew his dear summon had went bravely. His gaze went over to Fade. His body was in two the organs spewing out like a fountain of gore. Fade stirred - Damien moaned - why wont he die?! Fade using his only good limb launched at poor damien - Damien whined again. Idea - Damien waved his hands around in a few simple guestures - A white flame rose from his paws and with one feeble attempt he threw the last of his magic at the vampire. Damien slumped once again, when he heard a small crooning noise. His beloved snake ,was now tiny - but alive. It crooned and slithered up his arm. Fromina had granted her life, for her heroic death. She sat upon her masters' shoulder and wathed with keen eyes at the enemy.
As Fade repeatedly landed and launched again towards Fade the snarling, drooling grin on his face was getting wider, even though the pain was excruciating. He had long ago lost his mind to pain and wasnÂ’t really going to complain about it now, it was at that point he finally noticed Damien awaken. The glee in his yes grow ever more as his victim could now see their death approach. But it was not to be as Fade soon discovered, the flame was launched as he was in mid air with no way to stir himself. His wings a blood and broken wreak of what they once were. He landed straight into the white heat, a scream let lose from his throat as the flame travelled straight down it. Combusting his body on contact and melting his flesh. He slumped into the ground, shaking and withering as he burst into flames, black smoke pouring out. Nothing remained. Except a pile of ash and dust covered bones.
Damien couldn't believe it - he was finally dead. HIs new pet crooned happily to him. Damien was weak however and spread his wings, and as he was about to take off. Thank fuck he's dead... Damien showered the area in blood as he flew off to the hospital, This was one battle he would remember for the rest of his life. One final look at the battle ground before going out of sight - scarred his mind and now his body.
