  1. <font color='#000080'>Aurora fell on her back, the ice cream falling to the ground beside her. "I thought you would know a place..." She got up, carefully avoiding the ice cream spill on the ground. "Where do we go?"</font>

  2. <font color='#000080'>OOC: Kirsch, are you somewhere around? I'll break the post order for now.

IC: Rallyn helped Aurora to her feet, then looked around, not really knowing where to go. Then an idea struck him, and had this been a comic book, a lightbulb would have appeared just above his head.
"We can just walk on until we find something," he suggested, taking a look down the street. It joined up to a larger lane, which was quite busy, with pendragons hurrying back and forth.
"How about that way?" he asked, pointing with his paw. He crunched up the last of his ice-cream, the cone crumbles slipping down his throat.</font>

  3. <font color='#000000'>OOC- Ahhh...sorry about that. >_< been sort of busy lately. I'll try to be more active now.

Hadara smiled gently at Aurora, and nodded at Rallyn. "That sounds like a good idea."

If she noticed his lack of response to her question, she didn't seem to notice, or at least, she didn't seem to mind.

Taking the last bite of her cone, her tongue flicked out, licking up the tiny drops of ice-cream around her nose. "That was good. Thank you."</font>

  4. <font color='#000080'>"It's fine, just forget about it," he repeated cheerfully, "or we'll never dig out of thankyous and apologies."

I would like to write that he smiled, but I can't. Because a smile had stayed plastered to the pendragon's face the whole time, its owner thoroughly enjoying himself.

He skipped down the lane, occasionally stopping if something caught his interest. A shiny pebble on the ground, or something in a shop window for instance. He was letting his thoughts wonder around a little, and they settled around a bright memory of his step-father.

"Say," he turned around to Hadara and Aurora, "Have you got a family?" He looked a little uncertainly at the Lyte girl; she had said something about missing her family, or not? The first moment she had seen him? Rallyn decided not to try to remember - the question has been voiced and it would not change a bit on it if he did eventually come upon it.</font>

A distant clock chimed the hour and Rallyn's ears perked up. His jaw dropped and he stood on his hind legs to get a better view of the clock that towered, propelled up on a church-tower, above Janardan's roofs.

"Oh dear," he said softly, dropping back to all fours, "My class begins in five minutes. I'm sorry, but I'll have to leave you! Hope you don't mind?" he asked uncertainly, looking in their faces. Yet then he glimpsed the hands of the clock move and he flinched, starting to run in the main direction of the Academy. As he retreated, one of his hands rose in a silent goodbye.</font>
