Woe looked at him softly...she was still, and quiet. THe words could not come to her, but she knew what he spoke were truths...but something was wrong. And she wept...sitting beneath his shadow she said, "They killed her..." but nothing more. The feeling she gave him was profound...and she brought him to her murder...it was not them all...just a select few...who chased her down...the others...the others ran...they could not kill her...the one...but they could not help her...
Paush hung his head. "I thought my people were all peace loving until that day, she scared me, but I did not hate her nor did I hate your father, for he was friend in mine eyes." He looked up toward the setting sun and sighed heavily as he thought about the pack. "Tommarrow's just another, another day to spend away...another sorrow, another plight..." He sighed and looked to the sky.
The pup looked at him sorrowfully, but replied in a happier tune, "So it was you then, that our motherly keeper would sit sadly for. For she kept us in high mountains, away from society. She knew it was wrong, I knew there was danger, but she would not speak of it. But she would sometimes bring us to the desert city, to your city. I remember because she bought us one Yjumbas fruit each...I cherished those times, as they were beautiful, and your city was beautiful. I feel your love for my father, you must be of such importance to him..." Then, a pang in her belly startled her as she felt warm for the first time in the presence of Paush...It was her calling...it was her destiny clawing at her, singing alluring songs to woo her softly to some unidentified knowledge...and she knew she must go, and leave him. And her tears flowed for she knew she had met the only link to her father....
He sensed that she must eventally leave so before doing so he must give her the last bit. "Your father was a high priest who loved his people...that love brought him to his death, he died of sickness and a broken heart when the plague broke out no one knows were it came from or how it started. Some blame your mother, other's blamed me...Me because I'm the only one who couldn't be blinded by it, because my eyes are like the tail flames of any pendragon. The plague kills the senses and then works its way down to to the organs as we discovered deestroying the bodies defences and their is no stoping it. Your father prayed for it to stop...your father was Umobet the Great" His eyes turned a slightly marroon color as he said this as if they darkened because of the sadness, almost as if he was crying, but he lacked tear ducts so he could not. His red eyes un-yielding to emotion except in color or in glow.
Woe looked up to him, and she kissed his eyes, and as the soft baby tongue touched his eyelids she instantly brought him to a new place... But this was different...this was not one of the visions as before...this was new...For every was real and everything could be felt, heard, touched and tasted...and what she had given him was a real memory. It was not a vision but a reality, and it was of the sweet times as a child Paush played in the sweet oasis in the desert...and he was a pup again, romping and careless...for Woe absorbed his sorrow, and instead of giving him the gift of sleep, she gave to him another, and it was one af happiness. She said to him, whispering, "Do not fear you past...Embrace you future...." and with that her large feet thumped quickly across the stone floor, and she lifted the awkward, heavy wings to the air...
Paush smiled as he thought about the happy times at the oasis and waved as she left. "If I ever see Suffer I shall tell her the past and tell her the future, when you meet again expect to see me..." He continued to wave till she was out of sight and then softly uttered. "I promise." He then looked at the water shrugged and hoped in laughing and playing like a small pup, the old one had found his happy place and would be there for quite a while...
Tobias walked litely into the temple. He looked about with azure orbs and nodded to himself. He went to a dark corner of the main room and sat laying his head into his paws. He sighed as he watched the motionless decorations
another pendragon flew into the temple, fur as blue as the night sky, and wings as red as blood. he went to the altar and prayed. "yh Sumutslutae, deba na sha tsjamdsh sy halg yshajt. e huba sjuemap lymd ump hujp, ump e myf vaal jaupi sy kyna sy iyo ump taac sha vemul uks yv ni sjuememd. ev iyo shemc na jaupi, deba na u tedm, ev iyo py mys, tgauc ump sall na sy kymsemoa ni sjuememd." as the pendragon stood up, he went to the center of the room, and sat.
