  1. Kilske smirked at Medhsnuja's 'request'. She had not questioned that the tests would be hard. An easy task was a worthless one and proved nothing. She decided that the little speech was to get them scared more than anything, but whether or not that was his intention, she was not daunted. After waiting for a couple of others, she walked over to the staircase with long silent strides. Unlike the others she did not feel the need to have anything to help her see in the dark. If anything, a light source would only maim her vision. She had excellent night vision since nearly her entire eyes could be said to be one large pupil and they took in every scrap of light that was offered. With a sigh she started to descend the stairway after the others. As she did only a slight pang of apprehension came over her but was immediately satisfied. "Never know when your will need a pocket knife." She thought as her paw instinctively went to her only weapon in one of her pant pockets.

  2. Nhadala nodded coldly as her thicky furred body slinked up wards apoun the slabbed throne Her audits flickered listening to his speech broad casted to the others whom stood in a shivering embrace before dissapering in the claustrophobia of a hall way as they plunged in to the dark ness her fur ruffled up like a medow of grass on a windy day. Watching the last bodice whip in to the submerging dark as she spoke quietly, her voice soft.

"you should place it harder for them.... something more challenging...in tactical mind not strength hun. they look like the group that would not work together well neither "

Her tail curled at the base of her ankles slowly as lips curled looking about up wards and to and fro some Daemons staring back at her with out a blink of their large demonic eyes standing where they were supposed to. Her pale eyes stared up then to Medhsnuja, lips curled in a private sort of smirk mrrring slowly arching a brow sharply laughter bubbling in the slender femmine throat.

" I am basically glad To see you to and glad that they didn't notice me?"

she only grinned showing the lumenceint teeth as her bodice remained perched on the edge of the marble throne.

Medhsnuja watched how each applicant behaved differently as they made their way to the first task. He was a little disappointed that no one refused, but showed to him how determined they were. Or afraid of what he could do if they hadn't. Either way. His crimson eyes were quite piecing as he watched them carefully, trying to analyse each person already to determine other useful skills.

He turned to listen to Nhadala when the last had disappeared into the darkness and smiled at her.

The first two tasks will determine their strength of minds. The last, well that's the more interesting one to watch.

He said softly to her in his husky voice before she spoke again. He mentally slapped his forehead as she told him what he'd forgotten.

I'm sorry my Queen. Of course I'm always glad to see you. I think they noticed you alright, just didn't pay any attention because they're concentrating so hard on what could happen to them in the next few hours. And anyway, they would have been blinded by your beauty if they'd looked properly

He said with a sly grin on his face before he remembered the 'dragons in the dark downstairs. He nodded to one of the Daemon guards who pressed another set of buttons to make the floor see-through for Nhadala and Medhsnuja to see down easily, but the ones they were watching wouldn't see them. He then projected his voice downwards to the applicants.

Straight in front of you are three doors. Each one has something different behind it. But all will be tricky, involiving you using your heads. I want one person to go into a room at a time to complete their task.

  4. Sulphea, being the first in line easily got to the doors first. "Well, right is always wrong, so I'll choose left" she said to herself as she casualy and confidently made her way accross the room to the left door. hmph... This had better be worth my time... oh well, here goes and she opened the door, turning up a dial on her visor and reaching her left hand into her trenchcoat as she flung it open, ready to face whatever came at her, knowing that she had faced even the chosen of ancient gods and won. and nothing could be worse than that... could it?

  5. Nhadala only flashed a strange smile that quarked on her lips slowly as her claws clicked on the marble platform with her pale coin eyes batting slowly at the wafts of air. Her wings with the newly repaired on fluttered a small flurry of ebony feathers before she spoke in a soft way a whispery caress to ones audits.

"You always call me Queen why is that? we are naught even married "

She was very proper in her small speech with a small laughter gurgling in the slender throat as her fingers crackled from tenting together and pressing down wards with the trusting of knuckles and placements. The thick lashes on her eye lids fluttered a little bit as if they were butterflies on a dark figureine, lips of ice curled up warming in to a liquidly water so pale and smooth and soft like silk or a babes blanket. Coughing slightly before flciekring a hand to the side lsitenign to him speak.

Medhsnuja smiled again at Nhadala and said softly in her ear

Well I want you to be my Queen. Queen of the S.O.B. Queen of me. Ruling side by side. Do you want to be my Queen?

He let silence set in the room they were in before he turned his attention to Sulphea in the first room. As soon as she entered the room, the door slammed shut behind her, locking her in. The room before her was very dimly lit and there was nothing in the room except for a large peculiar built-up object just in front of her. It was bizzarely shaped, with several openings large enough to fit an arm in up to the elbow. To describe it simply, it's a huge and giant puzzle with a deadly surprise. Deep within it somewhere lies a deamon creature that has the ability to permanently cause damage. But of course, Sulphea doesn't know that. Especially as there is no sound in the room apart from her own breathing.

Sulphea, your first task is to complete the puzzle. The completed puzzle looks like a large 3D mozaic of a Rapine. To move the pieces you must place your arm in one of the openings as far as it will go and lift it. The pieces aren't too heavy, so you should be able to manage with just one arm. The puzzle can be built up behind the pile in the space. One piece is already in place. Take your time and do not rush

His voice suddenly boomed in the room with Sulphea in it, penetrating the silence sharply and coldly before disappearing just as quickly as it had appeared. The first piece was in place, and was a front foot of the Rapine in a type of rectangle box...

  8. "aww...this is just great" Sulphea sighed "A lady like me stuck in a dark room doing jigsaw puzzles... and i didnt even bring a lifting machine... heh, I bet once I finish the puzzle it will turn into a rapine... oh well, might as well get this show on the road" And she launched her right arm into the hole on the highest peice and lifted.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>Okay, to get this REALLY moving, I'm going to imagine she's still lifting several pieces. In all the tasks I don't want to really make any more than 2 posts back and forth after the task has begun if that makes sense. o.O</td></tr></table>

Nothing happened when she lifted the first piece. Or the second, fourth, fifth or sixth. Each piece went smoothly into it's slotted place with no trouble. And the deamon creature still slept within a piece somewhere. Medhsnuja watched in aniticipation, a sly knowing grin on his dark muzzle.

    Then it happened.

He watched Sulphea go to pick up the last piece- the head. This was where the sleeping poision-spitting and biting serpent deamon was lying.... She only would have to put her hand in the tunnel-hole and slightly touch it with her finger and it would awaken......

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sulphea's Choices:

    1. Somehow managing to place the piece unharmed and without awakening the deamon
    2. The deamon gets poked slightly and stirs awake, but falls out of the piece from the other side and then tries to attack (you have no weapons)
    3. Her hand get's caught on one of the sleeping deamon's fangs and scratches it, releasing venom into her system but the creature does not wake.
    4. The deamon gets jabbed roughly in the face and it instictively bites, releasing deadly venom into Sulphea's system.

  10. Sulphea shoved her arm into the last peice and felt a jab in her arm. She jerked her arm out and saw the demon-snake hanging off her arm, still biteing in. "Damn snake" she screamed. She knew this snake, it had deadly venom. Venom that could kill in under a day. As she went to try to prize it off her arm with her free hand she saw a flash of light...

Sulphea was in a temple. A few of the stone pillars had collapsed and it was starting to cave in. She was surrounded by demonic creatures with crab like hands, and in front of her was a giant demon, twise her size, weilding a whip in one hand and a sword in the other. The demon swang the whip at her and as it connected she flashed back to the present day.

Sulphea had never been a great mage as she had a magical disability, but the memory of that moment in her head she could remember the spell she had used in that situation. Power grew in Sulpheas hands, as she touched the snake with her right and her palm with her left. The Snake instantly let go and burst into magical flames as her left arm was encased in magical ice.

"That should slow the poison long enough" she said to herself as, with great effort, she lifted the last piece of the puzzle on and said "Medhuja, do you hve the cure for this or am I going to have to go and get one myself? I dont enjoy my arm being encased in ice, it might give me a cold" in the same, ever ladylike voice.

  11. Nhadala Watched percariously lips pursing listenign to his words a slow dismal way yawning as a Minion or a mini demon scuttled behind Medhsnuja and herself. The wings wrapt about her upper torso shorting their feathers, flickering ears int he mess of white tendrils. Watching his back pale eyes flickere dunder curtains of velvet.

"Yes I do want to be your Queen but you have to Marry me. In public with my family there. "

She made it hard out of a simple task she wanted her family to know as much as he and his daemons knew of their bond. Watching the female down below lips quirked to the side if it was her discion the female would have to find her out anti venom to the poison coarsing in the veins. Nhadala wriggled her tial slightly as music played in side her mind.

Medhsnuja watched with and evil smile on his face as the snake deamon bit Sulphea. How much he was enjoying this! He shifted in his throne-seat slightly, his pearly white fangs glittering as he smiled. The anti-venom was avaliable... She had to go and fetch it though...

His ears pricked up as Nhadala spoke in answer to his question. His facial features became softer and the evil smile melted into one of pleasure.

Of course Nhadala. Whatever you wish shall be done, I promise. Weddings are the bride's important ceremony, her most memorable day. I want it to be perfect, just like you.

He took oneof her hands and raised it to his lips to softly kiss it. The moment was, annoyingly, interrupted by Sulphea calling to him. He looked down at the floor again and spoke downwards.

Yes you can have the antidote, BUT you must collect it yourself. At the end of the room is a doorway into a room with no light. The antidote is in a small vial on a pedestal in the center of the room. To reach it, you must use the ropes provided to get across the pit which contains more of the snake deamons.

The door became visable, as though it was previously hidden like a mirage. Medhsnuja rubbed his forehead with one hand, the other still holding Nhadala's, as he began to feel a little discomfort as usual when he used magic. He shook his head a bit and decided he'd just get the deamons to work for him rather than giving himself a worse headache

  13. OOC: due to the breaking of my home comp, i wont be able to post as often as i want to, but Ill try my best to keep up

"Oh, you do so love to make this as complicated as possible, dont you" Sulphea said, not really to Medhsnuja but just to the world in general. She walked towards the glowing light, reminded faintly of one of the numerous dungeons, whos traps were alike to this one.

The pain in her left arm was immense and it brought back memories... terrible memorys that she would rather forget about. She reached the light and said "...oh, this is just great" in the most sarcastic tone she could manage.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry about the long wait. The last few weeks have been absolute hell. x.x I'm back(ish) now so I'll try and post. No guarantees of my usual standard though. I've not slept for 3 weeks. Damn insomnia....</td></tr></table>

Medhsnuja watched as she entered the room. The snake-deamons twisted and hissed, spitting poison venom everywhere. There was just two ropes. One roughly about floor level, presumably for feet, and the other higher up for her hands. The only light was the glowing eyes of the deamons which glittered in every colour imaginable.

    She ought to act fast...

  15. hmph... no time for games, I ought to do this the easy way She said to herself as she prepared another spell. She was going to have to go a little more easy on her spells in the future as she needed to maintain a clear head and thats the last thing she could do after a few big spells. Sulphea put her hand to the rope at her feet, said a few strange words and it transformed into an icy pathway. At the same time sheets of flame spilled from her left hand into the pit of snakes. that ought to keep em confused for just about long enough and without second thought she dived across the sheet of ice.

  16. Nhadala watched him slowly small concern twisting her facial features, lips pursed slowly about to speak but quiets her self in to thoughts as she watched with him slowly carvingout thoughts more. Pearl tendrils filtered over sharp occuli hiding some emotions that pained her heart a little bit in thoughts of her familia and their strange intrest in Necromancy. As to this aspect it was embaressing, as she watched the female twist about to get a vial of anti venom..how boring it was for her.

Yawn peeled in the silence of a magic frequencies, ears flitting back and pressing on soft locks. The moves of the female seemed recond to be easily countered or predicted in a tactical eye. Breath seeped out wards then in again, Nhadala's boredom increased in a frightful friction.

  17. Sulphea twisted in mid air and grabbed the vial just as a serpent was about to bite her ankle. Happy with her victory she charged back over the ice, her claws barely preventing her from tripping and took a gulp off the antitoxin. "Hey, you couldnt have made this taste any worse if you tried, you know that?" she shouted into the darkness. "Ok, is that all or do you have anything else I have to do?" she challenged

  18. [OOC]Hey guys.

Because this thread really is dragging and I want to get S.O.B. involved into the Bhim situation, I've decided to close the thread. You've all been accepted however. After this, I'm putting a post for you on the game-related discussions board regarding the next step forward.
