Fe'shi licks his lips lightly and opens his eye looking back to Okkie. Grins softly and nuzzles his nose against her gently. "I'm feeling much better, then I was when I first was brought to this island." Stands up from lying on the beach and stretches a bit. Shakes a bit of sand from his head and looks down at Okkie as she lies there on the sand. "Well, what about you...are you feeling alright? I mean you spent most of your time watching over me, not really giving yourself time to check on your condition." Looks her in the eyes and winks lightly as he worded rolled out of his mouth softly.
Okkie blinked and sighed at the sky. She adored Fe'shi - as a friend of course - and the thought of abandoning him again made her heart strings twang painfully. But what needs done, needs done, she reminded herself with a bitter smile. The female turned at the male's touch and her large pointed ears pricked. She offered him a quaint grin and woofed. "I'm glad to hear that. You look much better." And now Fe'shi wanted to know how Okkie was. She looked into his glittering oculars for a brief moment, then turned away. Her spikey tail twitched and she suddenly felt very aware of the expanding sea, the buttery sun, the flower-scent, and the feel of sand shifting 'neath her paws. "As for me... I'm okay. But I have... I have to go back to Swaraj. I'm already missing class at Janardan. And my life is there. I want to stay with you, but I just can't. However, you're welcome to always come visit me at the Academy... ahh, I'm so sorry Fe'shi."
Fe'shi frowned slightly at the idea that she was going to run off again and leave him for years on end just like before. Looks away from her and sighs softly. Shakes his head a bit and looks back to her. "You and I just reunite moments ago and all ready you have plans of leaving me here alone on this arctic oasis." Looks down slowly and runs his claws through the sand slowly drawing the symbol of his family then closing his eye. Gets up from sitting on the beach and walks over towards the salty sea then stops once more, at the edge of the receeding water. "But...as long as fate continues to play a hand in our lives then we will meet again...eventually, my lady." A red glowing tear travels down the side of his face then on down off the tip of his nose. The tear clashes with the water and causing the water in a small area to change to a deep red colour.
"This time, Fe'shi, we don't have to leave our lives in the hands of fate. This time, I am telling you where I'm going, and where I'll be. This time, I expect you to come and find me." Snowy wings flared as the coyote-like femme stood solidly upon the sandy shore. Though the prospect of leaving Fe'shi in a less-than-ideal state was not a happy one, Okkie knew that he was a wanderer, a voyager. He'd easily find his way to Swaraj, and, pretty soon, she'd see him again. This wasn't "good-bye". This was "see you later". "I'll send a boat here to bring you to Janardan. Or you can sail your own? Whichever you like. Fe'shi, I'm not leaving you. I trust you to follow as soon as you are well enough. So don't waste tears on that which is not sad!" 'Kie then game him a precious gem she rarely gave to anyone - a wide, toothy, genuine grin. It was a smile of encouragement and friendship. She kept it pasted on her mug even as she beat her wings, even as she leapt into the air, even as she began to sail back towards her home continent. And even after she was out of view, she kept smiling. Because she had something good to look foward to - Fe'shi's future visit.
Fe'shi watched her as she flew away. Continued to watch her and glares a bit as she vanishes from sight off into the distances. Fe'shi rose up from the ground and looks back up towards where the ridge was and sighed a bit. "I guess...it is time to call upon assistances from Jakhal...with getting back to the mainland." Looks back out to the sea and sighs softly. Reaches a paw up and runs it over his face slowly then nods. Soon...I will follow...my lady...soon. He though as he watched the sun break upon the waves, sealing away another day of misfortune. ooc- do you want to call it a quites and close the thread?
