"You've been searching for a dream... I remember some things about it. the first part was this. Sunlight, in the early morning sky, where the dragons will fly, upon the waking of the birds." he said, stroking his chin.
Akira looked up at the sky. "OH its to hot to think in this heat." She then turned and started to head acrossed the desert again.
Lukhan followed, silently agreeing with her. It was too hot to think now, but he would wait to ask until nightfall.
Akira looked up at the sky hours after they started walking again. It was starting to get dark. She looked around the area and found a rock ledge that would protect them for the night she headed over to it.
Lukhan followed, enjoying the night. This was the time he could think about things, the time he could actually relax. But, not tonight, at least for a little while. "Do you remember what I told you earlier?" he asked, waiting for a response.
"Then would you care to explain it?" he asked, sitting down next to her and covering his body with his wings. "If you don't want to, its okay."
"I understand. I can't explain some things about myself either. Like why my parents left me to die, or why I was taught that sword style." he said, a tear trying to come, but he blinked it back.
A soft breeze blew by and Akira's feathers started to ruffle up. "I rather just not talk about my past."
Lukhan opened his wings and laid down. "I don't much either. But I feel I can trust you. I don't know why." he said, looking up at the stars.
Akira's eyes peaked through her feathers up at him. "i've been a loner all my life and i have a hard time trusting people. But..." she just stopped then and closed her eyes.
Lukhan noticed that she had already fallen asleep. {Its gonna get cold out here, and her wings won't do good enough.} he thought, searching in his sack. {Here it is.} he thought, pulling out a blanket big enough for one pendragon. {Sleep well akira.} he thought, putting the blanket over her and falling asleep, his body shivering slightly.
In the middle of the night Akira start to have that same dream that she had before her journey began. Her body first started shaking slightly then she started shaking as if she was so cold she couldn't warm up. One of her front paws fell out underneath the blanket shaking like crazy.
Lukhan woke up and saw akira shaking. "She's gonna hate me in the morning." he said, moving over next to her and pulling her into his lap with the blanket wrapped around her. He held her paws, wanting so bad to help but not knowing how.
As soon as Lukhan touched Akira's paw she instantly sent teleapathic images into his mind of what she was seeing. First it was an image of her running running away as a young 'dragon being chased by two other hugh black 'dragons. then that song starts again as she runs deeper into a wooded area there a female 'dragon stands holding out her paw with a strange glow around her. She smiles saying "don't be afraid, come to me."
Lukhan recived the images, and he wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't enter her mind, or tell her what to do. If he made the wrong choice, ahe would get hurt. He just held her tighter, hoping to give her confidence that someone did care about her.
