She walked over toward her bed and put her bag down with a plop. The bag visibly shook the entire bed. She streached out and let out a sigh. "My name is Salme. Salme Cajtse. Nice to meet you Jahhar." She smiled at him and then looked over at Vlun who still was grinning anoyingly. "I already know him. Can't say Im glad to see you again." She skowled at him and sat down on her bed and rumaged through her bag. Vlun walked closer to her. "She doesn't like 'overly anoying' pendragons." He quoted to Jahhar. He smiled at his own little joke but Salme ignored him.
Jahhar chuckled a bit at the joke then sighed, "Ahh Vlun, bear in mind that if you annoy Salme to the point where she pins you down and threatens to harm you, I won't do a thing. Oh yeah, finished with those nuts and meat yet?"
Vlun looked at the bag of food. He put his paw in and ate another handfull before reluctantly handing the bag back to Jahhar. "Thanks for the grub Jar." He said walking back to his own bed and mumbling to himself about Salme pinning him down. Salme took a couple of things from her bag and placed them on her bed and then looked up. "Thanks Jahhar." She said with a slight smile. She looked over at Vlun and stuck her tounge out at him. The two had been known each other when they were little, their parents had been friends. But when they got older Salme found that she simply could not stand the showoff of a pendragon. "I wont even threaten him, if I get him pinned down he is DEAD!" She said happily to herself.
"Heh," mused Jahhar at Salme's comment, "I stay out of fights that don't concern me." Jahhar looked at the food inside of the bag, then tied it onto his belt. "So, what are you two learning in school these days?"
Salme plopped down on her bed, various books, writing notebooks, pencils, and binders strewn across it. She let out a pleased sigh. "I am currently in an advanced debate class that is proving very enlightening. I also am in a painting class, and other various odds and ends of classes." She said with a smile. This was the life she chose. She was a very smart pendragon, she could learn quickly and found everything very fascinating. The only thing that bothered her about school was the studying, everything but that was a complete joy to her. Vlun snorted at this comment. "Very Enlightening." It made his mind gag. He looked over at Jahhar. "If you must know I am in a pyrokinesis class." To emphasize his point he lifted his paw to the flame on his back and cupped a bit of the fire in it and brought it back to the front of his face. He smirked and closed his paw around the fire extinguishing it. "And some idiotic math class as well." He added, less than enthusiastically. He actually loved math for some strange reason, and hated all other subjects. He never let anyone know of his love for math however, for even he thought himself as a nerd. "How about you Jar, what classes you in?"
"Hmm, I'm in Ranger classes, I also take Rouge classes. I've mainly learned wilderness survival and fighting from those classes though. That has been very usefull to me." said Jahhar.
"Wow sounds interesting." Salme had always dreamed that after she was done with school, she would dedicate her life to being a wanderer, like a rouge or a ranger. She needed to get away from it all, just live how she felt like. She was a little jealous of Jahhar but she did not let it show. She ajusted her cap and continued on unpacking her things. Vlun was almost as enthusiastic. "Must be nice just to go out and do anything you feel."
Jahhar frowned at Vlun's comment, "My skills were not learned easily. My training is harsh. No, I don't recomend learning the skills I have learned. Many dragons drop out of the classes because of how rough and harsh they are. I suppose Rangers must learn to be tough though, since nature at its worst won't show mercy."
Vlun raised his paws, lowering his head and turned around, in a gesture of defence. "Sorry, Jar, didn't know it was so...intence." He said apologeticaly. The flame on his back rose slightly, Vlun never liked to 'loose' a debate. He turned and laid down on his bead, his back against the wall. He had a strange expretion in his face. "Vlun, you set yourself up for that one." Salme said across the room with a warm smile on her face, defending Jahhar. She knew that every line of work and every thing that someone learned was important to them. Often people said debate was a worthless class, but when they were done with her they did not say it anymore.
Jahhar looked at Vlun and smiled, "ohh, its alright, I was just saying, besides, my training may be tense, but at least I have good friends." Jahhar got up and stretched.
Vlun didn't say anything. It wasn't out of rudeness, he just didn't know what to say. It wasn't very often that he got in an argument and actualy admitted he was in the wrong before any real tension started. He laid proped up on his bed, staring in to space. Salme sighed and shook her head. "Just like he used to be." She stood up and started walking toward the door to the dormitory. "I have a class in a bit, I am going to go see if I can actualy find it. Catch you latter." She gave a little wave to Jahhar, ignoring the overly proud Vlun. Then we went out the door and into the hallway, closing the door behind her.
Vlun looked over at Jahhar and smiled a sly grin. "Since we was about 7. As long as I can remember." He sat back remembering old times he had shared with Salme, most of these memories included him anoying the hell out of her, or her chasing him with some form of whacking tool. He chuckled and looked back at Jahhar. "She never could stand me, but its funner than anything to anoy her. I think she gets a kick out of yelling at me too."
"Hmm, well, sounds like you have good childhood memories of Salme. Don't cause too much chaos around here, okay?" said Jahhar.
Vlun let out a small chuckle. Not to much chaos. That was near imposible. Everytime Salme and him got together they ended up in some sort of trouble, or with something broken. Vlun nodded though. "Well, I will try but I can't promice you anything Jar." Vlun smiled slightly and then stood up from his bed and walked around a bit. Just to get his bearings, to be able to know the layout of the room pretty well.
Jahhar looked at Vlun, "I don't think that there's much to break in here. unless you can tear through walls. I don't carry anything fragile with me. Every article of glass I have is next to impossible to break because of how they were forged." Jahhar walked around the room for a bit. "Where have you been these days?"
Vlun looked a little relevied, at least Salme and himself would only risk angring each other if they broke anything. Vlun thought for a moment. "Not any where very interesting. I was in some desert a while ago but that is it." Vlun oviously did not know his geography. He looked over at Jahhar. "How about you?"
Jahhar replied, "I was in Manik Swamps about 30 days ago, I haven't gone too many places recently. My teacher has been kind and we haven't been given a big assignment recently."
((ooc: This rp is sorta dieing. Do you want to just close it now? Or did you have something in mind?)) Vlun smiled. Whatever Jahhar said, Vlun still envied him. He was assighned to go on to some forein place. A class like that would be great, at least for Vlun, who would just pretend the entire thing was a vacation and not do any work. Vlun smiled slightly. "Sounds nice."
