"Wha-oh, never mind, its nothing. I sometimes relate things to history, habit I have to break." He said, also notcing that dumu had not spoken in a while. "Hey, dumu, you okay?" He asked, walking out of the spring, shaking himself off and looking over to dumu.
<span style='color:blue'>Dumu stepped, considerately, in behind Ryhaneu, systematically scrutinizing the available room which had been offered to him. His eyes followed the pebble across the surface of the pool. His tender wings reflexively tucked themselves up again, almost as if they had a mind of their own. He shifted his stance to against the wall, looking into the flames as the embers floated up into the air playfully, until near the top of the cave where they burnt themselves out. His concentration was more on the flames. Tilting his head on one side Dumu strolled over to sit near it, his back up against the wall. He wasn't ignoring the others at all. In fact, he had kept tabs of their activities. At the male's philosophical suggestion he blinked and nodded simultaneously. From the time he had entered not one word had he spoken, as he was not in conversation. At the other's question, Dumu turned, making direct eye contact. He sensed some degree of concern.</span> <span style='color:white'>I'm alright, thank you. Though, if I may, why do you ask?</span> <span style='color:blue'>To seek an answer verbally proved to be more efficient on most occasions. It was only rare Dumu would pick the reason instantly from someone telepathically. This time, there was no need. They both were kind enough, including one's apparent, understandable, defensiveness. He looked over to Ryhaneu and closed his eyes, carefully entering her mind. He tried to make it so she wouldn't be alarmed, but he wasn't exactly renown for being perfectly subtle. Dumu didn't want to pass any words, he merely tried to give the feeling of his comfort which would serve, he hoped, adequately. His eyes reopened, stopping his connection with her, his eyes fixed upon her's.</span>
Ryhaneu winced as something entered her mind. Almost immidietly she reacted, using her own mind to act like a hand pushing it out firmly but soft. As she pushed, the force suddenly withdrew, and she came back into conciousness staring into Dumu's eyes. She looked away quickly, not being able to stand direct eye-contact. As Raizan climbed out of the spring, she got up and padded up beside him, slipping into the warm water with a relaxed grin. "You haven't spoken in a while, Dumu. We wondered if you were okay." She completely missed out the fact that he'd broken into her mind, without warning. But she kept her tone calm and soft, as usual with a small hint of wariness. Without waiting for his answer she ducked under the water, tucking into a streamlined shape, and swam to the far side, her wings helping as an extra force to beat the water back as she rode on small currents of water. The femme finally paddled back and rested her chin on the rock, a small smile visible on her features.
Raizan watched her swim, admiring her graceful movement. He grabbed one of the blankets and wrapped himself up, sitting near the fire. He looked to the enterance of the cave, noticing that the hail was larger and coming down faster. "Looks like we got out of that just in time." He said, also noting that it was getting darker. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Ack short post</td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>gtg now. But I shall reply tommorrow!!!</td></tr></table>
Noticing the sky outside the cave mouth, Ryhaneu climbed out, her bronze fur dripping. "Hmm... I don't think I'd be able to fly in this weather... and it's getting late," she said, glancing round at her ebony-feathered wings. "Could I stay for the night?" She smiled, and lay down beside the fire, curling up contentedly as she watched Raizan through the flames. But where would Dumu go? She looked at him questioningly, her eyebrows raised in silent words. *Are you staying, too?*
"Fine with me if you stay." Raizan said, getting up and giving Ryhaneu a blanket. "Just don't snore." He said, leaning against the cave wall across from the fire. I don't know why, but something just doesn't seem right. Its as if someone is watching us or had a hidden agenda, and wants to get rid of all three of us or something. Its probably just my imagination. I haven't been around other pendragons for a while, so its natural that I would not be comfortable. I'm thinking to much, my head hurts. He thought, rubbing his temples for a moment and wtching the other two.
"I won't snore. For me, it's extremely rare." she grinned, picking up her blanket and wrapping it around her slender waist. Glancing up to grin at him, she noticed he wore a troubled expression and was rubbing his temples. "Are you alright, Raizan? Feeling ill or something?" she asked, fixing him with a concerned look. While awaiting his answer, she tucked her large wings around her, forming a huge fluffy duvet. She too had been aware of something, and this was why she was so wary; why she had pushed Dumu out of her mind. The femme's ears strained as she listened in on the whistling wind as it screeched outside, trying to catch stray thoughts of some creature of a stalker. Nothing, no scents either. She looked up at Raizan through the gaps in her wings, her eyes confused and alarmed.
"Just a little headache, I get them when a storm becomes bad." He said, looking at her and noting the expression in her eyes. He got up and walked over, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You okay, you look worried." he asked, worry in his eyes.
"I'm alright," she replied, acknowledging his comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's just like something's been following us... I can't hear or scent anything..." Her eyes narrowed, and she glared at the dancing shadows, imagining the figures like faces, mocking and teasing her, knives in their hands. Shivering, she smiled and looked up. "I guess it's just me..."
Raizan Saw her shiver and took off his blanket, moving her wings and laying it on her. "You looked cold." He said, giving her a half-smile and sitting down beside her. "If you are sure you're okay." he said, scooting a little ways from her and resting his back against the wall, his wings folding around him and reflecting the firelight, casting an errie glow.
Ryhaneu watched him walk away, before tucking her head under her wing. She was tired, and her wings were sore from the places where the hail had battered them. Before long her eyes had closed, and her soft breathing signalled the arrival of her being asleep. Sure, she didn't exactly know these two males, but she felt she could trust them. With a small sigh, she rolled over, clutching the soft blankets with her delicate fingers.
<span style='color:blue'>He accepted her entrance of words, and was about to answer... The thing was, he wasn't sure if he should stay. The cave wasn't small, by any means, but, against what he had previously considered, there was a more pressing urge to leave. This he would not do either. At this time, to leave would be dangerous not only for himself, but for these two. His head turned at his thought a fraction for his eyes to have them both in view as they glanced out the corners, his attention returning to the flames, silently crackling over the shrill wind. All images, words and other manifestations of past, present and future were eradicated completely from his mind, leaving him, essentially, an open book for anyone, with no primary defense against intrusion. Eyes closed. His left hand rose to rest in front of the flames. From the middle of his palm came intermittent pulses - the fire swaying away from him with each. He angled the edge of his hand toward the fire. A larger pulse came, which formed into a ball around it, the light dwindling for a few moments, until he released it again. There was no point in this exercise, other than to relax. It almost seemed redundant. Exerting energy to relax. In truth, physically Dumu was relaxed. The tension resided in his mind. He debated whether having let his sister go was such a good idea after all. His eyes wandered back over to Ryhaneu.</span> <span style='color:white'>I wonder if you have any brothers.</span> <span style='color:blue'>Unintentionally he had sent that to her. Dumu looked over to Raizen near her. There was something indeed wrong with him; the way his eyes didn't seem to stay focused; the way he seemed to be rushing. Perhaps he was becoming irritated with the conditions surrounding them all, but at such an early stage, Dumu deemed it unlikely. His fingers extended closer to the manipulative, bladed, golden yellow and red flames, causing balls of fire to follow the direction of his finger tips; his other hand rising to snuff them telekinetically. With it, Dumu leant up against the walls, his eyes closing once more to rest the night away. Hopefully, the day to come would be better all round. If not, well, he would have to do something.</span>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I have no idea what to do now... Adun, you need to post in the morning... lol.</td></tr></table>
Raizan's Eyes closed, sleep starting to overcome him. "Good night guys." He said, giving a half smile again before falling into a dreamless sleep. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td> I can't think of much, aaaaccckkkk. </td></tr></table>
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>I'll post in the morning, then. :) </td></tr></table> Ryhaneu's eyes opened, and her gaze lingered to the cave mouth. "Wake up, guys," she said fairly quietly, folding back her wings and blankets to tap Dumu and Raizan's shoulders. "It's nice today," she commented, strolling to the entrance and leaning casually against the side. "There's no hail - and it's warmer than yesterday." True, snow and ice still covered the ground, but that was pretty usual for Dhruv's mountain range.
Raizan woke up, feeling ryhaneu poke him. "I'm up, I'm up." He said, walking over to the spring and getting in it, splashing his face and feeling himself fully wake up. "If you guys are hungry, theres some more food in my pack." He said, pointing to a small red bag.
Ryhaneu smiled, but held up her hand. "It's ok. I have some food back at my place. You're very welcome to come, you know." Her hand gestured to the horizon, pointing at Swaraj. Okay, she had spare rooms, but her living space was absoloutely tiny. "If you like living in tiny houses, that is." A grin spread on her features, and her gaze flicked from Raizan to Dumu.
Raizan smirked at her, crossing his arms. "Are you inviting us to live with you Ryhaneu?" He asked, moving over to his sack and getting a fish, eating it. He moved next to her, staring into her eyes. "And why would you ask us to live with you?"
<span style='color:blue'>Dumu's eyes opened sharply at the invitation, catching the description of her humble abode. Pushing himself from the wall, cleaning off his jeans from the dirt, he met Ryhaneu's fleeting glance. Pausing for a moment to consider his response, his hands rose to brush back his hair.</span> That is very kind of you. But, forgive me, I wouldn't want to impose upon you. <span style='color:blue'>He was very grateful for being allowed to stay the night at Raizan's, and extremely grateful he would be offered another domicile. Turning down this invitation was somewhat uncalled for, and clearly went against his method of operating. His tone was fairly curt on the grounds her words were unforeseen. He aimed to excuse his manner.</span> My apologies, I didn't mean to sound abrupt with you. It's just, the day is fine so I may later head home. <span style='color:blue'>The inclusion of the word 'later' would have indicated he had no intention of departing soon, not after being accomodated on such short notice. Disregarding his previous plans on light of this, maybe he'd stick around and get to know them better. There'd be no harm. Shanu was always telling him to relax. Also the upside to staying with them was that they would end up in Swaraj. Vivuli no less.</span> But if it won't be troublesome, may I join you both?
