I'll go. Back in two minutes. With that, Korif was quickly out of the door, albeit rather cautiously. He wasn't willing to take any major risks. At least, not again. He shot off down the street, wanting to leave for Ajita as soon as possible. He was very interested to see what had changed, and even more so to delve a little further into what it was that Leah was trying to find out.
Leah was about to say something when Korif ran out. He doesn't even know what he's gone to get! She said in a reather exasperated voice. She went over to the table and leaned against it, rubbing her temples. She was awful at doing anything remotely psychic or magical during the day time. {When you get there go into my room and into the closet, there's a black duffle bag to your left, get that, over it should be hanging a trench coat, get that too. Em might be there, just tell her I'm goin g off to visit the Sena's} She thought to Korif. She squeezed her eyes shut and moved to a chair, a tad spent.
Ugh, if she's there, she can stay the hell out of my face. Besides, what business is it of hers where you're going? Korif headed up the stairs to Leah's apartment and went into her room. Hm... closet... closet... closet-ah! The thief opened it and grabbed the duffle bag and the trench coat. Hmm... see if there's some room for this in the bag... He unzipped the bag, and with soem difficulty, but prevailing in the end, he got the coat into the bag without noticing any of the container's contents. He headed back down the stairs and once more dashed off down the street.
Leah got Korif's messages, but didn't really pay attention to them. She got up as she heard the door open and close, taking her duffle bag from him. She unzipped it and took out her coat. I'm not going to ask how you got this to fit. She said, holding it up. Throwing the jacket over the back of the couch Leah clenched her eyes shut once more and her wings began to either shrink or be drawn in, it was hard to tell, eventually they ended up as just small spikes sticking up on either side of her neck. She put on the jacket and went through her bag, finally standing up and putting on a hat. Done. She breathed, man she hated that shifting gene.
Alright. We off, then? Korif was most eager to leave. He hadn't been outside of Bhim in so long, he'd forgotten what most of the world looked like. While things hadn't changed in Bhim, they most likely had in Ajita. He didn't know for a fact, purely just an educated guess. Viriathos got up off his seat, yawned, and finally piped up. I just be a second. Need to grab some tings from de workshop. He headed down the steps, and came back up a minute or two later carrying firearms. 'Ere. Don't wantcha gettin' 'urt while we gone. He passed a rifle and a sidearm to Korif and Leah, then put his in their respective holsters. Clipped to his belt was a small white, rectangular box with a small, crudely painted, red cross in the centre.
I doubt you need to worry about that much, unless either of you are against using teleporters, there really isn't too much of a need for weapons. Although now that she thought about it... with the people here and Korif's reputation, they might need a little extra something. Leah shouldered her bag and rummaged through one of the pokets on her coat, pulling out a pair of sunglasses and donning them. She headed to the door, silently wishing that there were teleporters closer than three miles away.
Sorry, hun, but that's our way. We like to go into the unknown (or relatively, in this case) packing 'heat', if you like. I have a nasty habit of being caught unawares by the authorities wherever I set foot. I like to think of myself as the happy-go-lucky thief, in that sense. Korif knew he'd gone completely off the point mid-spoken-word, but he decided it best to let himself ramble on until he'd finished. He put his miniature armoury in any holsters on his person that he could, V doing the same. Korif grabbed a pair of red-lensed 'over the top' glasses and threw them on. Ready when you are. Same 'ere. Viriathos looked so much different with his goggles actually covering his eyes. Sort of the mad-but-harmless-scientist look.
Leah nodded and went out the door. Needless to say, day was much different than night, her sunglasses didn't help even though they were almost opaque. She reached out a gloved hand for Korif's. I can't see, it's too bright. She explained in a hushed tone. Out of Character

ugh... so short, i will get back into the swing of things, although after you post, want to start a thread in Ajita or i could start?

Out of Character

If you want to kick things off in Ajita, that's fine with me.

Ah. Korif took her hand and started them on their way, Viriathos quickly locking, bolting and automated-defensing the door before joining them. Both the thief and his gear-head friend had a feeling that things were going to be much more interesting in Ajita than they were here, and if they weren't... well, they'd just have to make things more interesting.
