  1. <span style='color:red'>Ah.</span> Korif was a little annoyed, but he knew she could go and get blood from some random 'dragon, so he felt a little more relieved, too.

This whole enslaving trip reminded him of something he'd seen in a book about Earth vampires. It wasn't terribly detailed, but it said something about 'ghouling', which seemed pretty identical to that of Vampdragon enslaving. Made him wonder if Leah had ever looked into her race's Earth 'cousins'.

  2. Leah nodded and hopped up so she was sitting on the counter.

<span style='color:purple'>I didn't really learn much about the Vampires on earth, I was only in France. There seemed to be an abundance of the one line, I think their master was Belle Morte or something obscure like that. They did the slave bit, but only because they needed to feed on something and people willing to screw around with an Incubus don't exist.</span> She said.

The Vamps had taught her some terms in french, but for the most part is was all mind to mind crap. In truth she hadn't liked them much, they were similar to Jean's line, but not by much. They were also all on one hell of an ego trip.

  3. <span style='color:red'>Read that France was a rather 'pompous vampire' country.</span> Korif shrugged. He wasn't too well brushed-up on Vampdragons, but he assumed that it would be fairly similar for certain vampires on this planet. With a sigh, Korif clicked his thumbs and looked at Leah. <span style='color:red'>Any plans for tonight, then?</span> he sniffed. He didn't actually have anything to do that night, but he was merely curious about Leah.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry about the late reply. PC's been sodding up >_<</td></tr></table>

  4. <span style='color:purple'>Same thing I do every night... Plan to take over the world!</span> She said, smirking.

She wasn't actually serious, there were things more preferable to ruling the world, several things now that she thought about it. Ah well.

<span style='color:purple'>Really I have no idea, Em's still in the east otherwise I'd pester her to go out and do something with me, y'know just to get her off that damned laptop.</span> She said, sliding off the counter and walking up to Korif.

    <span style='color:purple'>What about you?</span>

  5. <span style='color:red'>Meh. Nothing. Need to get round to various plannery, eventually. Probably just go out, get hammered, come back completely shite-faced.</span> There was a small grin evident on his face. This was one of the few nights he'd be able to go out and do something he really wanted to be doing. He sighed and looked at the clock. Seven-thirty. Plenty of time to get wasted, maybe steal some things to help fund his 'throw-away' night.

  6. <span style='color:purple'>Sounds like fun, mind if I join you?</span> Leah asked.

She moved away from Korif and randomly began to pace about the room, no real rhyme or reason to it, just because she needed to move. Busying herself with rumaging through her pockets as she did so. A sound of triumph was heard when she dug out her phone. She tapped a few of the keys then held it to her ear.

<span style='color:purple'>Hiya Em, you sitting at your laptop?... Well get up and go do something, writing for that long can't be good for you.... Please? I promise I won't bother you for two days if you go out and-</span> Leah looked down at the phone.

<span style='color:purple'>Damn thing died on me.</span> She said with a shrug, she put the contraption back in her pocket and looked up at Korif, still waiting for his answer.

  7. <span style='color:red'>Sure. Got the money to blow, so...</span> Korif shrugged. She didn't seem to have anything better to do, so he might as well let her tag along. Couldn't do him any harm, unless some form of Vampdragon hunter had been tracking the two. <span style='color:red'>Anywhere you wanna go while we're out? Can't think of anywhere, myself, but I'm guessing you know Bhim's nightlife better than I do.</span>

  8. Leah shrugged.
<span style='color:purple'>I'm sure I know some of the nightlife better than you do, but then again it doesn't seem like the kind of stuff you're into.</span> She said, most of the places she knew were in the vamp district anyway.

<span style='color:purple'>Just out of curiosity, what goes into planning a new hideout?</span>

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry it's so short -_-"</td></tr></table>

  9. <span style='color:red'>Inconspicuous placing... contact range with someone useful... that sort of thing.</span> Korif sounded half-sleepy. <span style='color:red'>... well, I suppose anywhere you can think of is better than one of my dingy bars. Doubtful you'll take me anywhere like where you work, but oh well...</span> Korif feigned disappointment, just managing to hide a grin.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>Yeah, apologies for shortness here, too XP</td></tr></table>

  10. <span style='color:purple'>The places I'm thinking of are marginally worse than where I work.</span> She said, laughing.

What she meant by worse was the fact that they're 'shows' were anything but conservative and there was a fatality rate in customers of about 60% depending.

She noted the sleep that slightly clinged to Korif's voice. Walking up to him, she put a hand on the side of his face.

<span style='color:purple'>Have you slept at all since yesterday?</span> She asked.

  11. Korif managed a stifled yawn, complete with baring teeth while trying to say <span style='color:red'>No</span> and shook his head. Maybe going out wasn't such a good idea. He never could hold his alcohol on a tired cadaver. He rubbed an eye and sniffed, slinking off into the living room and smiling at Leah, before putting himself on the sofa and turning himself to lie on it. He yawned again as he stared at the dark ceiling, just making his tiredness worse.

  12. Leah trailed a bit behind Korif, leaning over the top of the couch slightly. Smiling down at him, she was struck by just how much he looked like her father - now that was a scary thought.

<span style='color:purple'>If you're that tired sleep, the night critters wouldn't dare mess with me.</span> She said, snickering.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>*Murders the short post*</td></tr></table>

  13. <span style='color:red'>Mm... don't blame them... y'scare the hell outta me...</span> Korif fell asleep with a grin on his face. He couldn't help but think that Leah had noticed some sort of recognition between himself and someone else. It'd probably bug him when he woke up, but for the moment, he'd just let himself get a good enough sleep. Maybe he'd wake up soon enough for them to get in a fair bit of alky before sunrise.

  14. She watched Korif, she noticed that comparing folks she knew they all looked a lot more innocent when they were asleep. She contemplated a few things she could do, but decided against all of them for one reason or another. Eventually she made her way around the couch and sat on the edge of one of the cushions, reaching out to just stroke his fur, not enough to actually wake him up, but just because.

  15. Korif wriggled a bit, suddenly trying to get himself comfortable. The grin faded, but a smile was still evident as he lay on his side. He started dreaming, something he hadn't done in a long time. He only ever dreamt about when he and Viriathos were kids, though. Roaming the streets, sneaking himself odds and ends from the stalls... good times... better times... never had to worry about the police, then.

  16. Leah was mildly surprised when Korif moved, she'd kind of spaced out.

<span style='color:purple'>What are you dreaming about?</span> She whispered to herself.

She could easily check, prying was not at all difficult when the 'dragon in question was asleep, after all, what could one little look do? As gently as she could she made an attempt to peer into his mind, see what he was seeing. Though she found his sheilds still up.

    <span style='color:purple'>Darn.</span>

  17. Korif twitched a bit, subconciously feeling something trying to sneak into his head. <span style='color:red'>Please... only have to ask.</span> It didn't seem as though he was talking to Leah, but the quick and seemingly directed statement would've shot a jolt down anyone's spine. He bared his teeth again, but a little more aggressively, this time. Looked as though he was dreaming about being attacked or something...

  18. Half of her head said that Korif was talking to her, the other half said that he was dreaming. Though she felt that the teeth confirmed that he was dreaming, here's to hoping she was right. She put her hand over Korif's forehead, whispering non-words along with real words thrown in. If it worked, it worked, if it didn't, she hoped her reflexes were good. Damn, those were some sharp looking teeth.

  19. He squirmed again, certain he could feel something on his head. He made a sort of 'nnf' noise and yawned. He felt around in the air with his left hand and caught Leah's wrist. He must've panicked, because immediately, his hand's grip loosened and it dropped to his side. Korif seriously scared himself when he was asleep. Did things that were a little odd.

  20. Leah was about to pull her hand away when Korif grabbed her wrist. She stayed quite still until he let go. Getting up off the couch, she promised herself not to try and sneak in on his dreams. She looked around her turning a full circle and taking everything in. Now what to do with all that extra time...

    Exploring was always good.
