  1. <span style='color:red'>Better head back to yours. My place's kinda cold, and it wouldn't exactly be great falling asleep there.</span> Leah's sleepiness made Korif smile. It made her look oddly cute. He gently ran his fingers through her hair, the silkiness of it somehow very comforting. He had a feeling that the two were inside an orb, the rest of the world just shunted out.

  2. <span style='color:purple'>M'kay.</span> She said, giving a small nod of her head.

She put an arm arund his waist, closing her eyes some as he ran his fingers through her hair. Resting her had on his shoulder she felt protected, as though nothing could harm her. She looked up at him, her aura curling with pastel colors amidst the blackness that it usually retained.

    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Sorry it's so short.</td></tr></table>

  3. After a little while, the two of them stopped outside the place where Leah's apartment was nestled in. Korif himself was starting to feel tired, and looking at the dark window just made it worse, a quiet yawn being kicked out of his lungs. <span style='color:red'>I seriously need to get more sleep.</span> Korif sleepily sniggered. He stepped an inch or two away from Leah so she could get her key. He didn't like the thought of just falling asleep in the hallway or in some street.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>S'alright, I'm a little low on inspiration myself =P</td></tr></table>

  4. Leah took out her keys and unlocked the door. Flicking the lights as she went in she turned the dial next to the lightswitch to dim them some, this action was accompanied by a soft buzzing sound. She took of her coat, putting it on the nearest kitchen counter, and kicked off her shoes.

<span style='color:purple'>Well, there's room in my bed if you're looking for sleep.</span> She said, smirking.

  5. <span style='color:red'>You have a bed?</span> Korif grinned. He thought Vampdragons were supposed to sleep hanging from something, but it was probably a facade to cover her race up. Still, anything was better than just a bare mattress. <span style='color:red'>Well, if you don't mind, thanks.</span> With a smile, Korif wandered off into Leah's bedroom rubbing one eye and stretching. He sat on the side of the bed, stifling a number of yawns as he stared at the floor for a while, unaware that he was doing so.

  6. Leah followed Korif.
<span style='color:purple'>Of course I have a bed, screw sleeping upside down and experiencing amnesia everytime I wake up after falling to the floor.</span> She said, sniggering softly.

She came to kneel behind Korif, putting her hands at the base of his neck and massaging the muscles around his shoulders. He seemed somewhat absent from himself, it was a bit unsettling.

    <span style='color:purple'>You okay?</span> She asked.

  7. The sound of Leah's voice booted Korif back into his present surroundings. <span style='color:red'>Heh. Sometimes a bash on the head can help...</span> he smirked. <span style='color:red'>Yeah, I'm fine, just tired.</span> He stifled another yawn. <span style='color:red'>I don't think I got much sleep last time I dozed off...</span> He could feel the muscles in the top of his back loosening up, and he felt much more relaxed for it. He yawned again, this time just letting it escape, a very sluggish feeling sliding over him.

  8. Leah put her arms around Korif, resting her head lightly on his shoulder. She could see his eyelids drooping slightly and sense about how tired he was.

<span style='color:purple'>I wouldn't assume so, you fell asleep on an examining table with minimal pain killers.</span> She said.

Sighing, Leah closed her eyes for a moment, very tempted to succumb to the welcoming darkness of sleep. She moved away from Korif slowly and sat up by the pillows, yawning.

    <span style='color:purple'>I propose sleeping.</span> She mumbled.

  9. <span style='color:red'>Good idea...</span> Korif yawned, his blinking now strangely uncoordinated. He lay next to Leah and looked up at her occasionally, trying to get to sleep. He rolled his neck and it sounded a fairly nasty pop, but it didn't seem to do him any harm. Kicking off his boots, he whispered a <span style='color:red'>Night</span> before drifting off to sleep.

  10. Leah cringed as Korif's neck popped, she had never gotten used to the sound of cracking joints. She put her head near his, idly toying with his hair. Running one of her fingers along the crook of his neck she closed her eyes. Nuzzling him and whispering '<span style='color:purple'>Good night</span>' previous to her falling into a comfortable sleep.

  11. Small stones bouncing off the window were the first thing Korif heard when he awoke. Looking out of the window in the main room, it was only about 4 or 5 in the morning, judging from how the light was a dull bright. He looked at Leah, who seemed to still be asleep. He carefully slid off the bed, easing her head onto a pillow, and went over to the bedroom window.

    <span style='color:blue'>Korif! Korif, mon, i'ss me!</span>

Korif instantly recognised the accent. It was Viriathos. <span style='color:red'>V, what the hell are you doing down there?</span> he hissed. He was actually surprised to see the engineer-type Viriathos, knowing him to be quite the wanderer.

<span style='color:blue'>Presant for ya, blud! 'Ere!</span> Viriathos took a rifle out of a holster strapped diagonally acroos his torso and threw it up to Korif. <span style='color:blue'>Rememba, bruh, dere be people dat still wanna 'elp ya out! Look, 'afta dash. Ya need anytin' else, ya drop me a line. Stey good, mon!</span> With that, the inventor was away.

Shutting the window, Korif looked at Leah again. She was stirring, but he didn't expect she'd wake up. He propped the gun up against the wall and went back to lie on the bed.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
<table class='ooc'><tr><td>O_O Long post from me. Had to use my other character, but hey =P</td></tr></table>

  12. She felt Korif get off the bed and heard his footsteps as he went over to the window. Ignoring it until there was the sound of something being put against the wall. She cracked and eye open and looked at Korif, she didn't quite care what had just happened, he looked like he was fine and there wasn't a stranger standing in the middle of the room.

<span style='color:purple'>Did you atleast draw the curtains?</span> She asked, her voice thick with sleep.

For the moment her only concern was that the black-out curtains were closed, she wasn't a fan of the sun during life and moreso now that she was a Vampdragon.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>heh, that's alright</td></tr></table>

  13. <span style='color:red'>Mhmm.</span> Korif nodded. <span style='color:red'>Sleep well?</span> he chuckled. He looked back at the rifle. Ballistic, as the Anuban normally used. It reminded him of the haul from the small convoy he ambushed not too long ago. <span style='color:red'>Forgot to ask. Did you ever find out what the plant and that piece of metal were for?</span> He rubbed his eyes as he spoke, his head still thick with weariness.

  14. Leah sat up and put her arms behind her to support herself. She nodded when he asked about how she slept.

<span style='color:purple'>No I didn't, I fell asleep a while after you did before, but I did drop them off with a friend down the hall. Knowing her she's still up, if you want we can go talk to her, ask some questions and whatnot. The only thing is that there are two books that I owe her.</span> she said, yawning as she did so.

  15. <span style='color:red'>Well, if you want to. Personally, I'm most worried about where you put that rifle I looted.</span> he chuckled with a sly wink. He turned and sat up at the end of the bed and slid his boots on. <span style='color:red'>So, what's on the to-do list for today? Or are you just planning on slobbing out?</span> Korif grinned.

    <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span>
    <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Uh oh. Short posts again =P</td></tr></table>

  16. <span style='color:purple'>Oh, the rifle is still here along with some of the other weapons you may have picked up. I'm not about to hand over weapons to just anyone.</span> She said.

Leah got up off the bed and stretched, another yawn escaing her as she did so. She'd slept surprisingly well, no nightmares, and she hadn't woken up randomly.

<span style='color:purple'>Well, for the moments I have dreams of a shower and a fresh set of clothes. Then maybe a cup of coffee and an asprin so I'm able to deal with Jaz, I swear she always gives me a headache.</span> She said, shaking her head.

<span style='color:purple'>And if you want a shower and some new clothes or something check in the closet over there, the clothes themselves are meant for a shifter friend of mine on a full moon and he's height goes up so he's like 7'2" during the full moon, so if you're interested the clothes will fit.</span> She added, pointing in the direction of another closet.

  17. <span style='color:red'>Might as well take a look. See if there's anything there worth taking.</span> With a smirk, Korif started routing through the closet. <span style='color:red'>You hit the shower first. I might be a while.</span> The Anuban couldn't really find anything that appealed to him. He'd also noticed a large amount of pairs of shoes in there. <span style='color:red'>'Your guy friend... quite feminine, is he?</span> he shot the thought to Leah's mind.

  18. <span style='color:purple'>{It's almost all thrift store stuff, you take what you can get, shoes are real cheap, they're also the first things to go when someone changes}</span> She thought back.

Leah turned on the water in the shower so that it was fairly cold for most folks standards and almost instantaniously the glass started to frost around the edges. She took off her clothes and stepped in, standing under the water for a moment before proceeding to clean herself. She stepped out ten minutes later and wrapped a towel around her. Picking up her clothes, she padded back to the bedroom.

<span style='color:purple'>I'm done with the shower.</span> She said, dumping the clothes in a hamper near the door.

She went over to a dresser, looking up at the mirror and finding herself rather disappointed that her reflection did not show up. Though this only bothered her for a few seconds because she shortly started to go through drawers for a frest set of clothes.

  19. <span style='color:red'>Screw it, the clothes-finding can wait. I feel scummy.</span> Korif gave a small defeated shrug and headed off for the shower. He turned the shower on, pulled his clothes off, stepped in and stood there for a few minutes. After a while, his back his the shower wall and he slid down until he was sat there.

The warm water was a welcome change to the lukewarm stuff he used in the safehouse. He watched the silver-edged water trickle down his thighs and his muzzle, and realised that he'd best get out before he drowned because of his own fur. Turning the shower off, he left the bathroom with a towel around his waist. The Anuban started the little escapade that was finding a change of clothes.

  20. While Korif was showering Leah had found what to wear, a black pair of jeans and a deep red halter top. As he came back she was braiding her hair, and doing fairly well seeing as how mirrors were useless to her.

<span style='color:purple'>Try looking on the upper shelf, that's where the better things probably are.</span> She said.

She finished braiding her hair and tied it off with a thin black ribbon that she had been holding between her teeth.

<span style='color:purple'>Quick thing about Jaz, she will probably treat you as an object, you have to earn the right to be treated like an intellegent creature, con't ask me how because I honestly have no idea.</span>
