I feel a little bad about this. You'll be able to click on one continent/country and be able to bring up a bunch of information about each. Somehow. I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to organize all that, but I will eventually. What I'm looking for right now are some volenteers. >:] Just a few people to help me figure out which flora and fauna are the most common in each continent. :) As for smaller updates, I tweaked our privacy policy a bit, fixed a few site navigation problems, and I'm once again back to finishing the New Player Guide. mwahaha! I've been waiting for this! XD *dances giddily* I shall helpith you with the task of figuring out which flora and fauna go where. Is it alright to assume that RaL is like earth as far as planet tilt, orbit, etc, so the seasons and weather are similar? (If not, lemme know) Then, how should you like it all grouped? Well, I only created two... Just to tell ya, You can lose the Nymph thing... I pretty much turned it into a Vuna :3 And Vuna are most common in Swaraj (as many students would keep them as pets and what not). And I could have sworn I have seen that map before... x.x And I don't really know how to make the links go on... :( sry
Yep, pretty much the same as Earth. Just to keep things easy for everyone. ^^; There might be a few areas that are more 'extreme' than others though. And, I think grouped by continent would work best, sort of. Except for Sudesha because it's so huge. Just grouped by how the forums are divided I suppose. :P (And you probably have seen the map before... lol, I have it posted up in one of my art accounts, and it's been uploaded to Ramath's site for a long time, so you might have stumbled across it before.)

XD ) For the map, we can have a list on one side, of all plants an animals, and on the other have the map (full color), and when you rollover a plant or animal, the map goes sepia-tone, except for where the plant/animal is found. It'd be a lot of work, though. :P I'm trying to learn flash, maybe that'd make it easier? (Probably would take forever to load..) Vuna? *searches* Reptile! Almost done with mammals, moving to reptiles next. ;)

I already like it better than the old one, even uncolored. *g* Well, I was gonna volunteer to help with the species organization, but Zeva looks like she's already got it covered pretty well. But for the map itself, the "interactive" bit I mean, the easiest way that occurs to me is to make an image map and have each continent/section link to a webpage with info on that section? Or perhaps one big long page, and have it link to that specific continent's bit of the page. (A bit obvious maybe, eheh *sewatdrop* ...did you mean organizing the webpages themselves?) Er. *thinks a moment* Maybe have a table with a picture, average temperature, climate type(s), rainfall, that sort of thing, up at the top, then list plant & wildlife, culture, major cities, and whatever else below? Oh, and a random point that occured to me--would Ajita have more flying critters (and evolutions thereof) than other types, or maybe even all flyers, 'cause it's a floating island and nothing else could reach? Or are we not worrying about that sort of thing? Heh. --I suppose magic could transport a bunch of creatures, but they'd need to either be able to access Fronima themselves or have some reason for the pendragons to transport them, then, wouldn't they? (This leads to a slew of questions on my part... o.o Hope I don't get too off-topic here, lol.) Flash... ah. I wish that I knew how to work it. ^^; That could end up really quite beautiful I think. The only thing I'd be worried about would be the file size and its loading time. I think that the roll over idea with the map changing a different colour for plants and animals would be extremely hard to do though. Considering that there's always going to be new flora and fauna being added and it'll have to be updated all the time. I would be really awesome though. I really like those ideas. :) As for Ajita, most likely there would be a lot of flying creatures. Hm. Most likely there wouldn't be that many herds/grazing types either as I'm not really sure how well off they are in the plains area. And Zeva, you're crazy. But we all love you for it. *tackle-hugs!*

Hm, I can start adding in the plants I think. As for a scale. o.x I don't really know if it's drawn to a certain scale. Truthfully, I actually traced over some parts of the orginal old map, lmao. Making a few modifications to it of course. Adding in some more lumps and bumps... there's still a few smaller things that I need to add to it. The ocean areas are really... blah. As for Ajita. I don't think they have much in the area of plains. I think you misread. :) Ajita is more like... well I'm hesistant to say like New York or Toronto. Because it is a really big city-like area, but it's all built in nicely with the forested areas and mountains. So really high tech and business-like, but still tied in with nature. And a key shall come. :) Eventually. Unless it's decided that it isn't needed.
