<span style='color:green'>"Y-yes....I'll g-get s-some.." </span><span style='color:darkgreen'>Hishema filled a glass full of water from their fridge and placed it on the table in front of Nudek.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"We could play some poker, not for real money, it's still fun." Tucoju grabbed a deck of cards with her right arm and sat back down.</span>
Nudek accepted the glass of cold water. Popping the pills into her mouth and swigging the water down she stuck out her tongue afterwards. The pills had a horrible after taste, even if they weren't in your mouth for more than a second. they had a coading that seemed to paste to the topside of your tongue, invisable but awfull. <span style='color:darkred'>Oh thats horid...</span> Taking a breathe and ignoring the taste she looked up at Tucoju. <span style='color:darkred'>What kind of Poker?</span> She only knew a few different kinds of poker, and even them she didn't know how to play very well.
<span style='color:blue'>"Hmm.....I only know one kind, just basic 5 cards, 2 tries to switch them, poker."</span> <span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju laughed slightly.</span> <span style='color:green'>"Lets play that."<span style='color:darkgreen'> Hishema placed two cups of hot chocolate on the table by Tucoju and herself</span>, "D-did you w-want s-some, too?"</span>
<span style='color:darkred'>Yes please Hishema. That would be nice.</span> Nudek smiled at Hishema, glad that Hishema and Tucoju were around. It would have been very boring wihtout them. Her friends were usually out and some of them has been banned from the school grounds because of them being vampires and the like. Luckily no teacher had found out what she was or she would be just like them. Temrin seemed to be avoiding most of her friends after a certain incident... Nudek understood that she wanted to be with Rluknyym, to comfort him. He had lost his little sister in the most horrible way possible... Coming out of her daze she looked over at tucoju. <span style='color:darkred'>Well, you'll have to show me how to play. I'm not very familiar with most the the poker games. Even the ones i know i don't know very well.</span>
<span style='color:darkgreen'>Hishema poured a cup for Nudek and returned to her seat. She shuffed the cards, and deal five to each of them.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"What you do is, on your turn, you choose the cards you wish to discard, and pick up the same number, so you have five again. Here, I'll go first." </span><span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju checked her cards: Ace of hearts, 5 of clubs, 8 of clubs, 3 of spades, and Jack of hearts.</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Now NO mind reading, k?" </span><span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju choose her 5, 8, and 3, <span style='color:blue'>"I will discard these three, and pick up three. Nudek wasn't quite sure if she had it all down but after a few hands and failing misserably she started to get the game play. Reaching for her drink she took a few sips then went back to playing. <span style='color:darkred'>Well... I think i've gotton the hang of it... Kinda</span> She chuckled. After being dealt her hand and discarding one card she smiled. Waiting for the others to do their discarding she sat their... Trying not to smile... She just might win her first hand! When it was her turn to show her cards and layed them out and smiled. <span style='color:blue'>"I got, a pair." </span><span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju showed them her two 3's.</span> <span style='color:green'>"F-flush."</span> <span style='color:blue'>"Let's see, you have a diamond flush, and Nudek has a heart flush. Sorry Hishema, looks like you finally lost a hand."</span> <span style='color:green'>"Okay."</span> <span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju stood and checked the time, <span style='color:blue'>"Oh! It's already 9 o'clock, well time sure flies when you're with your friends. I have to be up early tomorrow. I have to get some sleep, I'll see you two tomorrow." </span>She retreated to her room leaving Hishema and Nudek in the main room alone.</span> <span style='color:green'>"S-s-so, w-wa-wanna play a-again?"</span>
<span style='color:darkred'>Tucoju...? </span> She didn't feel right asking but she had do. There was no way she'd wake tyolt up at this hour, especially when she had classes early in the morning. She woulnd't be able to get into her room. Nudek had noticed that her friend hadn't grabbed her dorm key while getting her clothes... <span style='color:darkred'>Would you mind... If I stayed the night?</span> Looking back towards Hishema and smiled and nodded. Taking the cards she started shuffling. It was her turn to deal. Dealing out the cards she picked up hers and scanned through the numbers. Thinking up the best cards to get rid of. <span style='color:darkred'>I hope i'm not being a burden to you guys... </span> She had a very calm face but sweat streamed the back of her neck and her brow. It was barely noticable for her fur wasn't streaked with wetness... Besides her neack but that wasn't visable from the front or under her hair.
<span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju walked out to the main room, dressed in her light blue nightgown, <span style='color:blue'>"Sure, if you don't mind using the couch, we don't have a futon. Hishema, don't you need to go to bed as well?"</span> She returned to her room after that.</span> <span style='color:green'>"No, I don't have to get up as early as you." <span style='color:darkgreen'>Hishema returned to her cards, </span>"L-let's c-continue."</span>
Another game after another game... They seemed to be taking turns winning except for the lucky winning streak Hishema got into once and a while. Nudek WAS having fun but she was struggling to keep a calm and fun filled face on. Once the game was finished and Hishema had won with a straight over Nudeks two pairs Nudek put down the cards and sat back with a grimace on her face. <span style='color:darkred'>You mind if we stop here? I need to sleep, and you have stuff to do tomarrow...</span> Leaning over and laying her head into the couch pillow she sighed. She wasn't going to get to sleep... Even if her body and mind both went out on her... She still wasn't going to get to sleep. Taking a deep breath and exhaling she closed her eyes. <span style='color:darkred'>Sorry about this Hishema.</span> She shifted on the couch slightly and moved her tail from under her foot.
<span style='color:green'>"It's okay...I-I had fun." </span><span style='color:darkgreen'>Hishema had almost stopped her studdering. She smiled slighty, put the cards away and withdrew to her room to sleep.</span> ---------------------------------------------- <span style='color:darkblue'>Tucoju awoke a few hours before the school started. She quicky donned her usually blue dress. She loved it because her mother had sown it for her. After eating some quick cereal, she quietly left the dorm, and headed for the library, and her job.</span>
Nudek had been right. She had probably gotton so little rest that night that her mind was screeming at her. Her head was pounding and her body, stiff. Trying to move she pulled herself up with her hands pushing against the couch arm. <span style='color:darkred'>Why can't i sleep...</span> Sitting up she sighed. Rubbing her eyes and looking around she saw light streaming through the blinds on the windows. It was still really early. She mentally kicked herself. <span style='color:darkred'>Duh... Tucoju just left...</span> Leaning down over the couch she grabbed her crutches. Pushing herslef off the couch with them she stumbled to stand up and walk away from the couch. Walking to the kitchen area of the dorm she went to the fridge. Opening it and looking for something to drink she found some kind of fruit juice. She took it out and set it apon the table. Looking through every cupboard until she found the glasses was slightly difficult... Grabbing a glass and setting it on the table she poured juice for herself then put the juice back into the fridge. Sighing she walked back to the couch on her crutches, WITH a drink in her hand... She sat down and took a small sip from the glass. It wasn't a bad taste. <span style='color:darkgreen'>Hishema walked out into the main room, wearing her uniform, <span style='color:green'>"G-good morning Nudek.."</span> She poured herself a bowl of cereal and sat down across from Nudek and started eating</span>, <span style='color:green'>"D-do you w-want some cereal? I c-can get you some."</span>
Hishema's voice seemed distant at the time. Nudek finally realised she was being spoken too and blinked a few times, looking at Hishema like she apeared out of thin air. A small smile apeared on her face as she shook her head. <span style='color:darkred'>No, it's alright. I'm going to have to get up and leave your dorm sometime. I can't bunk here forever.</span> Picking up her glass once again she stared at the liquid moving silently inside... Taking a sip she heaved her shoulders in a silent sigh. Through the blinds the sun was casting long strips of light along the room. She would be glad when walking came easily to her once again...

She grabbed her school bag and after following Nudek out she said, </span><span style='color:green'>"So...w-when are we going o-on another h-hunt?"</span> <span style='color:darkgreen'>She quickly left, smiling slightly at the thought of another treasure hunt.</span>
Nudek watched in astonishment as Hishema left the room.
