1. Meira hears the librarian scramble away and looks to her brother, "Where's she going?"

Aiolos turns to his sibling, having been watching the retreating figure of Zeikara, "Back to the Janardan library. She said to come by whenever we had a chance."

"So when's the next time you go?"

Aiolos smirks, "Soon. I have to return long-overdue books."

Meira shakes her head. "You're impossible. You've probably read the library three times over already, haven't you?"

"Maybe not all." Aiolos thinks about it, "Just the more magically inclined sections."

If Meira could roll her eyes; she would.

\\ OOC: Okay, I'll give this thread another day or so, and if nobody else joins in, I'll get it closed and moved to the records, so it's not cluttering up the forum. hehe [IMG]

  2. OOC: Hallo! I hope you don't mind the intrusion! [IMG]

The air was crisp, cold, but not altogether unforgiving. Something about the frosty air pleased Deimos, perhaps its similarity to his own rather brisk personality. Whatever, it was the cold was always a sweet reprieve to his tired soul. This particular day was just like any other, patrol, looking for odd happenings, kill odd happenings. It was simple, but it was his life. Structured and controllable, he liked it that way.

The soft sounds of voices drifted to DeimosÂ’s well-trained ears, causing him to pause his current patrol. Signs of life were quite uncommon on his patrol, perhaps something was wrong. If in fact there was something wrong that meant that he would have to fix it. With a small sigh, Deimos trotted off in the direction he supposed these voices were coming from.

Over the rise of a small hill, he spotted two pendragons simply talking. A small grumble escaped from him, as he slowly made his way towards them. HeÂ’d ask at least, that was his duty. Protect the citizens, keep them safe. But, he couldnÂ’t stay for too long. It wasnÂ’t prudent to neglect oneÂ’s duties.

“Hello there," He called, as he approached the two, his deep voice rumbling like thunder. He looked over the two keenly, judging them both as non-threatening. Just two citizens out for a stroll.

    How boringÂ…

  3. \\ OOC: Don't mind at all! :D Glad t' have ya! Just watch out for Aio, he's a bit of a jerk to people he doesn't know. LOL ;)

    \\ IC

Aiolos gives the newcomer a quick once-over, and says nothing. He keeps both eyes on him, however. He was his sister's protector, or so he'd deemed himself, and inviting a potential threat was not high on his list od to-dos.

So Meira takes charge, despite being blind. "Hello! I'm Meira Vhaamanir." She jerks her head towards her brother, "My older brother, Aiolos. Don't mind him."

Aio calmly stares at his sister for a brief moment, before returning to look at the new 'dragon.

  4. Deimos watched this Aiolos character with wary eyes. Well, whoever this boy was he certainly wasn't a sociable fellow. No matter, Deimos wasn't much different. He regarded the seemingly threatened 'dragon with a slight nod of the head. He'd be civil, no reason to cause a senseless brawl. Especially when he was supposed to be keeping the peace.

"Deimos Black, its a pleasure," He replied to Meira's introduction. Unfortunately, Deimos's own way of being polite never really registered with most people. It was just seen as rude or cold. He really did have good intentions however, just wasn't quite so good at showing them.

His attention shifted from the brother to the sister, who seemed to be looking at him rather blankly. He narrowed his eyes slightly, attempting to discern her awkward glare. It was then he realized the girl was quite blind. He softened his gaze, and returned his attention to the brother. He wouldn't treat the girl differently in any way, just go about business as usual.

"Chilly today, isn't it?" He stated, raising his face to regard the pale blue sky.

  5. Meira's ruby colored eyes, with their clouded murky pupils, blink slowly, then settle closed. No use leaving them open, now is there?

She discerned right away this one was similar to her brother, though a bit more social than Aiolos. This assumed, she was no less happy than should would be meeting anyone else. The anti-social just needed to be approached differently than the bubbly lunatics - like herself!

Meira grins happily, "Not so bad, I like the cold, when it's like this." she continues with a bit of irritation in her voice, "But somebody thinks I can't handle it." She smirks playfully.

Her jibe was meant to Aio, and that was easily enough seen; the ground beneath her had earlier been quite warmed by Aio's elemental magic, leaving grass exposed, and the snow and ice melted and evaporated.

Aiolos flicks his ears briefly back at her trying to injure his pride. Unfortunately, he isn't easily put off, and Meira's jab was simply her way of getting back at his hovering.

\\ OOC: LOL, what a pair, eh? Similar to my family, actually. Where else to get good inspiration than reality? hehe [IMG]
