He listens as her breathing slows, and drifts off to sleep himself. He thinks to himself, I think I am in love.
Peiruh's mind wandered, thinking of all the things that had happened today and the many years that had gone by. She secretly wondered, even in sleep, of what this would become. A smile etched her face as she slept, and the dreams were sure to be pleasurable and most probably had the face of her sleeping companion.
He opened his eyes, and glanced at the clock. He seen that it is midnight, and groaned. He tried to relax and go back to sleep. He looks down and watches her sleep. He smiles and gently moves, so that he doesn't wake her up. He quietly leaves the room and goes outside, hoping that the cool, crisp air from the storm, will calm him down. He leans against the wall, and closes his eyes. He knows the reason why he woke up, and can't go back to sleep. He had a very realistic dream, which involved, himself and Peru. He came outside to try and calm himself down, without waking her up, and cause her to feel pressured. He steps over to his cooler, and grabs a beer, and sits down and opens it, and take a drink.
Peiruh had noticed his absence but had remained quiet, she would let him think or whatever he was doing. Creeping from the bed she pushed open the windows quietly and leapt from the ledge, spreading her monsterous wings and flying to the front of the building. Hovering near the door she peaked, trying to figure out the reason for this midnight disturbance. Still sleepy she rubbed her eyes, and decided to sit ont he porch. The stillness did miracles for the mind and crickets music was beautiful. Touching the porch railing, green sparks shot through her finger into the boring wood. Vines with tiny purple flowers bloomed suddenly and she smiled at the miracle of nature and magic of course. Such small herb magicking was nothing and simply caused her to shudder with a pinch of pain. It was always different. Sometimes she felt pain others times she just got tired. Obviously that pain would keep her powers in check, for rampant magic, no matter how good spirited, is never good.
Vac heard Peiruh open a window and fly out. He figured that she would probably feel him move and wake up. He tries to clear, the all to vivid images, from his head. He takes a drink of his cold beer, and calls to her. "Peru, hun I am on the otherside of the house, if you want to join me." He sighs knowing there is only one way, to get the images out of his head. He can understand though, that she is not ready. He prepares himself for a sleepless night.
She could almost feel his anxiety. Her eyes looked out at the moon and she smiled. Come outside. She didn't once move from the spot on the porch. By now his once dulling railings and stairs were blossoming with flowers. On top of that a silver moon cast them all in a sweet eerieness, like something from a movie. Grabbing her tail she hugged in a lost, childhood effort to make things all better. What's wrong? She felt for him but didn't know what was bugging him. Her mind was to sloshed from being woken.
He gives her a slow glance over, and reaches out to pull her close. He realizes, that she must be exhausted, from being awoken suddenly. He nuzzled her neck, and sits her on his lap. "I was awoken bye, a very vivid dream. Would you like a beer?" He doesn't usually change the subject but, isn't quite sure, that he is ready to tell her, what happened in the dream.
She shook her head at the offer of beer. Her eyes pierced his, trying to see his ailment, and then she quickly looked away. I decorated your porch hope you don't mind? Peiruh wasn't sure if she really wanted to know, and perhaps it wasn't important. You know what...I wonder what it would be like to be a mother. I mean, cause you know I never really had one. She smiled, and cradled her arms as if holding a kid. The dream ended and she snapped back to reality.
He smiled. "I don't mind that you decorated the porch, it looks nice." He finished his beer, and tossed the empty can into a trash can. He thinks about what she said. He rests his head on her neck. "I am sure that when, the time is right you will make a wonderful mother." He feels the wind pick up again. "Looks like the storm is going to come back through, lets move back inside."
She blushed at the realization that she had just said that outloud. Jumping out of his lap she pushed through the door and shook her head, she felt so silly. Well I can't go back to sleep. Peiruh's mitch matched eyes watched him. Curiousity killed the cat and Peiruh didn't want to die yet she wanted to know. Dropping onto the coach she sat indian style waiting for anything at all.
He follows her inside, and closes the door, and moves to close the window that she left open. He walks over and sits on the floor so, that he can look up into her eyes. He looks up at her, and his eyes fell onto one of her shapely legs. He realizes that he is practically staring, and quickly stands up, and moves to sit next to her on the couch. He runs a hand over her knee, and says,"So, what is on your mind? I know what I have on my mind but, I really don't know if we should discuss it or not. Tis the reason I woke up in the first place."
She watched him stare and just giggled. As he moved next to her she gave him a crooked grin and then raised her brow. My mind? Hmm well Im wondering why you woke up in the first place. She let her words sit for a moment before decided to sit differently. Swinging her legs out in front of her she sighed and then touched the messy bun. Pulling it out, her long, wavy hair framed her face beautifully and brushed her shoulder with grace. You dont have to tell me...but honesty is key in a relationship.
He watches her hair fall down over her shoulders, and lets out a soft sound. His voice thick with desire, he whispers,"I dreamt that you and I were making passionate love." He presses his face into her hair, and runs his hands up and down her arms.
She smiled at him, and his little dream. Running her hand against his face, and then turning it so she could see him she leaned to whisper in his ear. It will happen...I promise. Pulling away, she grabbed her hair and braided it into to pigtails. But I just want to wait because things can happen...
He looks into her eyes, and whispers back,"I know it will happen, and I do understand that there are things that can happen." He stops, and places one of his hands on one of her shapely legs, and continues,"I know that we haven't known each other very long but, I think I love you. I am not just saying it just to get into your pants."
She blinked a bit shocked at his proclamation. Her face burned red and her hands went to her cheeks and then went to her heart. Grabbing his hand she placed it on her chest and whispered. My heart is racing. Dropping them she launched herself at him, her arms around his neck, and the force of her attack sending him backwards. Her smile was brighter then ususual, and she gave him a sweet eskimo kiss.
He lands against the couch, aand wraps his arms around her. "I have to warn you that, at this rate, getting myself to calm is going to be practically impossible. I may have to go take a jog, otherwise I might end up at least giving a taste of pleasure."
She listened to his words and wondered what she truly wanted. Truly...in all honesty she wanted a happy life, with love and children, but could Vac offer here that? Swallowing her own desire she jumped off and tugged at his hand. I'll go run with you. She smiled. She wouldn't tempt him, because that was unfair. Sliding through the door, she looked behind at him, and then jumped up on the rail she had decorated. Pushing off, her expansive wings caught the wind and held her aloft. Peiruh's chiming laugh mixed with the howl of the coming storm and her twinkling eyes commanded the trust of any around her.
He stands up as she pulls on his hand. He walks over to the door and leans against it. He grins as she flies out the door. "I have no problem with you running with me but, may I point out that it is getting windy, and that you arepretty much only wearing one of my shirts. Ofcourse, I don't mind the view at all but, it brings us back once again to matters at hand." He can't help but, stare at the bueaty of her.
She looked down at the silken shirt she wore and for a moment she felt like being mischivious but then it would just make things worse then it was. Hmm good point. She zipped past his head into the house and into the bedroom. Finding some boxer shorts of his, she came right back out, this time though she was walking. Ok I'm ready. She winked and trotted down the stares. I'll race ya. That would get his mind off of...that.
