<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry I havenÂ’t had any inspiration to write this up. I hope everything goes okay for you Dragon, hurricanes are dangerous.</td></tr></table> Eka watched as the other students performed the desired task, she hoped that Antirian was watching them as well maybe it would help her get a good idea of the task at hand. Her trisk still seem to react to the sound of the whistle but after she heard it so many times she guess that she was finally getting used to it. Maybe the next time they went up they would show some improvement. When no ones else seemed like they were going up and Nafel walked off with a problem with her whistle, it seemed that she often got hit with bad luck, Eka stepped up the place they had been practicing. Eka placed her hawk down on the ground and slowly went through the steps. Stay, come, back and whistle. When Antirian didnÂ’t fly in a big circle when she heard the whistle Eka felt a lot better about what they were doing, now that they were getting some where. Once again she went through it and her trisk was performing much like everyone elseÂ’s. After the two times going through it she went to stand to the side to give someone else a try.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry for the delay.....</td></tr></table> Salme sighed. Her brain was staring to get overloaded with the Ramaithian comands. Any more and she knew she would start mixing them up. Already, Ruck and Tsui seemed dangerously similar comands. Oh well, she wanted to have a trained trisk didn't she? Besides Inarik was going through this just like her. She waited until it was her turn and placed Inarik on the starting line. And after telling her to "tsui" she walked a ways away and turned back to the bird. "Kyna. Sy Femd." Salme said the commands together and Inarik seemed to understand her general meaning. The bird flew up into the air, stalling slightly as she did. Salme let out a blast on her wistle "Rukc!". She said. But Inarik did not seem to be pleased. The silvery trisk circled above a bit more, looking very uncertain. "Rukc! Kyna!" Salme blew the whistle once more, hoping at least one of the commands would strike home in the bird's brain. Inarik circled once more before swooping down and landing on Salme's head. She lifted her arm and stroked the bird. "You tried. You'll get better."

I’m sorry to skip her, but I don’t have the patience to continue to wait. I double checked the absence thread and she’s got no notification of gone-ness there, so I can’t feel all too bad. Until she starts posting again, I will not be waiting for her. She can rejoin whenever, but I any lessons missed will have to be made up IC’ly for her to be eligible for the OOC Award. *prance* New lesson will be written and posted either tonight or tommorow.</td></tr></table> Turrush smiled at his class, and blew once on his whistle. "Gather ‘round, class. Now, You very much need to practice the commands taught today. Your birds must gain a decent understanding of them by next lesson. We’re meeting outside the aviary again, and you are to bring the birds hooded and off their leads. Next week will be the first time we’ll work the birds free outdoors. Think of it as your first real test. I’ll even be grading you on your training quality and handling ability. See you next lesson."
