Hishema pouted, "I'm not an Apprentice, no will believe me when I say I'm good enough to be a Journeyman." She folded her wings around her body and put her jacket back on. She sighed and followed him back to the shop.
"Oh don't be like that. I don't like to make people sad. But even Journeyman is no Master. Believe me." Kwerty said in a comforting tone, "I'd love for you to teach me some time, ok?" Kwerty kept walking past the shop, and down the road, looking back briefly to see if Hishema wanted to walk with him.
"Okay," She lowered her head. When they got to the shop and she saw him going past, Hishema tilled her head slightly and perked an eyebrow, confused. She knew if something happened she could get away in less than a second so she didn't worry much, and followed him.
Kwerty noticed the head tilt, "What, you can't walk with a friend?" He laughed and his tone then changed dramatically. "Vematta, you think he's ok? I mean, he seems kinda shady with that vial and all." Kwerty slowed a little to move back a little and walk next to Hishema.
Hishema bowed her head a little, "I thought we were going to the shop so I was confused as to where you were going." "Where are we going?"
"I dunno. I figure we don't really need a destination right now, but if you have someplace to be. By all means, go for it." Kwerty smiled, "I don't mind walking by myself."
"Well, I need to head back to the Janardian Academy but I don't need to be there for a few weeks. Wanna walk with me? It takes about a week to get there if we don't hurry." Hishema smiled, the thought of walking with Kwerty, her first real friend, made her happy. It'd be just like camping with a friend only they'd be walking the whole day. No matter, she was still excited about it.
"Yea, I don't have anywhere else to go. Janar sounds good." Kwerty smiled. He took off a sleeve of his coat, and held it on the opposite arm. He strectched his wings as he walked. Thinking of how Janardian has changed, his mind wandered. His thoughts turned to Hishema. He looked over slightly. Then he thought of kittens..... Yes. Fluffy fluffy kittens. Then his thoughts went back to Hishema, he was curious as to what she thought of him. "So, if you don't mind me asking. What business do you have at Janardian?" Kwerty looked over curiously.
"Oh, I live there, kind of." Hishema laughed for a short moment, "I live there when I'm not off...somewhere." "See my sister works there and has a dorm there as well, so I'll stay there for a 3-4 weeks every year and visit. Then I head out to go travell the world."
"Right right." Kwerty nodded as she spoke. He looked away and watched all the scenery go by slowly. He liked where he was right now, walking with a friend to a place that really held no purpose for him. Ah, the good life.
As they walked along, Hishema pointed out various bits of scenery that appealled to her. She was actually slightly happy for once in her life. Since she usually lived anyway she was always prepared for having to sleep outside. She'd just use her kinetic powers to make herself a little underground hollow. She'd make it off the path so no one would find it, and she'd make a little up slope at the entrance so water wouldn't come in. She had gotten very good at this lifestyle and thought it as being very peaceful. She wasn't sure how she'd handle having someone else with her, she'd never really needed to have a changing room before, but she certainly wouldn't let someone see her naked and live to think about it. "Oh no, It's getting dark we'd better find somewhere to stay." Hishema quickly looked at her map and said, "There's a town a kilometre or two ahead if we hurry we can get there by nightfall." 'Whew I managed to avoid having to be outside this time.'
"Alright, I've just got to go do somthing first. Keep walking, and I'll catch up. " Kwerty smiled. He turned then suddenly and walked off into the woods. Looking around, he took a seat on a rather mossy rock. Out of sight from the road, Kwerty slumped over. Pulling somthing from his bag. His arm started violently moving. A slight mist, more of an eerie smoke started rising from the paper. As he finished, the pencil broke. His head tilted back as if he was pulling backwards against somthing. He closed the notebook quickly. He stuck it back in his bag, and started walking back towards the road.
"Umm, okay." Hishema looked around, then sat down on the side of the road, "I'll wait here." When he returned she asked, "You finished?" She giggled, "Come on the town's just over there." She led the way and found a hotel relatively quickly, "I'll pay this time." She paid for two single rooms and gave Kwerty the key, "Sorry, no sharing a room."
Kwerty now rather exausted just nodded, "Thanks, and I understand." Kwerty moped to the room that matched the key. With shadows under his eyes, he looked to see where to put the key. He couldn't see where to put the key, but he played it off quite nicely by heading off to the bathroom. He washed his face, and looked up in the mirror. At least I won't have any nightmares tonight.... Kwerty thought to himself. Assuming that Hishema had already gone to her room, Kwerty headed back to the Lobby and layed on one of the couches. Resting his head on a pillow that seemed to be quite soft. But then again anything would probally be soft enough to sleep on right now. Within mere seconds Kwerty was asleep. He got to count half a sheep, and this is what he dreamt about. Half a sheep... dancing and prancing around in a field of Smurfs™. Or maybe they were just blue Luoko's, Kwerty didn't care. He was enjoying his rest for the first time, in a long time.
Hishema entered her room and placed her bags on the floor. She was quite tired by now, so she got changed and headed to bed right away. ---Tomorrow x_x!! --- The morning sun greeted Hishema's eyes and she stretched and yawned. Walking out to the main area, she noted the food in the rooms cupboards. She found something she liked and started eating. After she'd finished eating she got changed, grabbed her stuff, and headed down to the main lobby.
Kwerty sat up, with something like a hangover. Rubbing his head, he looked around and realized where he was. Again he looked around but this time to find his bag. After a couple minutes of looking, he realized it was inbetween his legs where he was sitting. Squinting a little, he looked inside it. Everything was there, he wasn't one to be paranoid. But he was in some lobby somewhere. He stood, and actually walked to his room for the first time. He opened the door, and noticed Hishema going for the lobby. He stepped in, and headed for his bathroom. He got in the shower, after taking off his clothes n' such, he turned on the warm water, and lathered up slightly. He sung a little of one of his favorite songs as he was in the shower, and enjoyed this a little too much. Only because he didn't feel good, and it was the first shower he'd had in a while.
Hishema greeted the lobby staff and sat on a couch with her stuff. She wondered what would happen today. Her life was an adventure, she never had a normal day. When nothing happened it was boring. She looked around at the nice hotel, noting the decorated walls, and well lit rooms. It was a very nice place to sleep. She let out her breathe and waited, 'And I thought I took a long time to get ready.'
After about an hour of staring at the bathroom wall, Kwerty finnaly stepped out of the stall. Without really taking a shower. He put his clothes on, after drying off, grabbed his stuff. And headed out to the lobby. He greeted Hishema with a hearty hello, and looked outside. The sun was shining, and Kwerty was feeling okay. He then walked over and sat next to Hishema, "So, which way are we going? I'm not sure I know my way to Janar from here." Kwerty asked as if he didn't take a while.
Hishema wad been wandering around the lobby looking at the walls and other decorated items as Kwerty showed up. With a pout on her face she asked, "Good morning sleepy-head." She had hidden her wings since she woke up. The night before a few people looked at her funny when they saw her wings. It actually frightened her a little. "I know the way, I took the liberty of plotting a map on this." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small dome-shaped object. She press a button on the side of it and a holographic map of ramath-lehi appeared. She pressed another button and the map zoomed in to show their location and a line down various trails and roads to the Janardian Academy. "Another of Tucoju's inventions. I'm not sure if it was already invented but she made this. Pretty cool, eh?"
Kwerty smiled, and nodded at the same time. "Very nifty. Wait, Who's Tucoju? A boyfriend of yours?" He laughed slightly. After his laugh, he started to look around at the various decorations n' such as Hishema had moments before. "So which of the little lines are we taking? Ooh, how bout this one?" He put his finger in the hologram, and pointed to a longitudal line. "It's very straight." He said with a very limited amount of techno-logic. He found himself playing with the hologram for some time, until he smacked his own hand away. Looking back up at Hishema, he smiled once more. And began to look around again.
