  1. As Tesreail began re-arranging the contents of her cage, Hoshiko took a few small hops forward, nose raised and twitching frantically. She seemed to pause, debating whether or not to move. What ever was going on in the herbivore's brain, she eventually deemed Schism safe enough and loped over to inspect her pant leg. Tes pulled away from the hutch, leaving the door open for his pet. The tiny ceramic bowl in the corner was refilled, and the wood shavings on the cage floor had been clean, and didnÂ’t require his attention for the moment.

When Tesreail turned back to Schi’, he glanced down at Hoshi and smiled.<span style='color:gray'> “She’s not really shy by nature… Just not used to strangers."</span> His smile turned sheepish, hands fidgeting with the ends of his sleeves. <span style='color:gray'>“I just don’t really have a lot of people over, you know? Er… You’re actually the first."</span> With the smile still on his face, Tesreail began unpacking his bag, placing a few thick novels onto the shelf. Once his reading material was packed away safe and sound, he zipped his bag closed again and sat down on the bed.<span style='color:gray'> “Would you like to sit down?"</span> he asked tentatively.

  2. <font face=georgia size=1 color=white><blockquote>Schism looked at the rabbit and smiled, very slightly. She really wanted to grin quite hugely, but she figured the show of teeth might be too much for the little harok and that wasn't a risk she was willing to take. A couple of fingers were extended, gently, toward Hoshiko as the bunny hopped close to her leg. Schi didn't force it, though, figuring that it would be better to let the harok choose how much attention from the Sunhawk she was going to permit.

<font color=gray>"She's a little sweetheart, aren'tcha, Hoshiko?"</font> She purred down at the harok, gently smiling again, before looking over at Tes. <font color=gray>"Why's that? I'd think people would love to come in here. It's so... you."</font> Maybe that was the problem, some pendragons weren't as good at being social as Schism and she suspected Tesreail was one of them. At his mention of sitting she tentatively moved toward his bed, feeling weird, as if she shouldn't be sitting next to him. So she sat at the other end, quietly, not to distance herself from him, but so that her arms weren't entangled with every movement. <font color=gray>"So what's your roomie like? I've never had one. Always wondered if they were as cool or uncool as books claim they are."</font>

  3. Tesreail played with a loose thread poking out of his pants, thinking over SchismÂ’s last question. It was hard to put his relationship with Turmoil into a single sentence. The first time they had met, Tesreail had been extremely depressed, and Turmoil in an aggravated mood. The result had been a rather rocky start to their relationship, and a less than friendly demeanour to each other. Since then, they seemed to only see each other at night when they both went to bed, or when they passed each other in the halls between classes.

<span style='color:gray'>"WellÂ… ItÂ’s okay, I guess. We donÂ’t really see each other that often. Usually just in the evenings and stuff. My roomies pretty good though, he keeps his stuff pretty clean and doesnÂ’t go through my stuff."</span>

That was something Tesreail could not stand, people going through his things. In his mind, personal belongings were sacred, not to be touched without their owners permission.

Hoshiko continued her meticulous examination of the Sunhawk, pressing her nose towards the prooffered fingers. It was rare for the rabbit to encounter new things, and this foreign scent was fascinating to the sheltered critter. Her tiny nose twitched, going into overdrive. The harok even went so far as to rest a padded paw against one of the 'dragon's drigits, all fear lost at the chance to explore this strange new person.

  4. <font face=georgia size=1 color=white><blockquote>Schism was delighted with the reaction Hoshiko was giving. It was definitely not what she had expected. To her, it proved intelligence in the harok species that her tribe had always contested. This might seem a strange way to come to that conclusion, but the Sunhawk was a strange beast, and she had no intention of letting how others thought influence how she thought.

She tipped her head to the side as Tes spoke, nodding in understanding. Schism herself was angry when others messed with her things and she knew how it could be. Of course everyone had learned not to touch her things, otherwise they would get into a lot of trouble. And she took revenge very seriously. Either she wounded them as deeply or moreso, therefore no one wanted to do it more than once. Sometimes she was lenient, but if it was a friend, usually she had no problem with them touching her things. So long as they asked and didn't merely invade her space.

<font color=gray>"Heh, yeah, I can imagine it would be annoying if you couldn't even trust him to keep his paws to himself."</font> Schi said, with a smile, her head still tipped to the side, watching Teserail, one strand of hair falling over her eye, but she didn't stop it. Just watched the other pendragon, curious and silent. Uh... right, she should have come up with a new topic. Maybe he would?
