Lylesu sang the final note, matching up with the last chord of the music beautifully. The cafe was filled with polite applause, not to loud or boisterous, but showing the appreciation of the crowd all the same. Lylesu blushed, bowed, and quickly returned to her seat. "How was I?" She asked Cilea.
Cilea applauded along with the rest of the cafe as Lylesu sung the final note. She was often one to applaud and yell loudly at most music venues, but the toned down applauds fit the situation better. "You sang beautifully." She said truthfully with a smile. "Shame there wasn't a band looking for vocals to scoop you up." She wasn't sure if that was Lylesu's dream but she knew it was one of her's when ever she sang in public places such as this. A few moments later the server came back and placed the two plates in front of their respectful owners and quietly walked away. "Have you done many public performances?" She asked, since Lylesu had seemed pretty comfortable up on stage.
Lylesu blushed, "Nothing MAJOR, but I have done small performances in front of friends, small parties, thing's like that. The only problem with a band, is that it may require me to stick in one spot, or travel all over. It'd make it hard for me to do my own thing, you know?" She quickly, but gently, dug into her food. She hadn't had any real food for a long time.
Cilea nodded, a band would be take a lot of commitment and Lylesu definitely had other concerns at the moment. She watched as the younger thill pounced on her dish, thinking that she had probably been dragging out what ever money she had left. She wished who new another way to help the girl. "How long do you think you'll be sticking around Watani? Just long enough to to scour every nook and cranny?" Cilea asked, picking her way through her salad.
"Yea, probably, chase after anyone who looks like my family... stuff like that. I'll probably be gone in a week or so...." She trailed off. She finished her meal and looked a Cilea, "Thanks so much, you have know idea how much that's helpe-" She cut herself off gazing at a male pendragon walking on the sidewalk outside. "THAT MIGHT BE HIM! THANKS! SORRY!" Lylesu yelled racing out into the street after who she thought may be her brother. ((I just took up your idea XD!
