Simpering with the intent of the devil, Nyymbatta drew extended her arms from about her waist's curve to her sides, where they would push gently against the weight of the water. Propelled forth, she moved quickly after Vanti, casting Syd a glance over her shoulder to see if he'd decided to follow suit or not... and to see just how annoyed he'd become. Upon gauging his expression as 'increasing irate' Nyym grinned broad at him and even went so far as to beckon him with one webbed finger, and possibly, a wink? "Come on!" It was all too quick. The ghastly thill, giggling like the school girl she was, moved on with the three while overhead the thunder of a storm that no land-borne pendragon would ever know grew louder. Her heart pumped loud in her chest.
ooc: yup, but you posted right after her, so i decided to post somewhere in between. the order is Kiba, Enlaska, Phylus.
OOC; doesn't that mean Kiba shoulda posted? I'll go on ahead and post though. Syd didn't argue when he was called forward by both the 'dragons, casting a look at Nyym as he was rushed to follow. That didn't bother him too much as he didn't want to get eaten by whatever was getting closer. He didn't really know what he'd do when he got to the boy's house; he couldn't exactly keep to himself, because that'd be kind of rude. He'd figure it out when he got there. The Arden followed closely behind the other two, staying silent and trying to get himself back into a better mood. It wasn't usually like him to get in a sour mood just because he was being ignored by choice, but whatever. He'd deal.
Relenting to a sigh, which looked like nothing more than a rolling rush of water in the sea than anything else, Nyym spun her head forward again with her light-amber eyes in seek of the stranger's house. Syd's spirits were not rising, but she could tell his cool veneer was beginning to give way to his earlier cheerfulness. Vaint trailed them up a street -- the houses there were fairly middle-class, surprisingly. In her experience, most of the houses around the geyser were lower-class shanties, many of them constructed of nearby native materials. They'd passed several buildings that were made of crushed shells, glistening in the moon, or long-dead animal bones, skeletal and ominous. Some of the older homes, however, were lively. Because of their seniority, these houses had begun to act as habitat for what little wildlife existed near the geyser. Richer folks around the geyser generally made their houses of more high-tech material. Some of them even were self-contained in air domes permeable to living flesh and nothing else. While passing, Nyym spotted a beautiful home which someone had made of driftwood and anchored down with a myriad of heavy objects. She sighed again without meaning to, this time because her mind had wandered to thoughts of Lar. By that time, the trio had arrived to a set of doorsteps.
((Time to resurrect this or what?)) Vanti, still using his little moniker of Vaint, was quick to open the door to the home of his relatives. The home was dark, like it had been for a while now. In truth, these relatives were going to be gone for some time with vacation in their minds. The only reason he was there was to house-sit, probably the only chore asked of him he barely minded to do. It was a modest, middle class home, like the rest of the area, made of carefully cut rocks and artistically adorned with sunken driftwood. The young aquabat turned to his visitors and gestured them inside. "Come on, no one's here," he called in a whisper. He waded further into the home to get some lights on so his guests wouldn't knock over anything. ((Meh, not bad for my first RP post in a year, but still seems like it needs some more practice))
