Nuuiki looked up, jumping at the sight of fire swirling above they're heads. He looked at her to see that she was doing it. He hopped up onto her lap and watched the fire swirl. He pulled a small twig from the fire and tried to mimick her movements, the stick falling into the sand and burning out. His ears dropped in dispair, looking up at her he smiled.
looking closer now she realized he was only about 60 centimeters long. Huh. He seemed bigger when he grabbed her ankle. She smiled and gave him a hug, trying to make him feel better. It was a language they could both speak. ooc: grrrr *thwacks head against keyboard* no.... *thwack* ideas.... *thwack*
Nuuiki hugged her back, he hopped off her lap and pointed to the lake. He was a champion "charades" acter and made several swimming motions. He couldn't think of anything better to do, other than help her find her way back to janardan, or possibly home.
you're going to help me get to Janardan? thank you! her boots were light and she was well protected from the cold water. Besides, she could enchant teh water to dance off her. She scooped up Nuuiki and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Then with expert skill she dove into the freezing water. She sliced through the water quickly and when she surfaced she neared the middle of the lake. She swam back to shore and said sheepishly Maybe you should point out the way.
Nuuiki blushed at being kissed, quickly diving in with her. When they resurfaced he smiled happily. He pointed in the general direction of the sun, flapping his wings and lifting himself into the air, the water dripping off him. He did a couple circles above her head, excited to go.
uhh i'll just follow you in the water cause i dont have wings ok? she looked at her wingless back and sighed. She wished she had wings.
Nuuiki flew down to her, reaching his hand out for her to grab. He knew he'd be able to lift her, he wont be able to fly for long but he could do it. He retraced the way to janardan in his head, haveing a path picked out that showed off his favourite sights along the way.
OK, that works too..... she was afraid he wouldn't be able to carry her for long, so she enchanted a cloud under them to make a sort of flying couch where they could sit when Nuuiki got too tired. She watched him fly with a such a grace that made up for his silence, and was excited to be finally going to Janardan. She paid no attention to Nuuiki's thought of taking her back home.
Nuuiki smiled down at her as he flew, she was a lot lighter than he first thought. Or he was just stronger, not sure which. He pointed with his tail to the forested land below, where an opening in the trees revealed a waterfall.
