Jynx laughed, pushing his sandwiches into his paws. "The bugs that were crawling all over the place. Kcalda. Stupid pests." She shook her head, sighing. "You're just lucky they were too stupid to open this. I threw an empty one into the storm so they would leave." She explained, rising and looking around. "I guess I'll let you get back to sleep. I'm going to go check the library to make sure they didn't get in." She rushed off, dropping to all fours once more as she raced away.
"Oh my sandwiches yay I thought they were done for." He slowly munched on them for a while thinking. "Bloody hell what a day. What a day." Heh it was probably these which attracted them here in the first place. He watched her go down to her library before he lied down to sleep once more. Fey curled up in a ball protecting the box from harm. The violet dreamworld awaited him once more, slowly he drifted off with a faint snoring.
Jynx closed the secret door behind her before going into the library. Then, she let out a sigh of relief. The library was untouched, just as she had hoped. She walked back to her room, pausing at the purple room. Fey was fast asleep, snoring softly. She smiled and kept walking, ready to sleep some more. By the time she got to her room, she was tired enough to sleep for a week. She tumbled onto the mat, curling into a ball to keep warm, and fell asleep.
Fey'yore was exploring his dream and what a wonderful dream it was. Everything was a shade of purple, it seemed to take place in a forest clearing though it was hard to tell if they were trees. Fey sat on a tree stump surrounded in silence not even the creaking of branches. "Aaah the silence of contemplation at least here I can think." Fey himself had no control over the world it was governed by just emotions. He drew out his claws to scratch the wood wondering what the sap would look like how would the dream react to the violence. But as he dug them in they were suddenly wrenched deeper in stuck, horror filled his eyes as he tugged and tugged at it. Damn you let go! Eventually he gave up and just sat there one paw lower than the other.
Jynx felt herself being pulled into a strange dream, sucked out of her own. Everything was...purple. What happened? She wondered, walking around as she tried to figure it out. Looking down, she saw that, for some strange reason, her fur had turned purple. "Where am I?" She asked, mostly talking to herself as she wandered around the purple dream in confusion. Something in the back of her mind was nagging at her, and it wouldn't stop. Dreamweaving....dreamweaving, a voice whispered in her head. "Oh no...I can't do this very well." She muttered, sitting on the strangely soft purple ground to think.
After a little while Fey tried again with renewed effort. Placing one foot against the stump and his free paw clutching the stuck one, he pulled and pulled dangling above the ground with the effort. Slowly with a slight shudder his claws came free about a centimetre out. "Come on!!!" He could feel it weakening, easing until suddenly the whole of his paw came free and he tumbled to the ground with a large piece of bark stuck to his claws. "Oh so that's how it is."
Jynx just sat there, confused about everything. How had she gotten here? One minute she was asleep, enjoying her own dream, and the next she was in this purple wonderland. "Purple...wait a minute!" She was in Fey's dream. She got up, looking around for him. Hearing a strange crack and a voice, she moved toward the sound. Fey was sitting on the ground, a piece of bark stuck to his claws. "You turned me purple." She said accusingly, grabbing his paw to pull at the bark. It came loose after a while, sliding off his claws to tumble into her paw. She looked at it, scratching lightly at the bark. Finally, she turned back to Fey. "Well? Why'd you drag me into your dream?" She demanded.
Fey looked at her with a smile it so didn't suit her to be purple. "Me turn you purple no why would I do that?" As for why she was here he had no idea he didn't intentionally drag her here she just fell. "Anyway what are you doing here? I mean it's my dream ain't t?" Then again perhaps my spirit was a little too free and grabbed her, heh. He liked this world it was strangely pleasant.
Jynx tried her best to stay mad, but this place was so...happy. She looked around, feeling a little helpless. "I don't know why you turned me purple, you just did." She grumbled, and then gave him a quicksilver smile. Once it had faded from her face, however, she saw that it too had turned purple and was floating in the air. "Ok, that's just creepy." She said, laughing. Her ears swiveled toward him and she stuck her tongue out at him, her ears pressed back against her head. "Yes, it is your dream. That's why I'm purple. And I don't know why I'm here, and I don't know how to leave. So you're stuck with me until one of us wakes up." She threw the bark at him, laughing again.
"Hey this is odd never happened to me before must be the room I'm in." looking at the wafting smile with mild amusement. "Maybe you have something to do with this."Turning a sly eye to her. "After all your the only other reason I can think of as to why this happened." "Hey cut that out, ow!" Fey got hit in the face with the bark, spending some time blinking the wood granules from his eye drawing a tear .
Jynx laughed again. "I don't know. It could be me. I've been trying dreamweaving, but I'm not very good at it." Catching the sly look and smiling again. This smile stayed in the air too. "If that doesn't stop happening, I'm going to get really freaked out." But she couldn't help smiling again. "Sorry." She frowned when she saw the tear. For some reason, the frown didn't stay. "Are you ok? Just have wood chips in your eye?" She asked hesitantly. She hoped he wasn't crying. No, boys don't cry just cause they get hit, she thought. Deciding fun was the best way to cure everything in a dream, she tackled him, making them both tumble into a tree. "Bet you can't catch me." She jumped to her feet and raced away, laughing again.
Fey gave her ten seconds head-start before going after her. He changed into quad form drawing his claws remembering his brothers lessons. Fey shot off claws digging into the ground boosting his speed dodging trees here there and everywhere he laughed all the way. It didn't take long for him to catch sight of her after-all he was taught by one of the fastest runners. "Looks like I caught you." he called behind her Before she could even react he leapt off a log and tackled her to the ground, smiling at her as they rolled.
Jynx had just started gaining speed when he tackled her. "Hey! No fair!" She laughed, trying to squirm out of his grip. "Yeah, I guess you did." She broke free, jumping up, a strange glimmer in her eyes. "Can't do it again, though." She took off, concentrating as she ran. A moment later, the trees around her closed off, and a cave appeared close by. Cool. I'm getting the hang of this. She thought, hoping she had thrown Fey off, just a little. As she ran in, she turned back to her normal black color. Grinning, she continued running, leaping over rocks and slipping into a small crevice, her eyes shining in the dark. She was smaller; he'd never find her here.
"Oh yeah we'll see, it's my dream remember." He soon had picked himself up again enough to run but he wasn't fast enough to see where she went. Bugger, where did she go. Fey began to walk in a random direction wondering which way she would have gone. He didn't notice the dream shift slightly lessening in the purpleness.
Jynx watched as the purple trees outside slowly darkened and faded. They were replaced by huge mountains covered in caves. Jynx rushed out, turning and slamming into Fey. "Oof." She fell back, shaking her head before grinning at him. "It's my dream now." She said, jumping up and racing on all fours to the largest mountain. "Now you'll really never catch me!" She yelled, jumping up onto a ledge and climbing so fast she was just a blurr. She looked over her shoulder to see how far behind Fey was.
"Ouuch!" What is it with her and causing me pain, and where did those mountains come from. Fey couldn't believe this she was cheating and changing his dream. But it's my dream you can't do this "I've had enough of this I'm afraid, so I'm gonna wake up okay?" Fey knew she could hear him. Now how to wake up. He threw himself off a rock hoping the fall would wake him. Pain swept threw him, but he did not wake.
Jynx frowned. He's ruining all my fun. Oh well, she too jumped to wake herself, but then she saw he hadn't woken. She twisted around, grabbing a rock and climbing the rest of the way. "I think we may have a problem." She mused, sitting down next to him. "It shouldn't hurt that bad, it's just a dream. Come on, there's a cave over there." She stood up. Looking up, she saw rocks sliding down the mountain; she'd loosened a boulder with her little trick. Jynx stared for a second before realizing this wasn't just a dream any more. She grabbed Fey with surprising strength and threw him on her back, taking off across the ground. Run faster, she thought, not daring to look over her shoulder. "Someone has to wake us up. We can't wake up ourselves." She realized, talking aloud.
Fey tried to sit up only to realise he was on Jynx's back, looking forwards he saw a landslide chasing them he hurriedly jumped off to run beside her. "Just what did you do and why aren't we out of this dream?" Why me, why does this always happen to me? He slowly crept ever so slightly ahead of her he could see a cave in the distance it looked remarkably like Jynx's home.
"Uh...I mighty have caused a landslide by pulling out a support rock, and why are you asking me why we aren't out of this dream? How should I know?" She started running faster, trying to beat him to the shelter in the distance. (OOC: in the cave) Amaroq slipped into the cave, looking around. "I know I left it somewhere in here...oh, yeah." He made his way down the hall to the purple room, where he'd left his favorite dagger a few days ago. He turned on a lamp and saw a purple 'dragon lying on a blanket, looking a little troubled as he slept. Amaroq knelt over him for a moment before shaking him hard, growling as he did so. "What do you think you're doing?" Amaroq snarled, dragging him to his feet and lifting him high in the air.
Fey was about to win in the "life-threatening" race when the shaking suddenly removed him from the dream. He quickly opened his eyes to find himself hoisted off the ground and being glared at by some mean looking arden. Fey tried to look calm but that kind of thing tends not to be possible in these situations. The question seemed pretty pointless to him, the answer obvious but still he had to answer. "Erm....I was sleeping well trying until Jynx suddenly decided to try and change it." Fey slowly looked the arden up and down seeing some similarities in him and Jynx, ah now I see this must be her brother I wonder if Jynx'll wake up seeing as the dream is over. "I guessing and kinda hoping that your her brother, if not then please don't kill me."Fey gave him one of his usual disarming smiles.
