-- Ayrrk laughed as Taydran tried to get his hair to behave. Then he followed Ramix into his hallway. He smiled at the place, it had a welcoming feel about it. He stretched his paws and felt the plush texture of the carpet. It was so soft.. he had always longed to have an abode like this.. sadly all he'd been raised in was a large cave by a river. It'd been somewhat primitive, and it'd also lacked the modern look and decor of the typical household, but despite all of that, it had been home. He smiled at Ramix. "Not bad.. not bad at all my friend." He stretched his wings for a second then turned back to Kuentin and Taydran. They both had yet to enter the portal. "Come on in you two! I'm starving! We can't have tea until you are in here too!" He called back to them, sounding sort of impatient.
Kuentin, mouth opened, was staring; awestruck as Ramix made the portal appear. He was even more stunned by the beauty of the place. Wow, this must be the most extraordinary place i haave ever ... He was snapped back to reality by Ayrrk's somewhat impatient voice. He just nodded and ntered, eyes still open wide. He smiled as his paws made contact with the lush, warm carpet.
-- Ayrrk's stomach was growling ever louder. Hunger pains shot through him. He needed lunch NOW. He turned to Ramix, who was leading the group through his lovely house. It was very refined indeed, though this he could expect from a high healer. He was aboutto open his mouth to speak, but another hunger pang caused his mouth to water. "Ramix," he said, "not to be rude.. but can we see about that tea now?" He questioned, holding his abdomen and listening impatiently to it's grumbling.
Ramix laughed at Ayrrk and turned into a large door the high roof curved to a point and from it hung 30 crystal chandeliers all on long golden chains the right side wall was filled with plants of all sorts growing in from the jungle patio stretching out from the room and in the middle was a large table set with polished silver spoons forks and knives and porcelain tea cups and saucers. From the walls hung hundreds of tapestries projecting everything from battles to magic the room was spotless and filled with a warm light from the chandeliers the table was a lacquered wood finish on thick wood from a mayneh tree. As were the tall backed chairs. Ramix walked over to his large chair with a sun engraved on the top of it and sat down and gestured for the others to follow and then said. Now what is it you wonderful new friends would like to eat Ramix then pulled out chairs for them using a flow of air.
-- Ayrrk's jaw fell ajar. This place was, to Ayrrk, like a grand palace or some such affair. And indeed it was fit for a king, what with it's beautiful decor and extravagent furnishings. Being raised in a cave himself, Ayrrk wasn't used to such comfortable and expensive housing. He smiled, and wished for a moment he was a high healer, though that jealousy quickly wore off. His stomach grumbled. He'd been so overcome by Ramix's lovely home that he'd briefly forgotten his hunger. This too, was for a short time. He grinned at Ramix and said, politely, what was on his mind. "Ramix, how would you feel about some watermelons?"
Ramix clapped his paws together in delight Its has been so long since i have had watermellon good choice He said laughing and then with a snap of his fingers and a flow of air watermellons began floating out of the kitchen door and onto the plate in the middle of the table. then using a flow of earth fire and spirit intertewined Ramix cut a large piece and floated it over to Ayrrk's plate. as droplets of juice hit the table they were instantly absorbed and that made Ramix chuckle.
Ayrrk's eyes would've normally been filled with awe and amazement. But he was hungry. That would come first. Still, Ayrrk couldn't abandon his manners completely. "Wonderful trick Ramix, now if you'll excuse me.." He said as he began to eat the sweet pink melon..
Ramix laughed at Arryk and realised he was fairly hungry himself so he sliced himself a piece as well and began to dig in. Whyle he was doing this he was also making a pen write symbols and shapes and notes on a piece of paper next to him. The pen floated along the paper with ease Ramix loved this trick mainly because his paws didnt get tired. So away Ramix ate all the whyle scribbling on his paper. OOC- *tapps the screen* are the other two characteres who joined this thread still here?
Ayrrk looked up at Ramix and laughed, not realizing he had waterlemon juice all over his face. "Yet another neat trick I see.. Ramix, do you ever run out of surprises?" He chuckled as he went back to his melon. Watermelon was his favorite fruit, it always had been. And this one was full of sweet juice and had few of those annyoing black seeds that you weren't supposed to swallow for some reason. It was very good, to say the least. // OoC \\ -- I dunno. They seem to have dissappeared. Give them time.. yes..
ooc: Sorry ... Kuentin was hmmm ... Away for a bit But he's back now . Bic: Kuentin couldn't believe his eyes. This, He thought, Is definitely the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Sure, it was a "cute" and cosy as his Aunt's cave but it was ... Magnificent. Taking up Healing is definitely worth it if this is how you live once you are a Healer ... He mouthed silently, more to himself than to anyone else . A High Healer, he corrected himself. Kuentin was an ambitious 'dragon and already his mind was filled with pictures of him as a High Healer. He was snapped back to reality by Ramix's voice. Food? Watermelon? sounds nice enough. He joined the two others at the table an place a large piece of the fruit on his plate.
Ayrrk smiled at Kuentin and noted the ambition in his orbs. Having a dream. That was what life was all about. Having a goal and fufilling it to the fullest of your abiilities. Ayrrk's dream was to become a professional escape artist. Being a pessimist, he always tried to avoid trouble. But.. it wasn't always possible. If he became an escape artist, he could find a quick was out of any trouble he got into. At any rate.. he smiled again at Kuentin, and spoke to him in a giddy manner. "Good melon eh?"
"The best ..." said a winking Kuentin as he took neat little bites. He didn't quite know what to say. Instead, he telepathed his cousin Kae. {Kae? How are you? If you recieve this please tell Aunt Clara that I am very sorry but I will be a few hours late. Thanks, Kuentin}
Ayrrk grinned at Kuentin, who was obviously lost in his own little world, or perhaps he was talking to someone with telepathy. He'd been so famished, that he finished his melon before long. All that was left was the rind. He grabbed a near-by napkin and wiped his maw. He was fairly dissapointed that the melon hadn't lasted longer. Still, beggers can't be choosers, and he knew that good and well. He looked at Kuentin again. "So... what kind of house do you live in Kuentin?" He said, briefly glancing at Ramix's magnificent abode.
