takjas finished crying she felt better. no doubt that baal had gone on with out her. then she heard his vocie. she quickly put the gem away she stood up took a step and triped and the same bloody root! she was such a cluts! don't worry about me i'm fine. and also i'm- her ears perked up her sensative hearing warned her she reached into her bag and pulled out a long dagger. it might even be called a short sword. she looked around. she heard baals foot steps.
The demon lept from the shadows, emerging on takjas. It's long fangs pierced her arm. Baal came running, bearing a "pissed off" look. He also had a sword. It glowed bright purple. "Damn beast!" he cried. He swung his sword into the beast, beheading it cleanly. The head flew off the pendragon, landing in the bushes. Sweat covered Baal's forhead. Clearly he still cared about this girl. "Are you ok?" he asked.
as she felt the beast price her skin she wanted to cry out but could not find her vocie. she did not see what had happened only after the beasts head had let go did she see baal standing there . he ask if she was ok. she looked at her arm i was stained red and something ele a tooth still reminded in the flesh. she carefuly pulled it out and examanded it she saw it was coated in something. she felt rather dizzy. she looked over and baal and shook her head before her world went black. ooc: just so you know that mean she fainted
*** Kaii Village *** Baal stood over her body. She lay on a bed, tucked in. The poison from that pendragon was minimal, but enough to almost kill her. It was good he worked with dark magic. He knew how he could cure it. Baal had brought her to Kaii village, the one that they were heading to before...the accident. If he had not arrived in time, she most certanly would be dead. A pendragon wearing a tight white coat entered the room. He asked Baal a few questions about the girl and then left. Baal stood by her side the entire time, hoping she would wake. Baal lifted the poison tooth in the air. Coated in phychicolsia acid. A dangerous chemical, a killer. She better wake. If not, he would be in grief for the first time in years...
takjas was dreaming. she dremt of her family before they left her brothers and sisters were all playing and wanted he to come and join she ran to them but then she stoped they all fell to the ground. takjas broke out in cold sweat. the dream faded and she dirfted in and out of the real world she someone stand over her she fought to see who it was. her eyes opened slightly she groaned. she tried to move her arm to wipe the sleep out of her eyes and was greeted with pain. ouch! wh-where am I. she looked around she wanted to get up how'd she get here. she looked at baal i feel strange.
Baal broke into relief. For once he had used his powers to do something great, he saved a life. "You would...you almost died". He sighed. "You should try and get some rest, we will leave in a few days". He watched her close her eyes and drift into sleep. Baal walked out of the room and down the Kaii Inn hallway. He sat down at the bar table. "Give me a glass of your strongest" he said slamming a chunk of gold on the table. The bar tender nodded, excited at his genorosity. He handed Baal a glass of alchohal which Baal chugged down fast. He placed the glass back on the table and decided to check on takjas. He walked into her room and sat down on a small broken stool.
takjas did as he sujested but she only slept for a while because after about 10 minutes it clicked in. leaveing in a couple days! what about supplies and other things she needed! she sat bolt up it must have startled baal because he was looking at her as if she had just jumped out of bed and did a back flip! i need to get up. i need supplies! i need to go to the nearest shop and get supplies and.... her expression changed from worry to fear. she felt her neck the locket was there but... wheres my bag.
"When I saved you, you didn't have a bag on you" Baal said looking suprized. "Maybe...someone stole it". He felt really bad. He shook his head. "I can go back and look for it!" Baal said. His face changed from suprized to worried. What if she didn't trust him. He didn't have her stupid bag. He had another vision. There was another pendragon, he was bigger, stronger...he stole it. "I'll find it if it's the last thing I do!". Baal ran off down the hallway and out the door.
takjas trew back the covers and hopped out. what did he think she was gonna do twiddle her tumbs, be a good girl and wait! not likely! wait! i'm coming with you! she got down the hall and he was gone she ran to the door and trew it open. where are you going!! she sighed she'd never be able to catch up now! not with a broken wing and a hurt arm. she went to the bar and asked if they had any food. thank goodness she at least kept a change pruse on her. she got some soup and ate. it was ok she guessed. but truth be told she wasn't concentrating on the soup she was more worried about her bag and her gems. they were the only thing that she had, besides her locket. there were three in the bag a green a white and a red sybolizing fire, air, and earth. her mother and father had givin them to her. she could eat no more she tossed some money on the counter and stromed off to her room.
*** Baal stood in the jungle, the spot where the demon attacked. He senced something behind the bushes, carefully drawing his sword. He sprung. A pendragon, holding takjas's bag! He slayed the pendragon in one hit, out of anger. Then he sat down, he was exausted. Deciding that he would take one look inside her bag, to see what was so precious. He opened it. 3 gems fell out, along with a loaf of bread. Baal was very hungry so he ate the bread, and would tell her the beast had ate it. Then he saw the gems. The elements of Ramath-lehi. She was already wounded, if he took them he could make a clean getta-way. Or...he could replace them with his gems. No. That would be wrong. Yes. He would be rich. No. His mind conflicted. He then decided the only decent thing he had done in his life, he would return the bag. He ran back to Kaii village, seeing takjas crying. Surely she would have thought that Baal had stolen it. He then saw the look of shock on her face when he returned it. "Here, I have no use for this" he said handing it to her. He shifted his feet a bit. "I also must leave you, I have something to take care of". He reached inside his bag pulling out a large polished ruby. He handed it to her. "Good luck on your journey, takjas...maybe we will meet again...maybe not". For the first time Baal felt sorrow, for the girl with no family. "Your mother says hi" was the last thing he said. He ran outside the Inn, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He then flew into the sky, past the jungle, and towards the Tmu Desert. For what reason, she will never know... *** <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>A good ending? Maybe. Or can you somehow continue the story?</td></tr></table>
takjas ran out of the inn in time to watch him fly away. she checked her bag the bread was gone but her gems were still there. she placed the ruby in with them biside the ring. she swore one day she would find him because she knew that he knew more about her mother she just didn't know what and why he wouldn't tell her. she walked back inside the inn and started to pack it was going to be hard to find someone to help her to her next destanation but maybe just maybe she would she slug her bag over her shoulder and with one last look around left the little inn and went out in to the sun. she smiled and she knew one day she would find her mother
